Absolutely NEVER COMING BACK! Me and my family were staying in the hotel for a week and we have never seen such lack of care in the F&B department. They served mold on manchego cheese and served it again the next day. Not to mention some of the staff were barking and meowing at my little cousins at one point. ( we are Asian) What adults even do that?! The food was absolutely mediocre. We were always served drinks when we were nearly done. The lighting in the hotel is just so dark in some places. Honestly the only good things we’re the receptionists who always were happy to help and did help and the program team who were doing activities with the kids. Genuinely disappointment and not worth ANY penny. I hope they change whoever is in charge of F&B. Absolutely a disgrace to the hospitality industry.

Staff is super nice and helpful. Food is good. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and next to a mini market. People will reserve stretchers and not use them, but just because people are self-absorbed idiots, not fault of the hotel.

Spent a week with a friend based on all-inclusive. It was my first all inclusive experience and I am very content! The food was really good and a lot of variety in this 7 days. Good meat, fish and vega options and for every taste there is enough. Sometimes the buffet food was a little bit cold. Rooms were very comfortable, beds were fantastic and the shower also very good and powerful. Had a little problem with electricity on the right side of the bed, but that was all. But especially the friendly and helpful staff and service made our stay!

Returned yesterday from an 11 day stay at this wonderful hotel . My wife, who is partially disabled, was treated with the utmost consideration. A table was reserved for us close to the buffet at dinner without being requested. Different theme nights ensured that the menus were varied with something for everyone. Our Superior room was comfortable and spacious. The beds are the most comfortable I have experienced in any holiday hotel. The swimming pool was warm, clean and .large enough to accommodate all who wished to use it. However access was difficult for anyone with a mobility problem. A good programme of activities was available everyday. Everywhere the hotel was clean and well maintained. We have decided to return to this marvellous hotel again.

Our holiday started off by getting a basement room, when we were promised a sea view room. For extra 150€ they of course upgraded us when we already paid 1400£. Our room was not cleaned for straight up three days, even after complaining to reception, the receptionist told us they don’t have room service (a German guest later told me that they indes offer it, I guess they were just too lazy to bring it up to us), we had a kettle in our hotel room, but never got any tea/coffee. For the safe you have to pay extra. Our AC was not working on 28 degree weather 5 out of 8 days we were there. The beds were uncomfortable, along with the ran down duvet, and flat cheap pillows. The bathroom had a cheap shower head installed that sprinkled everywhere it wasn’t supposed to. The food for breakfast is also not worth it at all to get, and we didn’t even bother with lunch/dinner from the bad experiences with breakfast. For the spa, even the jacuzzi they they so highly advertise you have to pay for. Laundry is 8€ per shirt, instead you ask I’m for the key and do it yourself, just don’t iron anything, because the one that’s chained up in the basement laundry room burns your clothes, and you can’t fill it with water. For a 4* hotel, they must’ve gotten the last one an eBay auction, or just blatantly lie about being 4*. I stayed in hostels that are nicer and more up to date than Seaside Sandy Beach Hotel. Do not bother with this hotel, as it’s DEFINITELY NOT worth the price you pay.

Had a great experience here. The room was nice with Seaview. I was all inclusive and the food options were fantastic lots of choice and wonderful fresh food. Nice choice of drinks and cocktails. Lovely pool area and lots of sun terraces. Short walk to beach and to the yumbo. What makes this place is the staff! From reception to waiting staff to bar staff to cleaners and everyone in between they are all so welcoming, friendly, caring and really make this place unique.

Great staff and a good buffè. Great location just a few minutes by foot to the beach surrounded by many restaurants and bars. The restaurants near the beach however have very low standard, the majority of them, with classic boring "tourist food". I highly recommend a restaurant called Costa Italy located 10min by foot from the hotel, we went there for dinner almost every night, great food!

It’s the 2nd year we’re staying at the Sandy Beach hotel and I’m grateful for everything they offer. The room was perfect, always very clean. The food was delicious with a lot of variety and the staff, really all staff, is paying a lot of attention to your comfort, are friendly and they make you feel welcome! I definitely recommend the hotel for a relaxing stay. Thanks again to all the staff for their kindness!

Good hotel not amazing. Food is ok. Staff are really nice. Far to much smoking around pool bar and whilst sitting on balcony.

Overall a great hotel to stay, the room was spacious and comfortable. The only shame was the shower head didn't stay up. Staff are really good and gave perfect service, nice welcoming with free champagne on entrance. The reason for the less star is because we promised a special celebration on dinner but weren't given it which made us think they forgot. But this didn't stop us from having a great stay. Location is great, near the beach and overall bars - uphill to return to the hotel and some steps. Will definitely recommend staying again.

Very clean hotel with friendly efficient staff. Food was very good too. Close to the beach and generally well worth visiting. It has nudist sunbathing areas too, if you want an all over tan. The steam room and sauna are also predominantly nudist areas too. The hotel is well worth a visit.

Lovely hotel. Would stay again in a heart beat. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially management and restaurant staff. The food was unreal, I can't praise it enough. Lots of variety for even my fussy son. We ate almost every meal during our stay in the hotel. Cocktails were good and lots to choose from, draft beer was really nice. Renting the jacuzzi was SO worth it and one of my favourite day's. Location is perfect and I look forward to returning to Playa del Ingles, and I wouldn't ever consider staying and were else. Can't thank you all enough for the extra effort you all went for myself and family.

We have just returned from a week away at Seaside Sandy Beach. Overall a decent experience with more pros than cons. With us being in a party of 12 I expected us to struggle at meal times to sit together, however the staff reserved the same table for us for each sitting inside the restaurant which was great. Similarly sitting together around the pool, we had no real issue with getting the sunbeds together provided we were up early to get them. I imagine in the height of the season these might be an issue but the hotel wasn't particularly busy. In summary........ Pros: Food - can't really fault the food throughout the week. Lovely meat, fish, salads, pastas. Rooms: Although slightly dated, cleaned well each day and the beds were extremely comfortable, rooms were spacious with a walk in dressing room. Decent shower too. Location: Good location, only 5mins walk to the beach front with numerous bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. Pool: Lovely pool, quite small but due to time of the year wasn't crowded at all. Two small kids pools and the adults pool was great. Entertainment: OK for adults, variety of acts performing either around the pool or inside the bar. Cons: - Air con although it worked, it was poor. - Pool side was extremely slippy and saw numerous people fall and hurt themselves throughout the week. - Access around the hotel with a pram was very difficult as there are plenty of stairs to navigate. - Safety deposit boxes in 3 of the 4 rooms we had didn't work. (Rectified in 2 of them 3 days in). - Kids Entertainment pretty none existent although the girls tried their best. - Few rude guests that were constantly que jumping at the bar. Although I've listed some cons, none of them would put me off returning and a nice week had by all.

Nice heated pool, food was good variation and tasty. Big rooms but choose a room higher up in the hotel. We had a room on the second floor two floors under the reception. The bathroom had a smell of drain.

Have just returned from the Sandy Beach after a one week stay. The service at this hotel is exceptional. Even in the soaring heat, all the staff were fast, efficient and polite. The food is high quality too, with many options at all meal times. Dinner always had at least three different carvery options. There were other meats and three fish options cooked freshly in front of you as well. Also an array of salads, breads, cheeses, hot buffet and sweets... I could go on.. Location is good and it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and various shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and were cleaned every day. Outside the pool is not huge but it was adequate, even though the hotel was very busy. It is heated to the perfect temperature too. You could stay in all day... I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be going back again as soon as we can.

Room was great and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Our flight was at 10pm but we kept our room until 7pm. The food was great quality and whilst there was always the staples like salads, chips, pasta etc, every night was a different country speciality. We went All Inclusive so not sure what the price was or whether it was value for money. The beach was literally 5 mins walk so excellent position. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops along the beach front as well. Only negative with the hotel was sunbeds.... always enough available however pool side was a premium. The old issue with people who placed a towel on a bed at 0845 but never used it until 1500 ... just wish there could be an hour limit or something which the hotel could enforce. Overall though great hotel and facilities. The acid test is whether I would go back... definitely.

The staff are brilliant. Always friendly and approachable. Rooms are kept to a very high standard and are spacious. It's only a few minutes walk from the beach with parking on-site. The pool's great and there are fun activities available throughout the day. Half-board is good value and there's an all-inclusive option if you're going to spend most of your time at the hotel. Kids are welcome but it seems more of an adult hotel.

Amazing hotel. Best we have ever stayed in. Comfy beds and rooms are always kept clean. Pool and pool area is wonderful, don't have to get up too early to save a sunbed. Food is just amazing plenty of choice for all ages, even if you were a fussy eater you would not go hungry here. The staff are very helpful and pleasant and at meal times the staff treat us like we were special ,well done to them all as they never seem to stop. Great games room to keep everyone amused. We are going back next year. Very highly recommended.

Seaside is only the name, not the location. Hotel is about 500m from the sea. Typical 4 star hotel. Rooms are comfortabele and clean. Breakfast is extremely good. Swimming pool towels are provided in the room and can be changed daily. Despite the requests, many beds are claimed early in the morning. Best time for breakfast is around 08:15. Small parking area in front of hotel. Note that the entry and reception are on the forth (4) floor. Fitness room on level 3 (muscle training), running and cardio on nine.

Seaside Sandy Beach is the first place we’ve stayed at in Gran Canaria in our first trip this year and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. Loved the pool and their garden. We got to relax a lot and enjoyed the sun and their delicious cocktails by the pool bar. The buffed restaurant has such a huge diversity of dishes and every night they’ve had a different cuisine and some live music to accompany that. It was such a lovely atmosphere, familiar and super cozy. Our room was at the last floor and the view was spectacular from over there. Also loved the Moroccan accents in design at the entrance and the lobby area. Sandy Beach is such a nice place of chic, luxury and cozyness. The perfect spot for a very relaxing vacation in Gran Canaria.

Lovely 4 star hotel in a great location - 10 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins walk to Yumbo and 20 mins walk to Cita. From the moment we arrived everyone made us so welcome. The first impression is always so important and the reception staff were fabulous. Our room on the 9th floor had sea view, lots of sunshine throughout the day. The beds and pillows were very comfy and the room was spotlessly clean. Clean towels supplied every day and the room cleaning staff work really hard. Endless tea, coffee, milk and sugar in the room + a coffee machine. We didn't have much time to watch the TV but it received BBC1 BBC2 ITV Ch4 Sky sports, sky news and several other UK channels. The restaurant area was lovely, lots of outdoor tables, excellent breakfast and the half board option is worthwhile, the food on offer and restaurant staff are fabulous. A good selection of live evening entertainment. Great pool area and three naturist terraces, comfy sunloungers with padded cushions. We must not forget to mention the night porter who we had a nice chat with every night when we got back. Not a lot more to add except for; this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Gran Canaria. 100% from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Our first time to Gran Canaria. Seaside Sandy Beach was excellent. Food was superb - evening buffet was probably the best we've ever had in a hotel. Staff friendly efficient and helpful. Definitely recommend

Nice but old hotel in Playa del Ingles. It could use a modernisation. Regardless, the staff was friendly and the room spacious. But quite a few things need fixing- in our room the light on the balcony was broken, the shower handle as well. The food was ok but got boring quickly.

Compared to what I had see in Maspalomas this hotel is excellent and in good repair. The staff were all very friendly. Even when something didn’t go as planned the General Manager did everything she could to make it better with success. The room was spacious and clean. I was located with view of the pool. Hotel is close to the beach as well. The food in the restaurant was also very good. Large buffet with lots to choose from. Highly recommend!

We spent 16 days here, it was a enjoyable experience but definitely could have been better, we will not be returning. The location is great only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The accommodation was comfortable and clean( only found 2 cockroaches in our room). The food was good with a reasonably good choice however it tended to repeat to become monotonous. Only one swimming pool which is fairly small if you take into consideration the size of the hotel. I was disappointed in the service the waiters and waitresses tended to ignore the Brits and pander to the Germans, in fact the waiters second language was German and all the signs in the hotel where in Spanish 1st, German 2nd and English last, also if you want a lounger by the pool the Germans start queuing about 08-10 waiting until about 08-40 when they have cleaned the area as put the mattresses out then allow you to place your towel on the bed to claim your spot there are additional beds on the top veranda but you will have to walk down the steps to the pool, the pool is heated so is never cold but on hot days it was too warm and was like getting in a warm bath. The entertainment was mediocre and repeat weakly but I don’t find this unusual as the acts just did the rounds in the same hotels in the area. We only went half board which was a good choice for us personally as we don’t drink much and after a substantial breakfast we skipped lunch as it wasn’t included a lot of people we spoke to said the drinks were watered down anyway. We did speak to some people who were returning for a second or third visit. but valve for money it was average but that is only my honest opinion you obviously may have a different opinion. I hope you may have found my feedback helpful. Q

I was at seaside sandy Beach for one week. And it was amazing. The service was really good. I loved that they had different kind of themes of for the dining. And at the breakfast time they made sure there was a toast with turkey for me because I don’t eat pork, that was really nice! The only thing about breakfast is there wasn’t so much lactose free stuff, but there was so much else you could choose. The room was great, the only thing I want to point out is that it could use an upgrade with the furnitures.

Amazing hotel great service and food. One small issue. The doors to the rooms are incredibly heavy and hard to open. Please get this fixed at some point. The place was very clean as cleaners will clean the pool side area daily.

Fabulous hotel, rooms well equipped, air conditioned and always clean. Food is excellent and the massive choice available is great. Staff are wonderful. Nothingbis too much trouble. Close to the beach with east access from the hotel. Shops nearby.

We cannot fault this place one bit. It was my first time abroad and we flew with Jet2 who arranged the transfer to the hotel where we arrived around 1am and the man at the reception counter was so friendly and welcoming. There was an issue with the computer so we couldn't get checked in straight away but he kept us chatting until the system loaded and we were soon handed our key card and made our way to our room. We were welcomed with a plate of fresh fruit and bottled water when we first entered the room, which considering we hadn't ate since the airport was a very welcomed gift. We stayed for 10 nights and had breakfast every morning (we opted for half-board) which was a buffet style with such a vast selection of foods from local meats and cheese to a traditional full English breakfast. The service from each of the staff in the restaurant, both waiting staff and chefs, was undeniably perfect. Every morning we were greeted with an upbeat Hola! The evening meals were also something we found ourselves looking forward to, where each night was a different themed buffet (Spanish, Mexican, German, French, etc). Again the food served was incredible, the staff continuously aware of everyone and making each person feel catered for. We found ourselves only using the pool a couple of times due to travelling around the area, however each time we were more than happy. The size of the pool allows people not to feel cramped together and that you have your own space. It's also a heated salt water pool which is definitely something we enjoyed. We found ourselves enjoying the nightlife of Yumbo almost every night, so we were returning back to Sandy Beach within the early hours of the morning (ranging from midnight to 5am) and each time we had such ease with accessing the hotel either through the main reception or via the side entrance (requires a room key to open the door). Finally, we cannot praise the location of this hotel enough. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, if that, where you were right by the main strip on Playa Del Ingles with an abundance of shops and restaurants. Again, only a short 5 minute walk up to Yumbo meant that we had access to everything with plenty of ease. To each of the staff we had the pleasure to meet, thank you so much for such an incredible holiday. Each of you made our experience one to remember and we honestly cannot wait to return.

We went all inclusive and it was okay, but won't go back. If not very child friendly. They do try, but the pool bar is surrounded by smoking tables and the staff are not very friendly to kids. There also isn't anywhere to get the burgers or pizza between meals that the website advertises. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is okay, but it doesn't really change and the staff are keen to get you in and out quickly. Finally the drinks are the cheapest drinks they can get and they're watered down. But it gets three stars because well, it wasn't bad, it was okay. Just not what we thought we were getting.
