Both
myself
and
my
partner
had
never
been
on
a
tour
before
and
so
we
were
a
little
bit
reluctant,
however
it
was
the
best
decision
we
made
for
the
whole
holiday.
Originally,
we
planned
to
visit
Timanfaya
National
Park
ourselves,
however
to
cycle
there
it
is
hard
due
to
the
high
climbs
and
winds,
plus
a
lot
of
the
land
is
restricted
so
you
cannot
gain
access
unless
you
are
part
of
a
tour
anyway.
So,
if
you
are
planning
on
driving
to
the
National
Park,
you
will
have
to
pay
to
go
onto
one
of
the
big
coaches
that
will
take
you
around
instead.

Experience
Tours
are
a
small,
family
ran
business,
who
are
immensely
accommodating
and
easy
to
communicate
with.
There
were
only
4
others
on
the
tour
where
we
drove
around
in
a
mini-bus,
which
I
think
is
why
we
loved
it.
Angela,
our
guide,
knew
so
much
about
the
island's
history,
the
volcanoes,
the
culture;
something
you
would
hope
for
considering
her
family
go
back
7
generations.
She
was
a
lovely
woman
who
was
very
easy
to
speak
to
and
ask
questions
if
you
had
any
at
all
(her
English
was
better
than
mine).
Due
to
COVID-19
we
had
to
wear
a
mask
inside
the
mini-bus
(which
is
compulsory
on
public
transport
and
shops
too),
and
sanitize
our
hands
before
we
got
on
(which
she
provided).
When
we
were
picked
up
from
our
hotels/apartments,
we
were
all
given
a
bottle
of
water
as
it
was
a
very
hot
day,
around
35+
degrees.
Every
time
we
stopped
to
visit
places,
we
were
given
time
to
enjoy
the
views
and
explore
whilst
Angela
cleaned
to
ensure
everything
was
spotless.
If
you
ever
read
this
Angela,
thank
you
so
much.
We
both
had
a
wonderful
time
and
I
hope
you
and
your
family
are
well
