Villa Tesoros is so cool. Loved that store. They had some stylish great quality clothing items. I wish I hadn't bought so much elsewhere first because I wasn't able to get anything as it wouldn't have fit in my suitcase 😩 I did pick up some nice boho chic earrings from the neighboring art gallery though.

The hubs and I had a few moments to walk the city and stumbled upon the La Villita Historic Village. It's a cute collection of shops and eateries. We didn't leave with anything but all the shop owners were cordial and open to sharing more about their art.

What a quaint little place! Only wish stores stayed open later, it was around 5pm and everything was closing. Will return to check it out during the day. Everything looks very nice, a great spot for photos

Small and quaint cluster of shops. Some are pretty unique and make their products on site. I found a couple of good bargains and an awesome margarita place!

Been a while since I've seen a full Artisan Theater! No seats in the traditional sense, large steps with grass for padding. Hot and fun for everyone, including some restaurants and galleries to shop and eat at.

Located on the southern bank of the famed San Antonio River Walk, La Villita now occupies one artsy square block in the heart of downtown San Antonio. The Artisan village is listed on the U.S. government's National Register of Historic Places, featuring architectural styles that range from adobe structures, to early Victorian and Texas vernacular limestone buildings. Today, La Villita is a treasured Artisan and Entrepreneur district with over 25 shops and galleries that showcase local handmade goods and home to over 200 events a year.

Nice area to stroll through. Not very big, but have some small shops and a few eateries. It also leads you to the River Walk to see the historic old theater. All the buildings are Hacienda-style which are very unique. Also, we were able find 5.00 all day parking during the weekday around La Villita areas. (The village has a entrance to the Riverwalk). 👍

This location is a hidden gem. We watch people walk by it all the time. Do yourself a favor, and enter La Villita. Have a bite to eat at La Villita Cafe - 5 stars, the local shops are perfect to pick up gifts!

Lots of little stores with beautiful arts and crafts. We where able to visit during the Day of The Dead weekend and enjoyed all the traditional decorations and costumes. Can't wait to come back and keep exploring those stores!

I'd been avoiding this place because it gets really crowded with tourists from the river walk in the late afternoon and early evening. Today I stopped in right after they opened. I had a pleasant browse through a collection of locally made art and some to the artists. Afterward, I had brunch on the patio.

This is stage where they shot Ms Congeniality. Rich in history and great photo opportunities. If you’re visiting downtown San Antonio, this is a must visit for you. We love visiting this place when we’re visiting downtown. So much to see and experience. Downtown San Antonio has a lot to offer, arts, diversity, rich culture and most of all great food selections.

What a marvelous and quaint place seeping in history. This is the oldest part of San Antonia. The original Adobe huts from 300 years ago were demolished in the early 1800s and brick buildings were built. Now the small community a half mile from the Alamo has turned into a craft and art area. Little shops and eateries abound. Located on the Riverwalk it is a treat to visit. Support the local artisans and take home some original art and crafts.

Great local spot, unfortunately nothing was open yet except a little restaurant. It was 9am and nothing is open until 11am. But the place we did find was fabulous. We had coffee and breakfast burritos. the service was great the food and coffee was great! I would definitely recommend stopping here. I wish I had gotten the name of this place.

Right in the heart of the most visited part of San Antonio. But it's a great place to slow down if the Riverwalk has overwhelmed you. Great for kids and lots of restaurants. But take my advice and go to La Villita Cafe. Best service. Best food. Extremely clean.

Disappointed as many of the shops aren't open-to bad as it's a cute area. Maybe time of the year, but we were there mid September and no one was there day or evening.

La Villita is the place to step back into history while checking out artisan boutiques and some fine dining and drinks. Located on the Riverwalk beside the legendary Palacio Del Rio.

I went for a walk in La Villita during dia de los muertos when the city was hosting a Spiritlandia themed event. The decor was beautiful but I heard the parade was not planned well.

Step into a captivating journey through time at this enchanting historical village nestled within walking distance of the serene river walk. Immerse yourself in its mesmerizing charm as you stroll along the cobblestone streets, lined with quaint small shops and a handful of delightful restaurants.

What is today an arts village tells a rich history of San Antonio’s first neighborhood. La Villita is a confluence of culture derived from its early inhabitants. Definitely recommend a visit!!
