Lovely adults only hotel The hotel design is well thought out and every area is very aesthetically pleasing. All the staff from reception, catering, cleaning and maintenance were friendly and approachable. The food served in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch was excellent and well presented. I particularly liked the resident DJ who played by the pool on a Sunday afternoon, the music was not intrusive and was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was nice but was not easy to get into as some people stayed in a little too long when they got in and didn’t share with others. There are plenty of sun beds and lounging areas by the pool. It is next to a supermarket and about 10 minute walk to the beach in one direction and 10 minutes to evening entertainment in the other direction I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return for another stay.

Lovely hotel, friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are a good size and modern. Showers are very large. Issues are dealt with efficiently and without fuss. Spanish all eat at the hotels restaurant, but we are yet to try it. Shopping and restaurants are right next door.

Yes it’s exactly like the photos and the staff are the best team I have experienced. Paco welcomed us every morning for breakfast that was perfectly managed following all COVID safe protocols. Reception, restaurant, housekeeping, swimming pool guard and garden staff all got a 5 STAR from me. Great stay

It had been quite a few years since we took a holiday so this was very important to us.
On arrival, we were met with warm and welcoming staff and a fizzy drink. We waited a few minutes for our rooms and then went up to two beautiful bright and clean rooms complete with a small kitchen and a terrace.
 The Breakfast room was laid out beautifully with cakes, cereal ,cold meats and cheese and little jars containing fresh fruit of all descriptions (we thought it was a great idea). Fresh orange juice like proper straight from the orange juicer was fab!! Two pools and a Jacuzzi and a choice of areas to sit and soak up the sun. 
There is a restaurant next to the hotel but this has to be booked in advance. Each evening we headed around the corner to Luigis, not posh just fantastic food and great prices. Ten minutes walk down to the promenade but many steps to get to the main beach and shops, not ideal if you have mobility issues but there will be side roads that take you to the same place. Great bargains and beautiful weather.
We have loved every day of this relaxing break. 
The Hotel staff are kind, caring and helpful and we recommend this Hotel because of this.

I have stayed in 4 and 5 stars hotels around the world, this one it’s not at that level here’s why: - The pool it’s cold all the time so you can’t swim and enjoy it especially if you want to swim in the morning - The restaurant it’s so small for the big hotel and gets crowed, we were not able to enjoy the breakfast. You have to queue just to have eggs and that’s the only hot meal they offer - The rooms are not noise proof. I heard people moving furniture at 3 am, screaming or even the toilet flushing, so we have had really bad quality night sleep. The good ones: - The staff it’s very friendly and willing to help that’s the better point they have. - The location it’s really good near everything.

From the moment of stepping into the hotel foyer the standard of service was fabulous. Every member of the staff that we met from the reception, the housekeeping and pool cafe were so welcoming, helpful and really did everything they could to facilitate a perfect stay. Meticulously clean and following Covid procedure without any fuss. Really first class. No hesitation in recommending this hotel. Thank you Cristina and Christian for all your help.

I have no word how can I describe my experience staying in room 114 with a lovely terrace to Gold by Marina. The expectation was above. Everything was amazing from the receptionist like Cristina and the other was wonderful, happy to help, to advise to answer your inquiry, the breakfast had too many varieties to choose, fresh juice , English menu etc. Ahmed he was so funny, and also every staff in the Hotel including the amazing team, House kipping they have delivered in a good and high standard cleaning, changing the towels water in a room, and very polite. The swimming pool, the Gym, the inside of the Hotel, the lift, the jacuzzi everything was Perfect. I just wanna say thank you very much for your hard work and I promise definitely will see me again it was a pleasure to meet you and was a very good experience. Daniel B

WOW, WOW and WOW! This hotel is the best hotel I've ever been in Europe. The check in was fabulous, gentle and kind receptionists. Very clean and refurbished room, good dimension for a double room. The breakfast was delicious and everything I had was just perfect. The position is extremely good both for the seaside and for nightlife. Thanks for the amazing trip! I'll be back!

Excellent stay during Maspalomas Gay Pride. Welcomed with Prosecco and friendly throughout the holiday. Room was cleaned every day, even when we were up late. The pool party was fun. I’m sure we will come back! ❤️

I just came back after 10 days in the hotel and it was really very good. The staff was so nice and helpful, the room was clean and welcoming. The food in breakfast was rich and delicious and I just loved everything and i will come back next year.

What can I say... I've been to many hotels in the past years. Some were 4* and good and some were 5* and terrible. Gold Marina by Scene is a different dimension. It is beyond stars. I am staying here right now for my birthday and I am happy every second that I am at the hotel. There is so much taste and thought in all things concerning design. It is small scale but not tiny and bare. Marble floors give it such a nice classy touch. Pools are wonderful - by far the chillest and with the most privacy in pool beds. Shade, sun - plenty of everything. Vegetation is also plentiful and makes it very cosy. Breakfast I ate was decisively the best hotel breakfast I've ever eaten. Crispy bacon is actually crispy. Everything is fresh. Help yourself to a glass of Cava if you like. Details, all the details make all the difference. Welcome drink, smiling personnel. Our room has some minor signs of being a little dated and - when we were gone for a while- a little stale smell. But it matters very little. We are enjoying ourselves and this is a true gift for my upcoming birthday!

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Staff were super friendly, greeting us with a glass of Prosecco on arrival. The hotel and rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. The small kitchen area in the room (fridge, hob, microwave, sink) is super useful. The 2 pools are great, lots of very comfy sun-loungers! The food at the pool bar was excellent, great variety of comfort food and healthy meals, would recommend the club sandwich! Great cocktails as well. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

My partner and I were staying at the adults-only hotel, for four days during the month of May 2023. Absolutely was an extraordinary experience. The room’s design is a bit old fashioned, but as you stay and reveal more areas of the hotel, you realize that this is the MAGIC of this hotel. The room is well equipped and very clean. The bed is amazingly comfortable and the white linen were soft and pleasant to touch. The shower is huge, easily for two people...😊 Hotel’s public areas are clean, beautiful (Greek island style, colored with white and turquoise surrounded by amazing Cactuses and Succulents) and very well organized, including two pools, three tanning areas, Dry Sauna and Gym (Tiny, divided in two floors but excellent for routine maintenance during vacation). Breakfast is just PERFECT: cold cuts, variety of quality cheeses, smoked fish, fresh eggs kitchen and cooked toppings, vegetables and fruits in personal jars, bread and pastries, fresh coffee and juice… I must have forgotten more things 🤪 The service of the hotel is SUPERB and very GAY FRIENDLY. Special THANKS to the assistant manager SONIA, for being so Sensitive, Caring and Worrying. If she’s in charge, no wonder her crew is so professional 😍 Start with the front desk service representatives that were always with a huge smile on there faces and always willing to help and serve. Maids, waiters, service providers all kind, gives you the feeling you are very welcome. Definitely will come back again… hopefully soon.

Gold hotel is an excellent all round hotel. We had no concerns or negative comments about our one week stay. The hotel is spotless with daily room cleaning and regular ad hoc cleaning of shared spaces as required. From check in, to rearranging our transfer, booking a last minute hire car, check out and keeping our bags, the reception staff were excellent. Breakfast was varied and of a good quality with again, attentive staff. The pools were cleaned regularly with staff on hand at all times providing clean towels. The gym is small but has a good array of equipment for a holiday set up although the weights room had one too many large pieces of kit, more space for stretching would have been a better use of the small room. The sauna was a lovely edition and the time constraints using the pools, sauna and jacuzzi mean the entire stay was peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend Gold to others and wouldn't hesitate to rebook here if we returned to Gran Canaria.

This is a great little hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel feels newly refurbished and clean. The breakfast is niceeeee and can be eaten any time between 8 and 12 which is awesome. Lying by the pool is relaxing. It's an overall great experience.

Fabulous stay in room 812 this week. Gorgeous views, lovely food and friendly, helpful staff. A few additional umbrellas around the pool would be welcomed but otherwise an amazing stay - thank you!

I am super satisfied and totally relaxed after 8 days with the hotel, a great breakfast, super expensive treatment, super cheerful. This reception is to be congratulated with the right to a toast. pool and esport area also this note 10 for friends who can't live without training 😅. a short walk you are already at the Yumbo Center, right next to the beach also with several attractions. If you like can use also a bike to have more fun. I suggest the hotel and I'm sure I'll be back.

First visit to Gran Canaria & so delighted with hubby's choice of hotel. Everything was just perfect. All the staff, from the general manager to hospitality were friendly, helpful, informative & generally amazing 😍. Hotel was immaculate & spotless. Breakfast was plentiful with so much variety, freshly cooked to order is a plus. Decking/garden area/pool absolutely stunning. We will 100% return.

Stayed in January 2024 which was our 4th trip to Gold by Marina. The hotel is still as impressive as before, lovely rooms, friendly staff and beautiful pool area. It also has the best hotel breakfast which is yet to be beaten by anybody else! Great location in Maspalomas, able completely chill and relax but has plenty of options on the doorstep if you fancy a night out! Would highly recommend!

I can not give a very good comment, since there are too much things not matched the description. Firstly the staff in reception were super welcomed and helpful, also the cleaning staffs, however the staffs in the bar and breakfast seem like not well trained how to serve the customers well, especially one bald guy is extremely discriminated. Room can not be rated as a four star hotel, no modern style, too old and not clean enough, but equipped with small kitchen, which is really practical, water for shower is quite small, not so comfortable. Swimming pool was really cold, other hotels besides has heated the water properly. I hope my sincere comment could improve your facility and service. Last but not least, location is fantastic, 10min to the desert, close to everywhere.

Stayed there for 10 days with my partner and was very impressed, the rooms where spacious (for a hotel) and modern. The beds where firm but comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and had a proper fridge unlike those mini fridges you sometimes get. Didnt use the pools but they looked clean and well looked after, on that the hotel makes a big deal about being environmentally friendly with laa the main lights outside modern motion controlled led lights and also give you the option of not having your room cleaned up to 3 times per week. Theres electric bikes to hire outside reception and car hire in reception (with another down the road), the local supermarket is very well stocked with everything you may need and the beach is only a short walk away. Local bus stops are a very short walk away and you can get to anywhere on the island from them. We enjoyed our stay alot and would happily return at a later date.

We stayed in a master suite and what a treat! Fab room! Breakfast was great, open until 12! Everyone was super friendly. Gym is small but you can get a basic workout in. Hotel restaurant is good, make sure you book!! Really good location especially if heading to the Yumbo or beach. Highly recommend.

Favourite hotel in the world. As if it isnt designed perfectly, the staff are amazingly nice (they cannot do enough for you, pools are great, every little detail is perfect. Food is great. Been twice now and will come back again and again!

Very very pleased with the hotel! Initially found and booked the hotel for april 2020, but then the pandemic happened and had to cancel it.. now 2 years later finally visited it! Great hotel with 2 different pools and a jacuzzi on the rooftop. A lot to choose for breakfast and very nice sunbeds. It’s adults only so you can definitely enjoy your stay.

First time staying at Gold by Marina and I'll be very sad to be leaving tomorrow. The staff are excellent and so friendly, the rooms are absolutely spotless and very spacious. Great choice of pools and use of the beds by the pool. The rooftop hot tub was the highlight for me. Honestly cannot fault this place and would definitely stay here again as the location is perfect and the fact that's it adults only meant there was a very chilled vibe. It's the perfect place for couples looking for a relaxing break but still having the option to be within walking distance of the busy night life 10/10

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff are so attentive, we really enjoyed the themed nights and the breakfast and food around the pool is amazing. I was glad that I read the reviews prior to out trip as we decide to pay a bit more for B&B rather than room only. We barely left the hotel as we were wanting a really chilled holiday and the hotel did not let us down. I am not one for returning to the same holiday destination but I would definitely return to Gold by Marina as it was very good value for money. Well done to the staff and I can’t wait to return!

So my five stars go to: the staff, the rooms, the staff, the atmosphere and the staff. Did I mention the staff? The hotel looks like a Miami pink deco gem. Very comfortable, looks amazing and full of nice touches that shows how much the hotel cares about its customers. Bottles of water that get refilled, credit when you decide the rooms do not need cleaning, the staff from front desk to cleaners to kitchen staff that go out of their way to make you smile. The pool is great, location amazing and amenities all you could wish for. Only minor point for me were the extremely soft beds.

Currently staying in this wonderful hotel. The staff and housekeeping are very welcoming and will help you in any way they can. The hotel is not that huge, which is perfect for a calm and relaxing stay. Breakfast is great with a lot of variety (live cooking, sweets) and a lot of healthy options as well. Breakfast is served till 12'00, which is great. They also offer a nice lunch menu. Room has a beautiful design, the top levels have a nice view at the dunes of Maspalomas. Location is near Yumbo shopping center with a lot of bars and restaurants. The beach is also very close. Great stay!

Very nice adult only hotel. The pool area is really nice and till 4 pm the friendly staff serves drinks and food at the pool. Nice size room with balcony . The room has a small kitchen. The shower is big and the toilet very small. The restaurant near the reception is FANTASTIC ! ( better than the food at the pool) also breakfast is good. Gay friendly I do recommend this hotel

Recently returned from a long break at Gold By Marina. We stayed in a superior room with balcony which was on the top floor with lovely views of the sea and dunes, and also received the sun all day. The hotel is fantastically located for the beach and also the busy Yumbo centre. It's a comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel which is perfect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is served until 12, and there is also food available throughout the afternoon by the fabulous pool. The sunloungers are super comfy and the poolside bar serves lovely drinks and cocktails. The staff at this hotel are amazing. Reception, Breakfast/Restaurant, Kitchen, Bar, Lifeguards, Housekeeping, Maintenance. They're all so helpful and friendly. A special mention for Christian on reception who checked us in and out, and was so helpful throughout our stay. We love coming to this hotel and look forward to returning again! Thank you!
