One of the leading state universities in Samarinda City in particular and in East Kalimantan Province in general. The campus is quite spacious and quite clean and comfortable. After some arrangement was carried out previously, the appearance of the main gate of this campus (access from Jalan M. Yamin) has become cooler and more contemporary. Some of the existing faculties on this campus include: FISIP, Agriculture, Forestry, Teacher Training and Education, Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Law, Engineering and others.
