I had never been to the Urban Lounge, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. It also may have ruined big concert venues for me. The reason why this place is much better than the big venues is how close you can get to the bands. We saw Citizen Soldier and Smash into Pieces. Our tickets were not expensive. We got to be feet away from the bands. The big venues you would have to pay an arm and a leg to get that close. There, the ticket was really cheap. What was not cheap was the venue. It was not run down. I liked the establishment. Another reason why the small venues are better is because often the bands will let you meet them. We got to get autographs and pictures with both Citizen Soldier and Smash into Pieces. I would highly recommend this place. This place feels how a true concert should feel. On a side note, the urban Lounge is located at a great spot. There were quite a few restaurants nearby. We saw the normal fast food, Latino, and other establishments. It made it easy to get food before or after the concert. There was also a gas station close by and a grocery store a little ways off. Parking was not a challenge for us. I love places with easy parking.

I drove over 5 hours to come see a concert here. I was excited and joking around when we got to the venue, I am always like this on a night out. The bouncers decided that I was too drunk and wouldn't let me in for about an hour, I didn't even get to see the first band at all. I am 45 and I have never been a problem in a concert, or a bar in my life! I was humiliated and embarrassed!! I never ended up being a problem, I didn't even mouth off to them, or anything when they treated me like I would be a problem. So payed for a show I didn't get to watch most of and got Falsely accused of being over intoxicated when I wasn't. Best part is someone else I came with was slurring their words and walking funny, but they got to go in and see the whole show! One of the worst nights I've ever had and the worst concert experiences of my life! I wish I could forget what it felt like to get treated that way. I did email management and was pleasantly surprised I got answered back. The man who responded was polite, kind and apologized if I was treated unfairly. I was also told they would implement better training for this in the future. I have a lot of respect for the way he handled the situation and so will be changing my one star to a 3. Hope no one else goes through the same, seems they do what they can to improve and want to be be fair to patrons.

Had a great experience, staff were really nice, first time going to a metal concert, I really didn’t expect the sound system to be so loud and clear made my night had an amazing time. Will remember to bring earplugs next time though.

Great show with Devotchka. Sound was ok....so blasted hot though. Would love some AC upgrades. Overall I love Urban Lounge. They do a great job bringing in some decent names along with the up-and-comers:)

Intimate concert venue. Definitely worth going to a concert here if it's an artist you want to see. The bar service was good as well with a large outdoor smoking area. Mark was the coolest bartender ever.

The last two shows I saw here were great. The sound was very good (which seems to be rare for indoor venues here, like The Depot). The atmosphere was nice also. The lack of AC was annoying but it wasn't bothersome when I saw a show in September and my show yesterday. The bar seemed nice, but the bartender looked so depressed. He wasn't helpful or friendly at all. Sorry I don't know how bars work dude, just wanted some help. There weren't even a lot of people there. Overall good venue. Good location downtown as well.

Small venue that allows you to get close with the performer. I'd definitely be back.

I enjoy going to see shows at #TheUrbanLounge It’s a small venue with a max capacity of 299 but usually only have a hundred or so. There are a few tables and booths available. We get there early to get a seat when we aren’t expecting to dance or be close to the stage. The bar is great, I’ve even been comped a ginger beer or 2. Parking is limited to street parking.

Just got done watching Cold. AMAZING SHOW. Scooter is absolutely phenomenal. Connected with the crowd. It was so emotional, touching, and an amazing experience I'll never forget. The venue was great! Awesome bartenders and good cheap drinks.

Great atmosphere, the event started late but it was due to the weather. We listened to Dune Moss and Mindy Gledhill. I didn't even know this place was here. We were invited out and it was well worth it. I would recommend it.

Got covid going to a concert here. No fans going and they couldn't even open the doors to let some air in/out. It was like a covid hotbox in there. The people sitting in the reservation booths were eye level with someone short in the back. I saw a few people having to stand to see anything from theirs. No security checks at all besides ID.

Great sound. I stood under the fan system. Band looked hot and sweaty. It was about 79 out. Lot of road construction around the building. Awesome time! Friendly bartenders. Cheers.

Urban Lounge has turned into a great venue. It used to be grungy and to some that may have been part of it's charm. Now the owners have updated the look and I really appreciate it! It feels more welcoming and I will definitely be returning.

usually this place is pretty chill, and especially since it's a 21 and up venue which serves alcohol, you would think people would mind their own business. But don't discretely throw up in the bathroom, and get caught. They will throw you out, even if you're not even that drunk and not causing a scene and minding your own business. Very disappointed I missed one of my favorite bands because my boyfriend, who was LESS drunk than I was, he just has a weak stomach, got kicked out. very disappointed. I have been to many places and would not tell on someone unless they really needed to be kicked out, and was putting me or someone else in danger. The security said it was because he threw up, and not because he was upsetting someone else. So, very disappointed. Hopefully the band comes back soon, and not to that venue with tattle tales <3 sorry I am complaining, just very upset and disappointed and venting. We even bought merch, but good thing that goes towards the artist. <3

Urban is great, smaller club. I love the shows they have and enjoy the intimate setting. They usually all run late and in the summer months it can get pretty hot inside. The sound has improved (depending on who is on sound). It is mostly standing only with a few rentable booths They have a patio for smokers outback and have improved their bar and bathroom. I have also enjoyed their outdoor shows.
