This park has been recently renovated and reopened in June 2022 with new park equipment. This is my kiddos favorite park in San Angelo. I love it too. There are shade trees to shade parts of the park from the blazing Texas summer sun. The restrooms are some of the nicest park restrooms that I have been in. They are always clean. There is a sand pit, an exercise area, a pavilion with picnic tables and park equipment for all ages. There are two different walking trails that circle this park. One of them is a shorter trail that circles the actual park play equipment. This is the trail I will walk while my kiddo are playing because I can see them the whole time and I am able to stay close. The other trail is longer and goes around the park and the open field that is connected to the park. This park is a five star park for sure and I definitely recommend visiting. There is a Little Library at the Park box to trade, take and/or leave books. The only drawback about the little library box is that the sprinklers hit it directly and the books inside get wet and do grow mold and have to be tossed in the trash. I have reported this issue twice and even informed a park employee about this but nothing has been done to correct the issue. With all the visitors that this park gets it would be nice if this was a functional library box.

We LOVE this park! It is so good for kids. There’s several playgrounds in the same space, there’s a sand pit with little diggers, a see saw and some great swings. There’s even a pavilion with a few tables to eat lunch at. This is one of our favorite parks here in San Angelo. Plus you can walk around the park on a sidewalk! It’s also shaded so it’s nice for the kiddos.

Nice hometown park that is full of beautiful walking trails in addition to the typical park activities for the kids, making it a great place for families to spend outside time together. Very clean and equipment has been kept up well. During my last visit I even noticed that some previous uneven areas under the swings had been repaired. Parties can be held here as well. This park is also ADA accessible, making it a place where people of all abilities can have fun.

From what i saw at this park, am made to believe that the playground was constructed before parks like kirby park or kids kingdom or Unidad park is used rather often. Either way i dont think i will return. I am sure Unidad was beautiful when it was first constructed, i believe now that it is just over used or not maintained. Unidad also has a huge open field for baseball, soccer practices. It had a nice paved trail as well which is cool.

Very nicely remodeled. My son age 7 seemed to love the merri-go-round and the sliders. We had a great time thankfully under the shaded pavilion. He also loves walking the giant maze painted on the slab. I did t get to check out the bathrooms but this park is definitely a family favorite!! Oh and watch for the ground hogs! Sneaky lil devils everywhere! So cute!

Great place to ride bikes and play catch with the family. Several kids were here driving remote controlled cars or riding hoverboards. Lots of families brought their dogs. Just a really great place to be outside and have room to be creative.

Great park! Lots to do for all ages. The red arroyo trail is next to it along with the dog park close by!

This was a great park. It was fun for my 2 year old all the way up to my 15 year old. Plenty of benches, lots of toddler safe things to play on. Bring your basketball and sand toys. There is so much to do here. Bathrooms with flushing toilets and a sink. Bring your own soap or hand sanitizer though. We stayed for 5 hours and the kids still didn't wanna leave. We even came back the next day. The ground squirrels were fun to watch....and feed. They will come up to you and beg like a little puppy. We had so much fun. Plenty of parking as well

Amazing park for kids! This park has extra “rides” I have never seen before such as extra swings, great slides, lots of imaginative play areas. Great for younger kids as well.
