This is the part of the university of Salzburg that deals with the teaching of music (hence the name). It is a world class facility attracting students from all over the world. It's also an excellent piece of modern architecsture in its own right. It's possible to visit during the day and indeed it's possible to attend for free concert by the students studying at the University. You can pick up a programme of performances from the main lobby.

Great university with some tantalizing glimpses of olden days structure

Terrible, awful, rude, inconsiderate, annoying, offensive; both staff and students (with some notable exceptions). Stay as far away from this hell hole as possible.

One of the best music departments in the world. Also if you are into free classical concerts, this is the place.

I visited to eat launch that was cheap and delicious. After meal I went to the library and staff was friendly.
