I had 2 days of diving this past week and truly enjoyed them. Jose was an excellent dive guide. He found us a couple of manta rays, 2 cuttlefish, a sleeping angel shark and lots more.

This Diving Center is with no doubt the best one in Gran Canaria I was searching many diving companies in Maspalomas diving center in Playa Del Ingles . All diving in Gran Canaria with Calypso diving Center were very well organized and all details of the place where we were going was told by the Dive Master very interesting also . Me and my wife we took boat dive maspalomas and it was like a trip which we enjoyed as by the way when we were going to the diving place we seen a beautiful coast of Gran Canaria. If You search holiday activities Gran Canaria I highly recommend to go to Calypso 5 star dive center Maspalomas the also offer if you are the fan of adventurous diving you can try wreks diving and see amazing stuff under water on their website you can see what natural reserve they allowed to dive and what else i can say ... Ok i will be very frank. We had six dives in total, two dives per day. they took us the very, exact same dive sites on Day 1 and Day 3. We also had to pay €60/person extra for boat dives each day (which is fine as I usually prefer boat dives) BUT the fuel/diesel smell (Johnny’s boat - He is not part of the center, but someone they work with) made half of the people SICK. It was probably the worst boat sickness i ever had. I am also used to take a fishing boat size for dives but this was a yacht-size, with waves fluctuating so much as well as strong DIESEL smell. The instructor, Juan Carlos, he didn’t give us any warm ups or refreshed our memories when it’s been three years we dived. Therefore my boyfriend fast ascended on his first dive. It was very low budget dive trips, but I wouldn’t recommend again. There are always reasons why they are cheap

My daughter (15) had a trial dive today and thouraghly enjoyed the experience. The staff were brilliant and helpful. We were given transport to the dive centre and drinks on arrival. The instructor was very knowledgeable and thorough, everything was very professional but not in an overbearing manner. Thankyou guys and girls. Highly recommended 👌

Dived yesterday with Calypso, on holiday from the UK so always nervous about diving somewhere new with a different dive centre. However was put af ease with professional and friendly team at Calypso. Picked me up from the hotel on the time agreed and completed two shore dives. The team were very knowledgeable and made it a great day. Thanks for a good day out and my first diving experience in Gran Canaria.

I took the open water course and it was my first diving experience ever so naturally I was nervous. However, I must admit thanks to the professionalism of Calypso center I have completed the course with confidence in what learned. The communication with the center prior to my arrival and during the course was very smooth and I appreciated the individual approach. The training was in a small group, almost like one on one. I am very grateful to my instructor Ilze who is truly amazing. She was there for us every minute charging with her endless positiveness and energy. Ilze is great in what she does, I trusted her entirely so it made my learning easy and I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you a million and best wishes.

This such a nice Dive Center. They have very friendly, competent and patient teachers, know all the good diving spots, so it's so much fun to dive when doing the Open Water Course. Also the equipment is in a very good condition. I would definitly recommend this Dive Center if you want to learn diving !

My 15 years old son got a PADI junior certification last year in Greece and wanted to dive again during our stay in Gran Canaria. Finally he did a dive together with my wife for which it was a first dive. Both had a very good experience and were well trained by the kind staff, especially on how to breathe underwater, which is not that easy for a beginner. My wife really enjoyed and is ready to dive again during our next vacation.

Did my open water course here and had the best experience! The team are really friendly and good English speakers. My instructor Aga was really good at explaining things and their dive sites are super beautiful and cool! They are very flexible and easy to communicate with through email. Highly recommend!

Me and my wife had a great experience with Calypso on our holidays. André and the team were super nice and professional. They gave special attention to my wife, that had her depth limited by an ear problem, assigning her one of their dive masters/instructors to buddy with her exclusively, while the rest of the group could do the deeper dives. Their are very knowledgeable about the dive sites and we could dive in all, thanks to the good weather. Loved all, but Tufia was my prefered with all the rocks, small life and beautiful plants. Whenever we go back to Gran Canaria, we will for sure dive with them again. Thanks for taking good care of us and for the nice pics and videos! Highly appreciated! Cheers!

We love the 3 days for our open water course that we did during our holidays. It was absolutely amazing, only morning so we could enjoy our afternoon, we had an incredible instructor Sam who go at your pace and is super kind and funny. Couldn’t be happier with this organisation and we wouldn’t change it for the world, thank you Calypso for making our time in maspalomas even better that we could imagine !

It was a fantastic dive with Danni of the Calypso Diving Club. After a refresh session we made a great dive and saw very nice fishes, a Seehorse and an Angelshark. Fantastic! Danni is really a good instructor, very kind with patience and reassuring. Fabienne et Alain

Lovely staff and great dives! So happy I chose this place for my Open Water Diver certification!

They have really good dive sites and know where to find the best places. Depending on the weather they do boat or coastal dives. I did eight awesome dives with them and took some photos. Unfortunatly they didn´t have a own boat, but they pick you up at your hotel and bring you to the harbour Puerto de Morgan where the boat of their partner company is based. You have a good chance to spot some rays and of course hundreds of fishs. Most time they go the first dive to two wrecks in submarine park (sometimes both wrecks in one dive) and do as second dive a drift dive. There are also small caves and lots of other cool stuff
