Bolado Park

Park Fairground

😐 Good spot for an overnight RV stay, very peaceful and quiet the time we went, I'm guessing much less so during an event, but that's to be expected! Little difficult to drain the tanks, the sewage had to travel uphill since the connection was up on a hill, they could have installed them differently,... People often mention nice, quiet, fair, Great,

Good spot for an overnight RV stay, very peaceful and quiet the time we went, I'm guessing much less so during an event, but that's to be expected! Little difficult to drain the tanks, the sewage had to travel uphill since the connection was up on a hill, they could have installed them differently, and it would have been nice if they had a bathhouse with a shower since the sewage was such a pain. But they were really affordable!

Friendly staffer, Susan, took our reservation. Bolado Park is a well cared for, quiet place to stay at! Level sites, convenient hook ups, grassy area for the dog, well lit at night, what's not to like?!

Played the national anthem to open the rodeo with the Hollister High school Band. Everyone was super friendly and we got a free entrance to the fair and even free corn dogs. Very fun

Great local venue that hosts the Saddle horse show, the county fair, and various other things.

Bolado Park is a spot if you need to get away, If you have an RV or a trailer and you want to just go somewhere for a couple days I suggest going to bolado poolpark if you want nice and peace and quiet especially when it brings back memories if you know what I mean even when the times when it used to have a pool but tragic things happen you know however you ever feel like you need to get away I just Bolado park is the spot brings back memories nice and peace and quiet away from everybody.

I volunteered to host Farm Day for the third graders from Hollister. Local farms and organization's give the children the opportunity to learn about farming and ranching practices. Where does your food come from? How to ride a horse, etc. There were huge tractors, animals to pet and a beautiful picnic area under the oak trees. A real highlight was the farrier demonstration and the San Benito County Cowboy museum and stadium. An annual horse show and rodeo is held here the last weekend in June. Only local cowboys and cowgirls are welcome to compete. They have 3 very unique events; The figure 8 roping, cowhide race and the wild horse race! Great entertainment!

It's a great space for big events. Now getting out was a challenge but with patience we all got out!

Went here for a horse state competition. Great facility, at least 2 bathrooms, several arenas, snack bar and stalls

Very nice family friendly County fair. We enjoyed the truck pulls, and walking around the park and looking at all the exhibits and livestock

The San Benito Fair is always a treat but the lack of non-profits ( I e lions ,club/ rotary) etc offering food or drink shows the increasing commercialization of what was mostly a community fair!
