Me and my partner went on a Tuesday in June, turned up just after 10 expecting huge queues and needing to pay extra for fast track tickets but were suprised to find the park fairly quiet. The rides were brilliant, good mix of fast and drops. Managed to get on every ride without waiting more than 10 minutes which for a peak summer time I don’t think is bad at all. Food is on the expensive side, especially if you order a meal so we just ordered chips. Food is from what we had good quality! Numerous places to order on site. If you take the bus expect to either wait until 15:00 or have to pay for a taxi back (which was really cheap back to our hotel). Not sure if it’s always like this but the buses stopped running there in the afternoon. All round a really good water park and we really enjoyed our time there!
Decided to visit on the last day of our holiday which happened to be a Sunday. There wasn't huge crowds of people so the wait for slides and our food was minimum which was ideal. The food is pretty expensive but that's to be expected at touristy places like this and the portion sizes and food quality is decent so there's not much to complain about in that sense - you always expect to pay those prices. You can however take your own if you'd rather so again, not much to complain about. The floor is brutal to walk on barefoot (heat and texture wise) so definitely take some kind of shoe that you can get wet and keep them on if you can! There's a good selection of slides to keep you busy and we had a great day. The lockers are 7 euros and again, we expected to pay that price for a popular tourist spot. We opted to pay an additional 10 euros for a waterproof phone case which is well worth it to keep not only your phone (great opportunity for photos) but also things like your locker ticket (you get a locker ticket which has your locker number and the pin to get in the locker) so you definitely don't want to risk getting it wet! Toilets are nice & clean and spaced out well throughout the park so you never have to walk far. Overall, you expect to pay the tourist price for the tourist attraction but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend it to anyone else who wants a fun day out! Buses are very simple and cheap to get there - the bus stop is outside the water park so you can't miss it!
We had a really good day out. Feb half term and I was nervous due to all the mixed reviews. The park wasn’t busy, they didn’t have a fast track system in place. We never queued for more than a few minutes and the rides are great actually. Some real adrenaline filled ones ! It’s no Siam Park, it is much much smaller. And you don’t go places like this for a cheap day out. We didn’t mind the €7 for locker €5 to sun lounge or €7 for a plate of chips. It is to be expected. We had a really great few hours lovely memories made. Would be unpleasant if really busy whenever peak season is but then that is true of anywhere
We were lucky to visit the Aqualand Maspalomas yesterday with 4 adults and 2 children. The weather was sunny and warm during the day. Arrived at 10'clock for the opening. We had plenty of carpark places to choose from. We used 2 sunbeds as our "base" at the middle of the park, payed 5 euros for each, but totally worth it. There was no queue at all by the attractions, and my smallest one who is 125 cm, was allowed to try most of the slides, even the rough ones. The pools and areas were sparkling tidy and the staff were friendly. We had our packed food, soo I have no experience of restaurant there. Overall, we had a very good day till closing (17:00). Highly recommended with children of any age group.⭐
A good couple of hours out, but all in all there just wasn't a lot to do to justify the price of admission - not with locker use, sun beds etc costing extra. The average adult is looking at around €40+ for 2 hours entertainment which as a tourist is not a lot compared to the many other excursions on the island. Food is around €17 a burger meal or pizza. Personally, glad I went as it was my first trip to a water park and I'd now like to go to another. However after riding everything suitable for adults, nothing particularly stood out or had massive wow factor. I'd say its okay, wirth doing if you're bored, but there's better activities if you look
After 36 euros for entrance per person, we paid 5 euros for parking, another 5 euros for sunbed, 7 euros for looker and 10 euros for one beer...if you breathe inside you have to pay. Very expensive everything. The 3 stars are for staff and plenty of slides for toddlers. All supervised.
Great place for fun for adults and children. Lots of cool attractions, although you have to wait a bit in line for some slides, but overall I really recommend this place. Buy tickets together with Zoo.
This was our first visit to Aqualand, purchased tickets online in advance, chose the flexi ticket which essentially allows you just to turn up on any day to use your tickets. This was handy and at the time the same price as a standard ticket. First recommendation is buy tickets in advance online, on arrival you can skip beyond the queue to access via the turnstiles saving a little time on entry. Parking was available out front as we had a hire car and was €5 for the day. The entry price to the park is pretty expensive for a family of 4 we paid £122 l, which I understand as the costs to run a park like this must be high but still pricey. The overall experience of the park was ok, for first timers - top ropes 1/ most of the rides you need to collect an inflated tube for the ride at the bottom Of the ride before making your way up to the top of the hill. 2/ take flip flops and wear them while walking from ride to ride the ground gets very hot and don’t worry there are places to leave them at the ride 3 / lockers are available for a fee (€8 euros if I remember correctly) 4/ Sun loungers are available for a fee (€5 each) 5/ food is plentiful around the park without far to walk but is on the expensive side (€60 for pizza, chicken burger and chips , hot dog and chips and 4 drinks) 6/ height restrictions- almost all slides minimum height is 1.2m. Some of the kids rides have maximum height of 1.4m 7/ take your own drinks or cooler if you have one, many of the locals did The park overall was very clean and nicely kept, lazy river, wave pool and some good slides. The life guards were for me too slow sending people down some slides and when you have a lot of people I think they could work faster. They were also awkward in letting me have phone in my zipped pocket on a slide because it wasn’t wrapped in there chargeable waterproof bag €10)! Would I go again, yes but it did feel like you would have had to spend another £100-£150 to get the full experience. We had a great time though so I would say definitely give it a visit, take your own food and probably pay for the fast passes as at least then you’ll get on loads of slides all day long without the queues
Me and my friend cane here over our holiday in Gran Canaria a couple of months ago and I am really glad that we visited. This water park was great and maybe one of my favourite activities of the trip. The slides were very fun, which was the main reason I came here, but also the lazy river was very relaxing despite being a bit cold which I do put down to visiting in the winter months which is my own fault. The only downside to this was that one of the slides was closed for repairs when I visited, meaning we were unable to go on it, but this by no means ruined my day. The staff here are also really friendly and helpful, and would speak to me in my own language too, making me feel very welcome, one of the staff was even joking with us about where were from, which added a nice touch to the experience. The only negative I have is that although the initial tockets were good value for money, we then had to pay high prices for lockers, and if you wanted to sit down to catch your breath you would have to pay a really high price for a lounge chair.
Pros: The family had a good day at Aqualand. My son especially loved swimming with Sea Lions. An amazing experience. The lazy river was great and the slides were good. Cons: The wave pool was a huge let down. I would feel bigger waves in a puddle. After paying to get in you then have to pay for a locker and then pay per person for a lounger. It just adds and adds onto the price. Neutral: Food and drink were okay priced and there was plenty of choice.
After paying 74 euro for 2 tickets, 1 child at 14, we then were charged 5 euro per lounger to sit and relax whilst there. Told the lounger police that it was disgusting having to pay for a seat after paying so much to get in and quote "here you pay pay pay" was the response. Food was well over priced as you can see from the menu. Wasn't the greatest. Only benefit we got a free hat for 2 grande (large) beers at 15+ euros. Lazy river good, rapids and lots of slides, not too much quing anywhere.
Too expensive for what it actually is... You will have to wait hours to use the facilities due to too many people & FAST LANE PASS.... Those guys just pass the lane & you wait 45 min. just for a few seconds. Ok! I could buy one but not for 30 euros or more because you surely don't go there alone.... just calculate the budget (entrance is 37 euros also for kids above 11) !!!! I had a bad day there... Do not try to eat or drink there if you are not Bill Gates daughter 😳....
Great waterpark. It has a lazy river, wave pool, and plenty of slides. Some are lethal ha ha. Loads of fun. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean and tidy. Lockers were €7 (about £6) which can be paid by card. Fairly big. We fit a backpack and smaller bag in. You can go in and out of them all day. Plenty of taxis outside and a bus stop opposite. You get a discount online if you're going to here and Palmitos Park.
€35 to get it €5 a sunbed €7 for a locker But a great day out! Take flip flops the floors get super hot! Also look into fast pass, you will get so many more rides in!
