Dr. Blanton is awesome. I love that he greets my dogs first. It’s obvious he loves pets and realizes how important they are to their families. His staff is great also. Always friendly, polite and helpful. I’ve been a client for at least 15 years and never had any issues with anyone in his office. Mak (black) and Buttercup(fawn).

#BEAWARE! This veterinary clinic took our sweet precious Lexi two years ago. She was being treated there after catching a cold during that treacherous winter storm; after multiple visits and 3 rounds of antibiotics she ended up expiring with heart failure which was something they never even treated her for. I don’t have to express just how devastated this left us. They did absolutely nothing to ease our pain when she passed. The Vet himself had no empathy for his part in misdiagnosing our Lexi.

We've recently switched to using this place. They are really great with our pets no doubt. I highly recommend them. Though I got to share our experience today with them. When done with our pets. We were ready to pay. An we weren't allowed to leave the room . The lady that helped us blocked us at the door. Til she could call a cashier to check us out. Now it struck me as , she was implying they think of us as folks that would walk out without paying. It really offended me. I ain't big on dressing up. But that don't mean nothing. Lots of folks that avoid dressing to impress all the time. Please I say never judge a book by its cover. Some folks like me enjoy sharing our experiences on google...we like an enjoy this place cause it's near our home aswell. We're are part of the butler farm community an enjoy using buisness near us. I had heard from a friend at work that Dr. Blanton and his staff are really wonderful people who take care of your pets and have really good bedside manners so I had to see for myself and wow! My friend was right! I’ll will be returning to Green meadow veterinary with all 3 of my babies. I had one baby get car sick and the girl that helped clean it up was wonderful! She took care of the problem quickly! My babies seemed more comfortable and at ease with everyone there! I know what to do so no more car sick next time! Thank y’all so much for your services!

I could write a book on how much I love this place, but I’ll try to keep it short. We brought our dog here for a second opinion and I’m so glad we did, it saved his life. When I called on a Friday afternoon they said they didn’t have any openings until Monday. I struggled to find my words, and the receptionist asked about his symptoms and then asked if we could bring him in that afternoon. He was suffering critically low blood sugar, seizures, and high liver enzymes. Dr. McCabe was professional, no nonsense, to the point type of vet. He also voiced similar concerns I had about the first place we went. We left our dog at Green Meadow for surgery but unfortunately it didn’t work (no fault on the staff here). When we couldn’t find the answer to our problems Dr. McCabe reached out to a specialty vet in Abilene and referred us there. Unfortunately that vet couldn’t get us in quickly so we waited a week. During that time our dog continued to suffer low blood sugar/seizures. Dr. McCabe suggested we keep him there on fluids until we could be seen. The staff and techs were also amazing and attentive. They allowed us to visit and answered any questions we had. It was so hard not having our boy home, but I knew he was in the best place under great care. The night before our appointment they sent him home with his fluids since he had to fast. I had trouble getting his IV connected so I reached out to see if someone could help. Royal FaceTimed me on her own personal phone at 10:30 that night while my husband and I were panicked not able to connect. I MEAN WHAT?!? We were almost in tears we were so thankful for Royal’s time and help getting our boy the fluids he needed. This staff truly goes above and beyond with everything. We will hopefully get our boy back and healthy again, and look forward to continuing care with Dr. McCabe and the team there.

Everyone there is so polite, friendly and helpful. The clinic is ALWAYS so clean! I was there to get annual shots for my cat. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Professional and efffecient. I highly recommend them.

Green Meadow Vet Hospital is amazing. I am a healthcare traveler and my 1 1/2 year old Doberman needed neutering. I read other reviews and went with this Vet. So glad I did. They were amazing. Took extra special care of my baby. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the office, and the friendliness of the staff. Everyone did amazing. I’m so glad I chose this office.

Great service. Great doctor! Great clinic. Every time we bring a pup in , we are seen promptly and we love our vet doctor , he is amazing and funny! Thank you for taking so good care of our babies!

I am so impressed with this clinic! I was skeptical to change vets because you just never know. I’m so glad I changed! I called to get new patient appointment and they could see me that very day. I saw Dr Blanton who explained everything clearly and tried to get to the root of the problem instead of treating symptoms. I knew my dog had allergies but he directed me to change her food, throw out all plug ins in my home and get rid of anything I use on the floors for smell. I did it immediately and for the first time in a year, my dog is playing ball again and acting like she’s frisky. The vet bill was half of what I normally pay!! After a couple of weeks on being on meds my dog still had an ear infection so I emailed the clinic. Within an hour they told me that the dr had prescribed her some medication! Wholly cow! My other vet would have made me take off work and bring my dog in again! This saved me a lot of time and money and I’m so grateful I made the switch! If you want a well ran clinic and an attentive veterinarian, this place is for you! One visit and I’m hooked! Thank you Green Meadow! My dog and my pocketbook appreciate you!!

Techs were great with Dawson. We were in and out quickly for vaccinations and a toenail trim. Reception easily met my request for the latest appointment time during the day. All staff and vets are friendly and professional.

Amazing. My wife's been going there almost 15 years now. Same doctor the entire time. When I go, he treats me like family. And loves my pity. Best vet I've ever been to.

I drive 6 hours to and from austin to take care of my pets care. The staff is kind and well educated. And with their affordable care and payment options I never have to putt off any issues for my fur babies. 💕

Was very frusterated with the care my girl was given. The vet was in and out of the room within 2 minutes. Couldn't stick around long enough to assess my pet. Took her to get a second opinion. Thankfully I did. He infected eye wound was leaking into her eye. Will never return.

Dr. Blanton and his staff have never shown anything but the utmost respect and compassion for myself and my pets. GreenMeadow always gets my dog in quickly for both urgent and non-urgent visits…such a great veterinary practice, and I highly recommend.

I loved everything about Green Meadow Vet Hospital. I recently moved to town and had to transfer my dog as a new patient. The staff at the front desk were so kind and helpful. I was able to email my dogs records over to them upon arriving. They even took the time to call my previous vet to gather an exact date of a vaccine that was administered to make sure everything was accurate. the waiting area was spacious and very clean. Dr. Blanton was very personable and treated my dog like he was his dog. Just so genuinely happy to be with his new patient. He was helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions, big and small. I would highly recommend this vet clinic.

Since moving to San Angelo, I have struggled to find Albert, my cat, a vet clinic that would work with Albert. He has had a rough life and he trusts no one. I cannot brush him and his fur mats into glue-like glops. Dr McCabe knew right away what was needed and made it happen the same day. I am grateful. Thank you so much!

We have relied on the expertise of Drs. McCabe and Blanton to help keep our now-senior calico cat healthy. And the staff members are friendly and accommodating. While Chloe-cat isn't at all thrilled to go to the doctor, she's gotten much better. Dr. McCabe recently helped her with her constant scratching and digestive problem. We are very happy taking her to Green Meadow.

You guys are always SO quick to book an appointment, I never have to worry that my fur babies will not be able to be seen, especially in an emergency. I feel 100% safe in leaving my pets in the care of the staff at Green Meadow and I know that they genuinely care about the services they provide as well as all the animals they see.

These guys are fantastic! Got a call at 5:00 that my dog had escaped and when they brought to the house, she a pretty good cut. I called them at 5:28 and they said the could get me in. I walk in the door at 5:45 and they treated me as if it was any other time of the day. I never felt rushed or felt I was inconveniencing them. They took great care of our dog and were extremely caring.

Everyone I met here was great. They got my dog seen the same day I called for an appointment. The Veterinarian was realistic about my dog's age and condition and did not try to order unnecessary labs or meds. Just addressed her current issue and gave her what she needed to feel better. Thank you for your care; we will be back.

The entire staff was absolutely fantastic. I had an appointment, but they took me in as a walk in. Greatly appreciated 🙏 The Veterinarian provider was Excellent very nice and informative. First impression goes along ways. GREEN MEADOWS VETERINARY will be my primary place to take my pet.
