One of the best wine tasting experiences that my wife and I have done. We are huge fans of bold red wines and this winery has them. The staff knowledge and experience really complimented the wine tasting. The port was amazing. Can't wait to come back and try more and bring more home.

Great little winery! Took a quick tour of the vat room in a building that looked a lot like it was a bunker in the 1950s! Reinforced concrete walls! Did a wine tasting, $15 for a flight of three. Outdoor tasting room just across the San Andreas fault from the vineyard. The Old Vine Syrah was our favorite, followed by the stiletto negreta.

A very pleasant experience every time. Best wines in San Benito County. We, our family and many friends are wine club members. Don't forget to bring a picnic lunch.

Atmosphere was lovely! Met Aspen the resident doggie. Came here on a Monday and what a treat! Can't wait to bring our friends!! Thank you Tony for the wine tasting and recommendations.

Dropped by for a quick visit. Super friendly guys work here. They explained their product well which helped lead me to an easy decision. I left with a bottle of Continental Cabernet which I will be pleased to share with some dear friends back in San Diego. Really, really cool looking early 1970s Ford Ranger out front.

Don't let the entry fool you - they have a beautiful patio area around the side and delicious wines.

One of my favorite places if we are in the Hollister area. Lovely reds priced from reasonable to oh-no-you-shouldn't! Tasting is currently outdoors, across a little foot bridge, to a shady area with tables and comfy chairs. This time I bought the oh-no bottle. I'm worth it.

Single best Negrette I have ever had. Their Zin is what got me into mouthy wines. Pat not only has one of the coolest moustaches on the planet, but he and Al (his son) are wine purists... not in the "wine spectator" crowd... but old world wine makers that do it for one reason... they love wine. One of the oldest operated wineries in the US, it has only been owned by a couple different families since 1854. They don't give a damn about anything other than wine... nada. They don't care about wine spectator's points, they don't care about who endorsed what, what is on what wine list, and what restaurant is the hippest right now. And I love it. Their style is very much like provencal France, you know? It is the people of the community getting together.. the winemakers, the farmers, the butcher.... living together, drinking together, eating together.... in celebration of life. To eat and drink with friends is life! AND.... Not to be seen at a hip new restaurant with an over-marketed, overvalued bottle of shite wine. To DeRose!!!! Thanks guys!

My family really enjoyed the wine. Hospitality was off the charts!!! Go on a Saturday so you can check out the classic cars. You will not be disappointed.

Had a nice visit today and enjoyed my testing in the sunny garden area. Tried a few wines and now I'm a converted chardonnay drinker and grabbed a very good Zin to go too. Alphonse the owner is very knowledgeable and provided great service.

Enjoyed a flight of red wines and a bottle of sparkling French wine. Every taste was delicious! Highly recommend visiting this winery if on the area.

Top winery in the South Bay; incredible wines (local, old vines and imported grapes - the Cab Franc & Negrette = WOW), lovely, hospitable family-run, welcoming atmosphere, it’s a hidden gem!! So glad they opened a tasting room closer to Morgan Hill.
