I've visited Pulp Coffee roasters twice. Their espresso is delicious! I parked right at the front door. It has a cool whiskey distillery vibe, which I really love. The owner James is so friendly and he has the best baristas. I appreciate James so much for taking time to walk my husband through the coffee production and answering all his questions about how the machines work. You can book a group tasting experience on their website. I love this coffee spot so much.

Pulp Coffee has truly captured my heart and taste buds. From the very first sip, it's evident that they've mastered the art of crafting exceptional coffee. But it's not just about the coffee; it's the whole experience that keeps me coming back for more. First and foremost, the people at Pulp are outstanding. They exude warmth and authenticity that's often missing in the coffee world. Their dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere is palpable, making each visit feel like catching up with old friends. It's a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. Now, let's talk about the coffee. Pulp's brews are nothing short of extraordinary. The depth of flavor and aroma in every cup is a testament to their meticulous sourcing and roasting processes. It's coffee that's both comforting and adventurous, with a rich, smooth texture that dances on your palate. What sets Pulp apart is their dedication to authenticity. From the carefully chosen beans to the brewing techniques, they remain true to the essence of coffee. It's evident in every detail, whether it's the perfectly brewed espresso or the delicate latte art. In a world of coffee chains and generic experiences, Pulp stands out as a true gem. It's not just a coffee brand; it's a haven for coffee lovers who appreciate genuine passion, unbeatable customer service, and a coffee experience that's nothing short of extraordinary. Pulp Coffee has my unwavering loyalty, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who craves more than just a caffeine fix.

What an amazing surprise to discover this gem! We met an owner and his wife roasting coffee. Our coffee has been served with a shot of sparkling water - they were talking my language as I used own a gourmet coffee shop in NYC. Saved this place for me to come back in the future

If you’re a coffee lover, DEFINITELY make it a point to check this place out
and even if you’re not but like to drink coffee, CHECK IT OUT! They roast their own coffee and the place is so neat! You can tell these people love what they do and take pride in their craft. We got to sample a cold and hot brew while we waited for our americanos. Ended up leaving with 3 bags of coffee 😋 we’ll be back to take a class or two and we’ll be getting our coffee beans from here from now on!

My new favorite coffee shop in town!! These people know coffee and love to share their knowledge. Incredibly friendly service that included a tour of the warehouse it’s located in. Don’t be deterred from the imposing exterior or lack of seating (they’re working on creating more sit down space). I don’t like most cold brew, but this was easily the best cold brew I’ve ever tried! Delicate yet intricate flavors that gave me the biggest caffeine buzz I’ve had in years. Definitely worth visiting!!

This has got to be the best coffee I have tried in a while. Ordered a fresh bag by mail and it got delivered super fast and without hassles. The package even included a couple samples of tea which were just as delicious! Ordered the "Trinity Blend" and this particular blend has a natural sweetness to it, so you dont even have to add sugar and brewing a cup makes my whole apartment smell amazing. 10/10 will be ordering again

First time here for the coffee crawl, the experience was so lovely. The sweetest gentleman assisted me and my sister. We were able to learn about their process, their company, possible future classes, and sample a few of their different brews. For sure will be going back, especially for the Columbia Gesha beans 10/10 would recommend. I'd say the Gesha is really good for those who don't normally drink coffee too.

Dropped by on a whim today and had, bar none, the best coffee experience of my life (and it really was an experience.) Liza was so kind and made us two deconstructed lattes. This was a perfect introduction to the artistry that goes into the coffee they roast. The espresso was absolutely phenomenal. I honestly don’t have words to explain the way that it differed from everything I’ve ever tasted, but as an analogy, it would be like going from store brand ground beef to the best Japanese Waygu prime cut. This espresso was so good. The milk they use for their Latte is ridiculously good too. James and Liza, thank you for such a great experience, for your kind and welcoming nature, and for sharing your artistry with us! We will be back.

This is some of the best coffee I have ever tasted! The coffee tasting experience is just incredible. James and his wife are doing amazing things on the Eastside and in San Antonio as a whole. The story telling from beginning to end is just wonderful. Looking forward to having a a cup of coffee.

Super cool place and amazing coffee! It’s more of a stop and go place, not a whole lot of room for a crowd, seats at a long bar table and couch. Staff is super friendly and excited to talk about coffee with you, great chill environment

I always, ALWAYS go to Pulp whenever I am in San Antonio. I’ve had the best cups and beans I’ve had in my life from Pulp. James and Gabe are very welcoming and friendly, not to mention very informative!!

Amazing coffee shop! Not only they'll sell you the best espresso in town and some delicious cold brew but also they'll answer all of your questions (because they know everything about coffee*_*). And don't forget to buy a bag of fresh roasted beans. You will not regret! (and coffee taster's flavor wheel sticker is đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„)
