Very quiet and peaceful, room are clean and have a good amount of space. They do have different floor plans available and some are bigger then the others. Bathrooms were very nice, clean and open.

We actually stayed in the Sam Houston House but is all apart of the distinguished visitors houses. Very cool history to these buildings. I am glad they were repurposed.

What an amazing stay. The cleanest place, delicious continental breakfast and very comfortable rooms with lots of personality and history around. Close from all the hot spots in San Antonio. Loved my time here.

My family was able to grab a room for a night while passing through, and our stay was absolutely amazing! The two bedroom suite was huge, and very clean. The front desk desk receptionist was very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. I highly recommend staying with IHG! When we pass through again, we'll being staying with IHG again!

This IHG DVQ operation should be the model for all of DoD - the best I have seen. Was bumped from Foulois House to Sam Houston House - but can't imagine Foulois being any better. Maintenance, staff, location , attention to detail were all outstanding. If in San Antonio again, I will stay here.

Look for the awning, parking is around the back on a one way street. Must carry bags around to the front. Brass sign in front of main doors directing you to the appropriate entrance for your suite. Building is divided into 3 separate entrances.

Large living area, quiet surroundings, porch with plenty of seating, friendly staff. Small refridgerator with inadequate cooling; A/C settings complicated-need to program it for comfort. Excellent dining area, wi-fi, free laundry and though not on site, access to Business Center and Gym at the main IHG Hotel-Candlewood Suites.

The Foulois House is a VIP Hotel at Fort Sam Houston and it's an outstanding part of IHG hotel group.
