I
will
never
spend
money
at
this
establishment.
Although
I
am
a
fan
of
fair
trade
and
ethically
sourced
goods
and
buy
them
at
every
opportunity,
I
am
NOT
a
fan
of
retailers
who
are
discriminatory.
On
3
separate
occasions,
I
have
walked
into
the
store
and
have
been
completely
ignored
by
the
staff
and/or
the
owner.
I
find
it
ironic
that
this
retailer
carries
goods
from
countries
inhabited
by
Black
and
Brown
people,
but
when
those
same
demographics
enter
their
establishment
we
are
completely
ignored.
Yesterday,
I
decided
to
give
them
one
last
opportunity
to
provide
a
modicum
of
decent
customer
service
and
they
failed.
I
intended
to
purchase
some
Haitian
art
because
it
is
a
part
of
my
cultural
identity.
Every
single
person
shopping
was
greeted
upon
entering
the
store.
I
was
not.
Not
only
was
I
ignored
completely
by
the
salesperson....
the
owner
(or
one
of
the
owners)
who
was
behind
the
counter
literally
glanced
up
from
the
paperwork
she
was
doing,
looked
me
up
and
down
from
head
to
toe,
and
returned
to
work
without
so
much
as
a
Hi.
It
was
very
deliberate.
Before
becoming
an
entrepreneur
I
worked
in
luxury
retail
for
20
years.
The
very
LEAST
of
the
things
you
can
do
to
service
and
accommodate
potential
clientele
is
to
acknowledge
them
when
they
enter
your
establishment.
There
are
PLENTY
of
and
Black
and
Brown
makers
in
San
Antonio.
In
Texas.
And
around
the
world.
Support
them
by
either
buying
from
them
directly
or
finding
another
retailer.
Zero
stars.
Do
not
recommend.
