The wind was blowing but nice temperature. The cat fish were jumping and it was relaxing! 😌

The river walk runs through the heart of downtown San Angelo and is extremely special and fun. There is plenty to do along the well maintained trail/path. It’s good for running, walking, and biking. Leashed dogs are welcome. There is a playground, skate park, sand volleyball court, public golf course, and plenty of places to jump around along the way. Frequent restroom opportunities, water fountains, and a place to air up your bike. Lots of pretty art installations to look at along the way. Park by the Twisted Root to finish your walk off with a great burger over looking the water.

There is a peaceful and calming feeling to walk along the Concho River. I walk along the path daily and enjoy the sites along the way.

I've been coming to this park since I moved here back in 2008. I love it, it brings back great memories. People change, they grow old, get married, move away... but the beauty of nature stays and perseveres. *sigh* Oh to be chased by a goose once again

Wonderful beautiful and serene . All words you could use to describe this place. The kids park is the bomb but is very big so if you have more than one child bring back up with you. It's a huge wooden play ground n area. Warning there is a sandbox and it's generally pretty nasty cause the Ferrell cats pee in it. The walk down by the river is amazing. Always ducks in the water. Very nice for picture taking with all the stone work and beatutiful scenery.

This is always a nice place to walk, ride your bike, or just sit and watch the birds. If you don't want to walk too far from your vehicle, park next to Kid's Kingdom or the Visitor Center and walk a loop over the foot bridges. There are some good restaurants and fun shops nearby and the city puts up lights for the holidays. It's a safe area as long as you go during the day and don't wander too far into town.
