Chres (Christian?) cut my hair today, with a great skin fade to back and sides. He was very courteous and professional, and understood my needs. It is always difficult to have your hair cut by a different barber when on holiday, but I was totally happy with my experience. I highly recommend this young man and the salon. I had a great experience at Ianco Peluqueros Yumbo Maspalomas. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff who made me feel instantly welcome. The quality of the haircut and wash was exceptional, leaving me very happy. The ability to book an appointment on the same day was a nice surprise. One of the best hairdressers I ever visited! Super nice and friendly staff and professional service for a very reasonable price! Definitely recommend this place, you might need to book an appointment a few hours in advance but that depends how busy it gets. I also recommend having a picture of yourself with a hairstyle you like, even though the staff speaks good English but it always makes things easier :)

If your on holiday in Gran Canaria and just like me would like a change of hairstyle, even add colour or some highlights, something you never tried before, I can honestly say to you without doubt, do not think twice, book here with Chris and friend, let it be decided for you what style will suit you!! and if you should add colour and highlights, they will give you so much attention of expertise and advice, my fiancé and friends with us could not believe the change Chris has given me, I absolutely love what he did for me, made me 10 years younger and 5!!! different ways to style my hair, I was so happy with the result. Being in the music and entertainment business myself, I always wondered would highlights suit my hair type and style, thinking my hair was a lost cause and put up with it well truth be told there was really no proper style until now, So not alone did Chris give me a change but also my Fiancé and one of our friends, so all very happy indeed, while your here being pampered, you will also be offered tea or coffee and chocolate biscuits, ask for the Italian coffee, it's to die for!!! Very friendly staff and clean place. But haircut was not super great. Left some hair on the sides and shape is not very symmetric.

I booked a haircut and a wash. The barber was a young boy and was cutting my hair like a trainee. In the beginning I said we should wash my hair first because it's very dirty, barbor said doesn't matter and he will wash it AFTER haircut? How to handle dirty hair (wax, sea water) and make a good and smart haircut?? I wanted to make shorter sides and neck and on top of head cut the hair equally if there are different lenght of hair. He didn't even go through the top of my head to see is there any unequal hair lenght or not. Cutting work was very unstable and he pulled my neck hair multiple times with scissors. I wonder do he know how to use scissors properly or he just do fade haircuts with a machine? After haircut I went home to wash my hair and noticed it's totally unequally cut from my neck. You don't see those boys at work in the pictures of the place, I wonder why... Very unprofessional result.

Cosy barber shop. Really clean cut. Appointment required. If you are waiting on someone else, you get to relax in a sofa. I've been offered a coffee and some chocolates. Nice touch.
