This is one of the best antique shops I've ever been to. Everything seems carefully curated, every item looks like it's had special attention to make it look its best, and the prices are very reasonable. I think this is because it's not a booth-based setup like most shops - it's just one store/owner (not sure about this but I think that's the case!). Before we moved to San Angelo in 2019 we checked out the local antique shops to see if we'd be making weekend trips elsewhere or if we would be able to find great stuff here. This is the shop that made us confident we'd be able to find great stuff here, and we just keep coming back. We just bought two desks and had them delivered - great experience, and looking forward to buying more. 👍

I love this store, it’s got so much quirky and fun vintage items that are well-curated. The decorations and atmosphere are welcoming and stylish too. It’s not just a fuddy duddy antique store, it’s really quite beautiful and fun to look around for special art. My friend Helen finds a lot of her vintage cat statues here, and there’s always something new and different. The staff are super helpful and I can tell they genuinely care about customers. It’s a great place, love it!

Absolutely love this store! It’s always clean and such a fun atmosphere. New items are always added constantly - vinyl selection is AMAZING! Hands down my favorite vintage store in town.

MUST SEE in San Angelo! Browsing these isles is like re-living my childhood. There are so many fabulous pieces of furniture and many different booths to shop for almost anything you're looking for, from clothes to records, to decorative items. Tyler is the best and can help you put any room or outfit together!

San Angelo benefits greatly from having MadStyle Vintage in our midst. The location is ideal, downtown in the historically rich district, but with much better parking! The store is beautiful, arranged so that every piece available for sale, is showcased in such a way that you can picture how it would look in your own home. The selection of vintage furniture, electronics, art, and even music is superb. The customer service is fantastic, they are helpful, and friendly, without hoovering over you, or being high pressure with their sale. It was one of my favorite stores to frequent, and I recommend it to my friends often!

Pretty neat shop for mid century modern items located in the heart of San Angelo! So glad I stopped by! Found some really neat stuff here but unfortunately didn't get to take anything with me! If you like mid century modern or other neat things from around the 40-70s this is your spot!

I used to love this store but it has been downhill, customer service is severely lacking. Waited forever for my delivery. You pay a premium only to wait weeks and months. You will be lucky if you get a response to any text or message or call back. I try hard to support small businesses but this one is lacking. Used to have a wonderful atmosphere but it’s completely dead in there now. Not sure what’s going on or if it’s poor management- inquired about a price on items not Marked and never heard back so why even bother. Lots of red flags and feeling unappreciated so I won’t be back anymore. My friend feels the same so i am glad it isn’t just me experiencing the same feelings. Maybe if you buy small items you’ll be ok but buyer beware on bigger items And good luck trying to get any response from owner.

Went in looking for some period pieces. Was quite shocked when I looked around. If the furniture is covered in stains and filthy, you don't have to put a sign on it to not sit for me. I was extremely put off by the prices, especially because the furniture was dirty. Really dirty. Like some toddler in the 70's had a stomach bug and that was why they initially got rid of it. It was highly disappointing.

So my 9-year-old son put a 1930s/40s typewriter at the top of his Christmas gift list. I had scoured San Angelo for a working one that wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg, and was getting a little worried I wouldn’t find one in time. I came in here on a hunch, and I’m SO glad I did! They had a selection of period appropriate ones, and a range of prices. I was able to pick up a working one, in great shape, for a more than reasonable price. The employees and owner went out of their way to be helpful, showing me each typewriter, allowing me to test the one I liked, and even boxing it up and carrying it out to my truck for me. Very happy, and I definitely plan on coming back!

Tyler is an incredible curator of high grade antiques, mid-century, and vintage goods. Anything from large pieces of furniture to vinyl records - - this guy has everything! The staff are always friendly and helpful. I am a frequent customer of this store, and much of my home is decorated with products I found there. Mad Style is a unique place to visit and I've never seen anything like it. You'll love it there!

If you like mid-century modern, this is the place. Well worth a stop. For the most part, the pricing of the items was fair. I hope they will fix what smells like a sewer line problem. Maybe a dried out floor drain trap.

Have visited the store twice now over the past year- they have a great selection- and the store is really organized- but WOW! The salespeople can’t be bothered to greet you.
