There are not enough positive words to explain how amazing this hotel was. I was stuck in San Angelo for a good 4 months and was lucky enough to get recommended this hotel. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortably accommodated. That includes the cleaning services as well, my room was always spotless. I was not happy to be in San Angelo but the whole staff is what made it bitter sweet to go! Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody looking for an extended stay!!

Patrick and Jose (Thank you SO much Jose!) Made this stay even better! Great place to stay when visiting your Airman 😁 All the front desk people are reasons to return, the service, the atmosphere, the quiet can't be beat

II HAVE BEEN DUSTURBED 4 TIMES THIS MORNING WITH THE FRONT DESK ASKING ME QUESTIONS ON MY STAY.I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND THIS LADY HAS JUST MADE MY DAY.HORRIBLE TERRIBLE NEVER EVER WILL I COME HERE AGAIN . MORNING FRONT DESK MANAGER BANGING ON MY DOOR QUESTIONING MY STAY AS IF I WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE here. As an IHG member I thought that it would be great being a customer since I will be doing a lot of traveling, but NO . TOTALLY DISRESPECTED being woken up only to be asked personal questions to the point of literally being screamed at!!!! I am humiliated as a person, guest!!!! To be treated as less then,or bullied by a man or a Lady whom ever that was ,I am not be bullied...I am the wrong one to do that too!! I pray no one else would go through a horrific stay such as this at the Candlewood suites San Angelo Tx

Good hotel front desk made us feel comfortable and welcome. Food nearby and shopping next door. Will stay here again if we come back in town. Room was good sized and bed was comfortable

About what we expected dog friendly and nice kitchen. Facilities are clean and comfortable for the price. Will probably be back if in the area. San Angelo is a nice town on travel from Albuquerque to Houston.

I stayed here for 80 something days. The room comes with pots and pans and a stovetop, a full fridge and dishes and cups. The customer service is excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful. Also give military discount and allow pups. A++

We were traveling in our RV with our 2 dogs and got stranded in San Angelo. After calling and speaking with Patrick he assured us they had a room for us and were so very welcoming. The rooms were very very clean affordable and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. This is not a luxury hotel but Very practical and comfortable for what we needed last minute. The staff was very kind and friendly even to our pups. ❤️

We loved the room and the location was convenient to everywhere we needed to go. If I could rate the staff higher I would. Everyone of the staff was friendly and we liked them all, especially Patrick! He is amazing and goes above and beyond for the guests. He makes sure every guest is happy and comfortable.

I travel for work during the week, and sometimes need a room last minute. I used to stay at the Holiday Inn on the same road as this hotel. I’ve found the rooms at Candlewood Suites to be better furnished & significantly more accommodating. The rooms have a kitchenette with dinnerware/silverware, a full-size fridge, and kitchen sink — which is extremely convenient for making a quick meal for lunch/dinner instead of ordering takeout. Shauna and Mary are always friendly & helpful when I stay here. I’ll continue coming to Candlewood when I’m in the San Angelo area.

I can't praise Linda enough. First, she was able to get me checked in early. She checked and made sure the room was great. Then, she help extended my stay. She was so nice and professional. I'm a trucker who drive all over country. This was in my top 3 hotels visits. The room was excellent. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed and great water pressure. Thank you again. Whenever, im in the area, I will definitely return.

Such a clean and peaceful hotel! We stay here every time we travel from Colorado to Texas. And Mary at the front desk......a SAINT! She always goes above and beyond to help. She spent time on the phone with us to make sure we got the reservation we needed and she was so patient and understanding with all the questions my husband had for her. He's a wounded Veteran and sometimes has a hard time comprehending information and will ask questions over and over. Mary answered all of his questions and helped him feel comfortable and reassured him with all of the patience that lots of times, is not shown to my husband. Thank you, Mary for everything!

What makes it excellent is the staff. Id specifically like to recognize Patrick at the front desk. He is extremely friendly, he exceeds any expectations Ive ever had when dealing with customer service. Hes always available, always kind and positive. He goes out of his way to open doors for guests, and provides a friendly positive atmosphere at the hotel. I hope he gets acknowledged for his work ethic, and his genuine positive energy.

We're in San Angelo for work, and finding this hotel was a perfect choice. The rooms and kitchens are perfect for an extended stay, but the staff is what surpasses everything else. Patrick was SO nice over the phone, but even more helpful in person. Hope to return soon! Thanks for such a friendly welcome.

Comfortable accommodations with friendly, helpful staff. The room had all the amenities and accoutrements I needed during my stay. Located close to several dining choices and easily accessed by main thoroughfares. I would stay here again when I am next in San Angelo.

I checked in at Candlewood around midnight after an unfortunate experience at a different hotel prompted me to make other arrangements. Safety was a concern, as I am a female who was arriving alone in the middle of the night. The desk clerk was so friendly. I felt that she saw how exhausted I was and wanted me to feel welcomed. There was a gentleman waiting in the lobby (probably for a food delivery).... so the desk clerk was sure NOT to repeat my room number or any personal information out loud, which I was very appreciative of. The parking lot was well lit and I felt comfortable walking back and forth to my vehicle alone to grab my bags. (Hotel location is great as well.) The room was clean and perfectly comfortable. I was thankful for this experience after the difficulty I'd had at my originally planned accommodations. I don't remember her name, but management should incentivize the overnight desk clerk who checked me in around midnight between July 8th - July 9th. She is the reason I will be staying at/recommending this hotel in the future.

The absolutely best part of our visit was the night clerk, Becky. She was so kind, friendly, helpful, and good humored. The room was nice enough, we had a two bed suite. There were some very obvious patches, unpainted portions of the walls, and the dishwasher had a little bit of a mildew smell. The pool needs a little more shade, maybe a couple of umbrellas? Also, in a great location. Access to everything, had no trouble finding the location.

Staff was extremely nice and accommodating while we had to stay in San Angelo for a family emergency. Room are well kept and the full size fridge with a kitchenette was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Exactly what you expect when you visit a candelwood suites hotel. Everything clean, snacks available, all amenities working. Plenty of on-site parking and in a very convenient area.

My room was attractive and absolutely spotless. And I'm VERY FUSSY. There is someone on duty 24 hours, and everyone was always friendly and ready to help. I'm a smoker (and a night owl), so I was in and out all the time and whenever I saw an employee, they were busy, but all smiles when they saw you. The free coffee and bananas kept me going, the pantry saved my sanity a few times, and in general, if I could afford to live here, instead of just stay here to visit my kids when I can make it to San Angelo, I would. Luggage racks would be cool, though.

Very clean and comfortable! I've stayed at a few of the other hotels in that area and was very disappointed. But this one was actually very nice! The gym and laundry are open 24hr (laundry is free!), there is also a good selection in the pantry you can buy. Only thing I didn't like was there was no breakfast. Otherwise I very much enjoyed the stay.
