Dr Brasher and his staff are wonderful. From our first contact with this office, throughout our appointments to completion he and his staff were professional, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Our other experiences in town with another Optomologist was not so pleasant. We were both very pleased and will continue to see Dr. Brasher in the future!! Not one complaint all good total 5 star review!!

Everyone was so welcoming and had the best attitude! Even with insurance issues and all, the receptionist was so patient and kind! The optician was so helpful and sweet in providing quote and not just trying to sell something! The doctor has always been so great at not keeping patients waiting and so quick, yet thorough, with the entire visit! Great staff and place for all my vision needs!

Very professional and friendly in a clean comfortable office setting. In network for my insurance. State of the arc exams and lots of frames to choose from. Very helpful with fitting of frames. My insurance required to have lens done elsewhere. So 1214 days to process. Prescription changed a little so as long as they are made correctly should be perfect. I will definitely return for annual checkups and recommend. Lots of affordable frames.

Be aware of this office, you are forced to buy your glasses here in order to be re-evaluated if your prescription is wrong and they charge you a fee for that re-evaluation. That’s exactly what happened to me. I went elsewhere to purchase glasses because they didn’t have a very big selection and now I am outside of their “umbrella” of care. Of course they don’t tell you that in advance even though I requested my prescription to take with me the day of the exam. Why else would a person take their prescription with them?? Seems like unethical practice and I definitely will not return to this office.

Dr. Gold is the best!! My doctor respects her. My doctor told me that Dr. Gold is one of the most focused Optometrist and really is thorough in her eye exams and she has the latest state of the art medical equipment...not to mention Dr. Gold cares about me and my eye health! ...she is the expert at improving your sight!

This was mine and my moms first visit to Advanced Eye Care and we were both very Pleased. The ladies up front very Friendly and Helpful and we saw Dr Henson, she really took her time and explained everything to us, and we was in and out rather fast compared to our Eye Dr we saw in the Past.

Dr. Gold was very thorough, patient and kind. She accommodated my every need. A very nice young man assisted me with training on contact lense insertion and removal and care of the lenses. He was most excellent as well. Could not be more pleased!

Simply the best!! Dr. Brasher takes time to explain what’s going on and how to get the most from your prescription so it works best how you work. The staff is wonderful, professional and friendly. My daughter just got contacts and they taught her how to use and care for them and plan one week follow up to address any challenges or questions. They explain costs up front and never try to upsell or make you get anything you don’t need. I wish all doctors were like this. They clearly care about care.

1st time in advanced eye care. Love the doctor and staff. I was having trouble getting fitted with glasses correctly. The tech helped me find the right fit. She also helped me get glasses that looked good. I found my new eye care place.

Literally the BEST place for all of your optical needs. Dr. Brasher is the best optometrist hands down! The receptionist are sweet. The technician is quick and the opticians will def get you looking right. Highly recommend.

My appointment was very efficient. Everyone involved with the testing prior to seeing Dr Henson was more than capable. Dr Henson herself treated me like I was the only patient she had. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

This was the BEST experience ever. I do not live in San Angelo, but was traveling there for the weekend. Before I left, I shot metal into my eye and had to go to the ER to have it extracted. The ER doctor said I had to see an Optometrist within 2 days. I panicked. How was I going to see an optometrist while on the road. Advanced Eye Care was the ONLY place that could see me and they got me in as soon as I could be seen. The care was EXCELLENT and prompt. I would highly recommend. If I lived here, I would definitely use their services.

I would recommend this eye place to everyone needing eye care. Advanced goes above and beyond for their customers. One of their eye technicians, he's a man, is one of the best technicians I have ever had help me with my glasses. He tells you the truth if the glasses look good or if they don't. He helps you pick out the right glasses that will go with your face and the color you just can't beat him. So yes I would recommend this place 100%

Friendly staff all the way through the office. They helped me understand my insurance, all the costs associated, etc. even while i had to refer information over the phone. The frames are a little pricey but they are name brand and very nice. The ordering service for the contacts is easy and convenient. Thank you so much for the great visit!

Dr Gold is the only OD who prescribes lenses I can actually see out of. She is great! Will continue to travel to for appts. Your staff is courteous and knowledgeable.

I had a pretty good experience here. Dr was friendly. Staff was friendly enough. Every time I have gone they are super busy. the receptionists seem kind of put out when talking to them. The actual appointment was very quick and was just told to look here, do this, do that, etc. and nothing was really explained to me. Women’s Eye glass selection area is on the smaller side and cramped feeling when trying to look around for glasses. I received my glasses today and am pleased with them.

This is the second time I've gone to see them and they are extremely professional and provide great customer service. Dr Karen Henson my optometrist is phenomenal!

Wonderful place. No waiting, was ready for me at my appointment time. My exam was easy and straightforward. However, my wife has very bad eyesight and Dr. Brasher did many tests and spent a lot of time with her. He explained in depth what was going on and we both left feeling so much better knowing what has been going on all this time. Such a great experience.

Been going here for the past 10-12 years. Always great service and a wonderful selection of frames. I always ask for help choosing and am never disappointed! I absolutely adored the ladies in the office. Everyone was so friendly, answered all my questions, and seemed to care about my eye health. We had a very short wait time, and was not rushed out the door. I tried on almost every pair of glasses they had before making a decision. We have found our new home for eye care!

Dr Brasher is THE BEST. He is current on eye medicine. He's corrected issues that my daughter had in one eye that other doctors could not. And Misty is the sweetest and BEST. She knows exactly what frames fit on face shapes. Goes above and beyond to make sure the patient is satisfied. We moved away to San Antonio but we will continue to travel back to San Angelo for the excellent care and service that Dr Brasher and his staff provide.

The staff is very friendly! I had a late appointment and as closing time neared (as in mere minutes), they were all still so cheerful and friendly. The equipment is incredibly current as well. Compared to other eye doctor visits, their testing equipment was painless. I HIGHLY recommend Advanced Eye Care for sure.

Today I had a thorough eye exam for glasses and contacts. Staff was kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Ladies in the office had already contacted my insurance and had all figures when I walked in. Doctor was friendly and patient. He answered all my questions. He updated my contacts to the 21st century!😂 And their system is so efficient the contacts will be mailed directly to me so I don’t have to make an extra trip to their office just to pick up contacts.
