First time visiting the Utah State Fair. Because it is located in downtown Salt Lake, I was concerned parking would be an issue. Instead, there was a dedicated parking lot, close by for a fee, with plenty of parking. Tickets can be purchased online or at the entrance. We purchased ours there, and the line was quick. Once inside, there are many food booths, vendor tents, a large variety of rides and attractions, 4H displays and the animal barns! They have rodeos and concerts as well. The park was clean, and they provide hand washing stations all throughout the park (the stations were also very clean). We went on a Saturday during the day, and it was busy, but not so crowded you couldn’t enjoy everything. It was a very enjoyable visit!

Tons of events held here. Went here for the Utah Asian Festival. Both indoor and outdoor areas. Lots of fun, with food and performances

The state fair is literally one of the most fun places. I've gone every year since I was a kid and it's never lost its magic. Went on a Sunday morning this year and it didn't get crowded until around 1. All of the employees are so nice- food service to animal keepers to ride operators, they all seem to care and be having fun and that adds to the magic.

The food is great. Try the hot beef sundae, it's really freaking good. The funnel cake was good and so was the elotes. The lines for rides at the fair on the last Friday were pretty long and it made it hard to really get to ride anything but it was still fun.

Nice facility for the C10 Nationals, although we wished there were more trees or shaded areas.

Went here for the Scottish festival. I wasn't terribly impressed with the amenities, but the grass was pretty lush, so I guess that was good. I like that they allow pets (wish I'd known beforehand; I would have brought my dog).

Went to watch 100 year anniversary of Golden Gloves boxing. Awesome building for venue. Safe and comfortable. Easy access. Avoided $10 parking and parked on street. Easy walk to inside. Safe walk back to car after sunset.

I was reading the reviews and found a lot people talking about the DMV. Its great and all but... This review is not about that. The rooms at the Utah State Fairpark are unreal. Small event. Medium event. Large event. EXTRA LARGE. They can handle it all. And its gorgeous. And parking is easy. And its close to the freeway. And its a stop off the trax/light rail. It goes on and on. Lastly Aly (not sure her title) she took the time to meet me before the event, answer my questions, and everything went off without a hitch. Book the Utah State Fairpark now for your event...and while you're here...get your license renewed Richie ~ Best-DJ-in-Utah

Scottish festival was fantastic! Loved the bands, entertainment, food and vendors. Watching the games and world-class athletes is always amazing!

Really nice park actually. Lots of grass and trees for shade. I wish there were drinking water fountains though. The food vendors had a racket going for any food or drinks bottled water was $5!!! Food was at least $15 for french fries! Other than that complaint it was a nice place.

The International Market at the fairgrounds offered many vendors from a great deal of different cultures. They had many different food, jewelry, craft, and clothing vendors. Great experience. Also made a quick visit by the river and saw the seagulls and ducks.

I've come here for a lot of events and I'm usually having a good time. The walk/driveways are well maintained and easily walkable just bring some good shoes if your going to be walking a lot. The buildings are well maintained and most have good ac and water stations. Fun place to go for an event.

We love the fair. Its a great tradition for our family. We see the farm animals, learn about farming, see the art and homemaking crafts. Ride the bug yellow slide and get some fun snacks!!

I haven't been to the Fair since I was a little kid and it fully exceeded the expectations I had! We played overpriced games, ate a ton of delicious fatty food and tried our luck on the wheel of death 😅 the venue, with how they had everything placed, seemed organized enough-- although they need some more shaded seating areas to eat! Like why is the smoker section the only place where that's offered?!

The Utah State Fair was excellent! The facilities at the fair grounds are clean and spacious. The outside grounds have enough trees to provide shade (hint, hint barren death bowl that is Lehi Thanksgiving Point). I enjoyed all the offerings, from 4H projects and livestock showings, to arts and crafts. The food offerings were delicious, the Thomas Bros rides were exhilarating, and the lines were very reasonable. Overall, it was great.
