The room was alright. The bed was soft. The problem we had was communicating with staff as is when we went down for breakfast the employee said it was a buffet and showed us in. We got the continental breakfast and sat down with our plates. We just started eating when that same employee who showed us in came up and asked us for a voucher for breakfast. We didn’t know what he was talking about so he said we had to pay. We already got out plates of food so we paid. Our bill was $43 for a continental breakfast for 2 people. It was insane. I feel like continental breakfast is nice.. it’s not the best breakfast but you put up with it because it is free. They should honestly feel embarrassed but the cost of that garbage. Oh. And the cost of that room was absolutely not worth it. We paid almost $500 for 2 rooms with a joining door for 1 night. You can do better.

I've stayed at other downtown hotels and this one just seems run down. The carpet in the hallways and room looks like it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. The TV was unhooked and remote wasn't working. Bathroom could have definitely been cleaner. Staff wasn't very welcoming and restaurant was closed.

Would never stay again! Checking in was a hassle! The woman would not accept my credit card because the name did not match the one on the reservation (it's hyphenated with my madien name). And wouldn't accept my husband's credit card because he wasn't the one who was on the reservation though his card was the one that paid for it. Had to use a debit card and she belittled me because it's only for incidentals it will go right back. The pool was closed for maintenance which was not disclosed on the website when booking which would have been a reason for us to pass with 2 small children. The shower was filthy with black, hopefully not mold, in the corners of the caulking. And the half the TV channels didn't even come through. Definitely chose a better downtown location when staying in Salt Lake, I know we won't stay here or recommend it to anyone

The entry can only be done through the right side, a left turn into the hotel is not possible. The room is rather spacious. The bathroom came with complimentary items. Though there are ongoing renovations, the hall smelled musty. Walking to City Creek is down the block with food nearby. Please note that since it is downtown, the Trax runs right next to the hotel. If you are a light sleeper like I am, ear plugs and a sleeping mask are recommended.

This is a very dirty hotel with terrible customer service. I stayed for a conference and I will never go back! There was a used dirty mask in my room when I checked in. Also, the walls are thin - we heard everything and the bed uncomfortable. Stay somewhere else! It is nicely located to the train - easy ride from the airport and walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Don't expect for the room to stay a consistent temperature. They use a motion detector to maintain temperature in the rooms. Sounds great but a huge failure in reality. The motion detector shuts off at night making the room temperature raise 5-7 degrees in constant swings all night long. Want to use the fan built into the room? Nope, runs on the says motion detector. Good luck sleeping if you like a consistent temperature. The toilet hardly functions and takes 2-3 flushes to clean out liquids. Seems like they are trying to hard to be "up scale" and really missed the mark on the details.

Not a 4 star hotel, but is nice and conveniently located downtown. Their lock system for the doors to the rooms is very problematic. I would not stay here again based on that alone. I had to have my key reset 4 times and some friends we were staying with got locked out of their room when they went to get ice. The breakfast buffet looked really nice, but costs $20. The towels are extra long and the beds are comfortable. I think the beds at Holiday Inn Express are better, but they are still nice. I really enjoyed the hot tub. The pool is a little on the small side, but it was a perfect temp and clean. Overall, if it would not have been for the door issues, I would give this hotel 5 stars.

Room wasn’t clean, there was leftover Chinese food in our fridge and smashed strawberries in the carpet. They didn’t even offer any kind of compensation when we checked out. Also, we went to have breakfast and the waitress didn’t explain at all how the buffet worked or how much it cost. She just pointed to a table basically. It was 80 dollars for four people and two of us only had fruit and yogurt. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately I wasn't given the room that is advertised on their pictures. The hotel and lobby as a whole was beautiful but again my room did not match the lavishness of the hotel as a whole. There was a red stain on the carpet and the carpet had a smell to it(an old smell). The tub was old and there was paint peeling in the bathroom ceiling. Again, was not the picture that's posted(also posted in the elevator)

Wasn't impressed! We paid over $400 for 2 nights (which apparently is a great deal). But it didn't include their "free continental breakfast". $20/person? Really? Also parking was $22/ night, but lucky for us it was broken and we got to park for free "until it gets fixed". The food in their restaurant had a very limited menu that was way overpriced... $50 for a steak dinner. We ended up getting 2 "cheap" appetizers and a dessert and it still came to almost $50. The rooms are dated and definitely need an upgrade. Won't stay there again. For that price, you should get breakfast and parking for free.

Amazing room, felt very luxurious. The front desk person was highly understanding given we had some issues and worked to accommodate us as much as he could. The location is also in downtown, which makes it walkable to nearby attractions. I'd stay here again.

Everything was great until my nephew's chain and ring went missing from the room. I asked front desk clerk to check on cameras to see if someone went into the room, she had to wait on Manager to arrive. So I asked them to call me if they saw anything on camera, because I had put the do not disturb sign on door and the next day it was on the inside of door. I didn't move it nor my nephew. So someone went in the room. Don't leave anything of value in room when you step out.......

Only reason for the 3 star overall was because the indoor pool was very cold, and the hot tub was drained and out of service when we were told upon check in the were available. Updated rooms were very nice and beds were very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and responsive, especially to our issue regarding our door that did not shut completely unless pulled closed.

Over rated. There was hair all over the restroom and room. The mattress was very hot, I kept rolling over all night. Could not sleep well. For the price I expected a clean room and confortable bed. So no, I can't recommend this place. The view was ok.

We just dropped by to see if the convention was in this place and it wasn't another one. Seems to be a nice place to be. We never had the opportunity to rent a room or not. I think it would be better if this place had the front office remodeled and look a little better. The service was good though. Thank you for your help finding the right and correct location.

Excellent stay! Front desk staff was courteous and helpful with my check in. Room was clean. I traveled with my baby and let her crawl around fully expecting her to have dirty knees and feet but she stayed clean 🙌 Bed was actually very comfortable. Air conditioning and heat worked. Warm shower. Mini fridge in room. Ice, soda vending machine, and microwave on each floor. Extremely close proximity to the convention center. You don't even have to cross the street. I feel Salt Lake is a pretty safe city but its nice to know you can walk through the convention center after dark and have a 30 second walk to the hotel. Walking distance to Temple Square and City Creek Center. Only con....very basic TV channels. Only non news channels were nat geo and discovery. Didn't give them a try but there is a restaurant and Starbucks in the lobby and a gym and pool. Would definitely recommend if you are attending an event at the convention center. I will stay again!

Horrible service! I got there at 10:30pm after a long event and the shower water was barely warm. I took a shower and called the front desk. They gave me a line about federal regulation. The next morning I talked to the front desk again wanting a shower that was at least semi hot after my event. The front desk said they would send a repair man. That night the shower was freezing no hot water at all. I called the desk and they said they would send a repair man. I don't want a repair man to fix my shower at 11pm so I declined. For a hotel I'm spending $170 a night for I would at least want someone to look at the shower the following day.

No hot water the first day. Wasn't generally impressed, but it was by no means bad. The hallway in front of our room was an icebox. Don't know where all the cold air was coming from. Pool was tiny and not very clean. Half the jets in the hot tub didn't work.

I had an amazing stay! The staff was extremely helpful. I am visually impared with a service dog. Everyone treated me like a regular person. I felt like I was at a second home. The room was clean and smelled clean.i couldn't be more appreciative.

This was a great value considering how close to downtown. Walking distance within 10-15 minutes of temple square, city creek. 3-5 minutes from the Delta Center, Abravanel Hall. Clean and neat. Kids loved the pool and we lo ed the hot tub. The exercise center was above average.

I really enjoyed the hotel and its well located, reasonably priced, and nice rooms. But the bartenders at the bar seemed uninterested in taking our orders. It took 30 minutes to check in and about 20 minutes to buy a bottle of water and a kind bar from the front desk snack section. I think their staff needs more training or they are all new. They were mostly friendly but didn't seem to know what they were doing

We wound up here when Delta cancelled our flight causing an extra overnight stay. In the positive the check-in people were cordial and the bed was satisfactory. However the room was not clean. Bathroom floor was sticky and dirt in corners. There were no tissues in the room and when we asked the front desk for replacement tissues she said they were all out and all we could get was more toilet paper. When we tried to sign up for the 4:00 am airport shuttle we were told it was booked and we would have to go at 3:30. All in all a bad experience at a sub standard hotel, even among airport hotels!

Hallways had rippled carpet with a lot of debris with fix it things laying around. No TV remote for 2 hours, when they brought a new one it was covered in dust, it turned on the TV but then didn't do anything else so we asked them to come back. In the meantime, our son found the remote under the bed. The light above the nightstand was hanging. Pretty dumpy place for the price.

Rooms were good, but no hot water first day and it took 20 minutes to get hot water second day. Parking process is ok, but clearly they have some equipment issues. Checkout was slow, we had a third party paying, but it took about 25 minutes to check out. The rooms really were nice but the other problems made the stay kind of disappointing.

Great hotel, and location! Right across the street from the Utah Jazz arena If you’re looking for somewhere concur it to stay after a game. They also have super comfortable sheets and pillows which is weirdly hard to find lately. I feel like every hotel has sand paper for sheets now days?! Anyways this place was great.

The lobby and common areas are less than spacious but otherwise adequate for small conferences or meetings. I was looking for places to meet with associates, which the bar provided when it was open. However the lobby was not accommodating. The catering services for our event were very good, as was the service. Parking in the garage was convenient and easy to access.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I found the hugest cockroach I ever saw in my room. They moved me to a room that had a consistently running toilet. The pool is way too cold. The jets on the hot tub are broke, do not shut off. My room was NOT cleaned daily or the whole time I was there. I tried to ask housekeeping if they were going to clean my room. They didn’t understand English, so I used Google translate to tell them it wasn’t cleaned. They STILL did not clean my room. The phone in my room did not work. There is no shuttle to or from the airport. Breakfast is not included with the room if anyone is wondering that as well. When I checked out I NEVER received a receipt. UPDATE,since I cannot respond to owner's reply... Hey owner, reread my review. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS HOW HORRIBLE THIS HOTEL IS!

This was an okay hotel, but a little work could go a long way to making it better. The rooms were clean, but definitely in need of a renovation -- there was a hole in the bathroom wall, veneer coming off the desk, broken safe, etc. The walls were also paper thin and I could hear the neighbors television loud and clear. My biggest complaint was the lack of lighting in the parking garage. I did not feel safe going to and from my car.

This hotel and staff deserves special recognition for our stay! We arrived with our son for move in day at the U and proceeded to our room. We weren’t happy with the condition of our room and they immediately rectified the situation and placed us on a premium floor in a beautiful new room. They even refunded our parking. But the most wonderful part was how accommodating and friendly the everyone was ESPECIALLY the front desk staff! Thanks for everything, Radisson!!

This is definitely the place to stay to be close to everything! From our hotel we walked to the Gateway, Farmer's Market, and City Creek! The rooms were clean and comfortable. They offer underground parking for $22/day which is a bit steep. They upgraded our room because they ran out of regular king rooms, so that was an added bonus!

A decent hotel fairly centrally located with lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are some minor signs of wear and tear but overall it is a good value.

Nice rooms located 70 ft from where I needed to go. I'm staying a week and to this point everyone who I have interacted with from the hotel has been pleasant and nice. Even the housekeeping staff has a smile and is very polite.

The rooms are fine. They tried to charge us $21 per person for a continental breakfast. Save your money and stay at a Choice Hotel. Rooms are the same and they don't charge for the breakfast. Edit: we went to the front desk to ask about if we were to pay for breakfast. They told us that the restaurant is not free. But be "buffet" is all you can eat. So is Econo Lodge. Save your money. Go to one of those.

Overall this is a nice quiet hotel. The beds are very firm, not at all soft. The room was clean and had plenty of towels and toiletries. I took two stars off because the website advertises that continental breakfast is available. However, that is not true. In order to eat breakfast, it needs to be purchased with a package. I felt that was misleading. Also, the front desk attendants were not very knowledgeable about the area. Bottom line, it's a solid hotel, but no extras included.
