avoid at all costs! absolutely horrendous food. ordered the chefs special which was a tenderloin steak, came out looking like a curry. asked for medium rare and the steak was raw. This steak was priced at €25!! My partner had the pasta which was undercooked. the waitress was rude and was unbothered. I would not recommend.

Two people order three dishes and two beers. As an Italian restaurant, the spaghetti was bad. Seafood was not fresh at all, especially the shrimps, was melting when I try to get them up. The other food was average. The view of the restaurant was great. Could be a nice place to stay for a drink.

This is my favourite restaurant when I am in Gran Canaria. If you are pretentious or a snob, you will hate it. The food is decent, but by no means gourmet. It has great views, but the main reason I come is for the vibe. It has, what I can only imagine, to be a great German wedding reception atmosphere, particularly as the night gets older. They have some guy who plays music, sometimes an Elvis impersonator or similar. Couples dancing. All very tacky, but in the best possible way.

Below average food. Good service. Our daughter had paella. It was tasteless. Have had better elsewhere. i shared a mixed grill with our older son. The lamb was cooked ok, but the meat was full of tendons, The pork was cooked beyond "well done" which made i non-eatable. My wife had pasta. It was just tasteless. Also have had this way better elsewhere in Maspalomas. It is seldom that I exprience that all courses (which were different) of a dinner is below standard. I think it would be a good idea if the chef tried to taste the resulting food going out.

I came this evening sat at table 25 at 9:30ish and I wish I got the waiters name but he was a diamond. Been here twice during my week holiday once for drinks and once for food and the service was outstanding. Any problems I had was sorted with out any bother and food was outstanding and would definitely come again

Good restaurant. And very good paella. We like it. For us the best paella ever. When it is windy outside, so it was, it is also windy inside. Next week we come again and of couse for the paella. Erik

The view is great, the food not so much. The lamb chops didn't taste of anything and the huge amount of salad had no dressing. The ketchup and mayo cups made it feel like some quick takeaway instead of a proper restaurant. The quality just doesn't match the price.

Really lovely restaurant. Beautiful views and delicious food and drinks. All staff members were very lovely, positive and friendly, i didnt managed to get all of their names to mention them but my main waitor was luis. Thankyou all. Very reasonably priced food and drink. I would definitely go again. I was on a solo holiday and they all made me feel so welcome, safe and comfortable. Thankyou!!

The view is excellent! Sometimes they have flamenco dancers performing in the evening - Definitely recommend checking that out. Drinks are reasonably priced but lack quality, which was a surprise given their huge bar.

The food was not that fresh. Sardines tasted fishy, lamb chops were too small and chewy. Pasta had frozen shrimps in it that tasted bad. The place has a good view on the ocean though and the staff is friendly.

Tourist trap delux! Once seated they pretty much forgot about us. After a long while we got to order, but the waiter told us to wait half way through ordering (and mind you, we'd had a lot of time to think about our dishes and did not spend a lot of time) because he was more worried about seating tourists passing by than taking our order. The food was ok. Diavola and raviola was good, and prices were ok. Live music and fotball. Clean toilets though.

I'm not sure that I want you to know about Guarapo Tropical 'cos it'll become busier, n I might not get a table at what is, without doubt, my favourite eatery ANYWHERE. It's a Restaurant, a Cafe, a Diner, a Take away, a Bar and a Pub rolled into one. Service. The staff are incredible. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and LOYAL. (IF google allowed me more space, I'd be able to explain that last bit. Prices. More than reasonable. Location. Slightly hidden.. though that goes in my favour, 'cos less people can find it, lol. Cleanliness. The tables are well kept, the bar area equally so, given the quality of the food I'm gonna bet the kitchen is as clean as the rest of the place. which means clean. Food. As far as I could tell (March of 2022) everything on the snacks menu is available as take out / take away. and there are enough options on that menu alone to make sure you'l be happy. There's a Lunch and evening 'main meal' menu too. The Guarapo Tropical is one of those little finds that stay with you for as long as your memory lasts. I cannot recommend it highly enough. But please try to leave me a table. The downside. it's several hours flying time from MAN. in the out of season period, it doesn't open for breakfast and there was no signs of a breakfast menu. However, NO WHERE opens for breakfast other than the hotels. I'm soon to find out if it does open for breakfast in season. There are piccies!! but they are on my phone.. I will add them later. Hope you enjoy the food, the drinks, the service and the views if you visit, and trust me it's your loss if you don't. OH, another downside, for me (an upside for my beautiful wife to be) is they have have live sports showing bl00dy football.

We was 3 People’s eating here very slowly waiters and the restaurant was not even full, the bruschetta bred was with no taste and look boring. Pasta was ok but not a good quality of the meat the salat capresse was full of pesto to much pesto is my opinion but a good draft beer and and a excellent coffe . Now im here again One year later but this was not even Nice cold and dirty taste og Old spaghetti boiled d bacon Instead of fried and tha avocado for the starters was not ready to eat and with old tomatoes,

Good little food spot near the beach in Maspalomas. Waiters are friendly and it has good views. The decor inside is quite interesting too, kind of traditional Canary Island. The menu has lots of different languages and all are perfectly translated as well.
