Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. Did not stay but came in to look around after eating in the building. Beautiful! Would recommend anyone visiting the Pearl to take a look inside the hotel. The library especially was absolutely beautiful! Lots to see even just in the lobby.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. We stayed here in January 2022 and came back to stay in June 2022. All of their staff are just amazingly attentive, cheerful, kind, and professional. The room was so clean, spotless, spacious, and elegant yet modern. Amenities were excellent. The coffee they serve by Merritt Coffee Hotel Emma blend is excellent. The in-room dining was from the restaurant called Supper and it was exquisite. The seasonal produce they choose for each meal was well presented and tasty. The property smells so good from the moment you enter and it is so comforting. The signature welcome drink was unique and excellent. The rooftop pool was well maintained and very nice. I would love to stay at the Hotel Emma again real soon!!

We stayed at Hotel Emma in early April. It was by far our favorite hotel on our two week tour of Texas. The architecture is stunning. Amazing attention to detail and preservation. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and efficient. The room was great. We had a balcony with comfy furniture. Loved the tile in the bathroom. We took advantage of the hotel's river tour and very much enjoyed it. Some might say it's not super close to the action, but we actually appreciated not being in the thick of things.

Honestly. The best hotel I have stayed in. My husband stayed for two nights after our wedding and we were so impressed. The staff is top notch and accommodating. We had the king room with the balcony overlooking the river walk. What a treat. The beds are so comfortable. The shower is large and has a bench. I was craving biscuits and though not usually on the menu- it was a scratch-made for me with preserves. All of the staff that assisted us seemed genuine. Felt like visiting family you didn’t know you had. Thanks Hotel Emma.

Amazing experience! Rooms were so thoughtfully decorated, great views, bathrooms were amazing! Such a old school, historic look and feel. Complimentary water, soda and snacks (great touch). Dining options were great and very tasty. Ambiance was at another level. They have done a fantastic job in keeping the old and historic feel with modern luxury. This location is right next to the Same Antonio river walk. Several dining options just outside in the court. Service was top notch! Great place for a business meeting, a romantic getaway and more. Highly recommended! The building has great historical significance and the story is well displayed in the lobby.

I have stayed in some extremely nice hotels all over the world, and the experience you get at Hotel Emma might be the best. You absolutely get what you pay for here. The service is next level - from the valet to the front desk to the concierge and beyond. The attention to detail at this hotel is outstanding. From the fresh fragrance in the air when you walk in to all the custom made furniture and layout of this former brewery provides a unique and memorable experience. The rooms are extremely comfortable and you really feel like you're staying in an upscale house versus a hotel. Another great bonus - the area this hotel is in, The Pearl District. The hotel itself has great food and store options, but all you have to do is step out the front door to discover even more restaurants and shops to choose from. Our only regret is that we can't stay longer. We look forward to returning- thank you for the memories.

What a gem of a place! This felt like a magical escape to another time and place. The hotel is beautiful and upscale, but also comfortable and inviting; a rare combination in my experience.. Literally each staff person I encountered was gracious, friendly and genuinely helpful. I’m grateful to know this type of experience still exists. The attention to detail, warm ambiance, and stellar service make this an exceptional find in San Antonio.

The hotel has a stunning historic interior. It feels like you are transported through time, and there is so much amazing detail to admire. There is a lot of great seating for conversation, and cocktails are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for a date or if you are looking for an upscale place to grab drinks with a friend.

Absolutely perfect stay. The history behind the location is fascinating, and the service the hotel provides is out of this world. They really did think of everything when it comes to making the stay at Hotel Emma special. I have never experienced the level of care they provided. Literally could not have gone better.

We had the best time staying at the Hotel Emma! From the moment we walked in, service was impeccable. Each staff member we encountered interacted with genuine friendliness and personality. The bell person gave us an entertaining tour, pointing out the highlights of this beautiful historic building. I traveled with two young children who quickly made a mess of our room. The housekeeper went above and beyond during turn-down service, taking special care with the many toys we brought. They even sent a special snack of cookies and milk for the kiddos. Hotel Emma understands customer service. We can't wait to come back!

As a physician I have stayed at “5 star” properties all over the US as a student , and lecturer. This hotel is simply the nicest hotel we have ever stayed as a guest. The property is in a really nostalgic area in San Antonio. The hotel and staff would be 5 star anywhere in the world. If you want to stay in a phenomenal hotel -this is worth the time and money. The history is amazing and every staff you meet is eager to share it. They went out of the way to make my grandkids welcome . Staying at the Hotel Emma is a vacation by itself -seeing the rest of San Antonio is optional :)

This place always exceeds our expectations. They have one of the very best hand crafted bloody Mary’s on the planet. Excellent service provided by Angel and David in the tavern. Angel was so friendly and personable! Congratulations to the Emma—such a unique experience—well done! We’ll be back for sure.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Every detail is thought out and gorgeous, from the bathroom faucets to the complimentary snacks and drinks. The staff is attentive and friendly, always ready to help or accommodate. It's a little pricey but definitely deserves all the awards it receives.

My wife and I love the Emma, we visit at least twice a year. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff have to be some of the most pleasant and attentive we've ever encountered in all our travels - simply superb. Emma's restaurant, Supper, is solid - yummy unpretentious food. And the bar is one of the best in the country; amazing industrial decor and knowledgeable bartenders (plus the garlic peanuts are always good!) Emma is great launching pad for exploring the rest of San Antonio; the Riverwalk is within walking distance (a very pleasant walk). Cozy luxury.

The pub where we were was stunning. The room is huge and industrial but nevertheless cozy due to the compartmentalization of the space and the addition of pieces of the large steam machinery of the brewery. It's audible. Drinks took a while to arrive; for a Friday night, they seem understaffed. However, the quality was superb, so I would definitely return and, in light of the experience, consider staying at the hotel. I wish this hotel was in a little bit better location with less traffic and a quieter atmosphere. As I said, we were in the bar, which is stunning. The area, which is decorated with components of the brewery's massive steam gear, is vast and industrial, but cozy due to compartmentalization. It's quite audible. The beverages took a while to arrive because they appeared to be understaffed for a Friday night. However, the quality was fantastic, and I would return and possibly consider staying at the hotel based on my experience.

If I could give this place six…no seven…no ten stars I would. Hotel Emma is everything you want in a hotel. Amazing customer service, wonderfully kind and lovely staff, beautiful rooms, great amenities, and a unique experience you’ll find no where else. Even the coffee was amazing. The hotel is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed to be peaceful and intriguing. The mix of historic old and modern new is simply perfect. My only critique is that hotel Emma has raised the bar so incredibly high that every hotel we’ll stay out will have trouble even coming close. Do yourself a favor and go stay here, immerse yourself in the rich culture and people of Hotel Emma. We simply can’t wait to go back.

What a gem! We spent the weekend in San Antonio and ended it Hotel Emma. It’s located in the renovated The Pearl Brewery area, which is filled with great restaurants (we didn’t really go into the stores, but there are plenty of those). The hotel itself is full of history and charming nooks — they did a terrific job keeping lots of the original elements so you can really imagine what it used to be like (and they have a little hallway with a history of the brewery/Emma(s), which was interesting). Even if you aren’t staying at the hotel, worth a stop in for a bite to eat/drink.

The staff overall from servers, bartenders, front desk and ballroom staff. Valerie gave me and my fiancé a tour of the ballroom she was so sweet and knowledgeable of the hotel and it’s history. The bartender Steven and the lady bartender were the BEST! Cocktails were amazing and service was impeccable. Enjoyed everything about Hotel Emma. Thank you

Best hotel ever. It’s unique, accessible, has an amazing atmosphere, and no other hotel at any price seems to have an entire staff that is as dedicated to providing a great experience as this hotel. My wife and I have been here four times and will keep coming back.

We stayed her in late September 2022 and had a great experience! What a beautiful hotel and helpful staff. Restaurant and bars are top notch too. So much going on in and around the property since it is part of the Pearl District.

For never staying the night I love this hotel it's beautiful it's Rich it's vintage it's a throwback, the look of the hotel alone is breathtaking. I, visit Hotel Emma to relax and just enjoy myself, even though not even staying the night, I enjoy just entering the hotel and sitting in the lobby area. Someday I'll stay one night here too and really experience what this hotel is like. The restaurant is beautiful, the lobby is amazing looking, and the bar is a during probation era, the library and the back store there's a store like a very old 1940s looking store like. There's so much at this hotel, that I have not seen any other hotel.

We absolutely love Hotel Emma! It is a very unique experience from the minute you arrive. The services and amenities offered are exceptional, far above any other hotel in the state of Texas. This is our new favorite hotel in Texas and the only place we will ever stay when visiting San Antonio!

While in San Antonio on business a local friend told me I had to go to Hotel Emma for a drink. I had a lovely lunch, a White Whiskey old-fashioned, then wandered around the gorgeous lobby and bar area. The staff was amazingly friendly and then I met Sam in the gift shop - Curio - she's an amazing ambassador for the hotel. She told me about the wonderful history of Miss Emma and her accomplishments. I bought a candle and room spray to remember this great experience .

My family and I were told to check out the hotel. We did not stay a night in the hotel, but we received the best welcome from Adam. He gave us history about the hotel and ensured we were taken care of even though we were not overnight guests! What a positive experience. While searching for an item, one of the store clerks helped us locate what I was looking for. It was above and beyond service. Next time we visit San Antonio, we will stay at Hotel Emma in the beautiful Pearl District.

Conveniently located at the Pearl. Where shopping and food make a great day with family and friends. Grabbed a quick breakfast and coffee. It was delicious and relaxing and enjoying the cool morning air right outside on their patio. I visited their gift shops too. Wonderful unique things to see and buy if you are looking for someone special.

Went to Hotel Emma for a wedding. The venue was beautiful, breath taking! The service was outstanding! Valerie + her team in catering were exceptional! The drinks and mocktails were DELICIOUS! Every employee seemed happy to be of service to accomodate each guest. The bar & lobby were open late so we could continue the after party. Best wedding we've ever been to!

First time I've been to this bar and was very impressed. For a girl bar it's definitely worth just going here to drink. The atmosphere was great and so were the staff. The place was pretty busy eventhough it wasn't a stand alone place. So obviously the word is out on it. If only the prices were a little cheaper it would've been perfect but it was a cocktail bar so I can't complain too much. Had a great night here
