This
is
a
lovely
structure
from
the
early
17th
century.
It
is
typical
for
this
part
of
Germany
-
I've
seen
city
council
buildings
of
the
kind
elsewhere
in
North
Rhine-
Westfalia.
I
like
very
much
this
kind
of
public
architecture,
the
colors
of
the
building.
In
front
of
the
Rathaus
there
is
big
square
with
a
nice
small
fountain,
that
is
not
working
all
the
time.
After
working
hours
are
gone,
for
a
short
time
there
a
lot
of
visitors
in
the
nearby
cafes,
and
then
the
square
becomes
very
quiet
and
peaceful,
buses
passing
only
from
time
to
time.
Unfortunately,
the
building
was
destroyed
during
WWII,
but
was
quickly
rebuilt
shortly
after
war
ended,
so
now
visitors
and
citizens
alike
can
admire
it.
