Really good find for me in San Angelo close to their river walk. It’s mostly a pottery place and not a lot of selection or broad spectrum but lots of cute local artists to see. Very quaint, small town art feel.

Admission was free so I can’t complain! Only took about 40 minutes to look at all the exhibits. I loved the focus on local artists. But I honestly like the street art better found in Paintbrush Alley and Art in Uncommon Places!

Loved that the entry to the museum was free! It is small but has some really beautiful exhibits! Great place for all ages to enjoy! The mixed media and sculptures were definitely my favorite part of the museum! I hope to see it expand more one day as the artwork there is magnificent!

This is a small, but very nice museum. Their ceramics collection is so different from those that I have seen other places. They have some absolutely wonderful pieces. The shows that they had while we were there were exhibited very nicely. Staff is very helpful and willing to explain things.

Nice place to come and get out of the heat for a little bit from walking up and down the river walk. When I went it was free so I don't know if it always will be. They are doing some renovations right now. The view from the top deck is amazing, you can see most of downtown and the river.

Warning: Some of the art pieces are not age appropriate for children (Probably for children under 12, but I personally didn't find them tasteful myself). The do have a Texas exhibit and a rotating exhibit which we found enjoyable, and they did have a kids craft the day we went which was fun

I tried to visit today, but the doors were locked. Someone came to the door and told me the museum is temporarily closed for several months. She said it will reopen in some buildings currently being renovated on the nearby Fort Concho site. I'm leaving a 1-star review because they haven't updated the hours on their website. They didn't even put a sign on the door to indicate why they are closed during their normal hours.
