Salsa and chips for starters were delish! First time visiting and was referred by my sister. I wanted to know more history of THE MEXICO CAFE as I noticed all the beautiful family photos and many more black and white pictures on the wall which told a story. I will still return and enjoy authentic Mexican food and learn more about this hot spot. By the way, loved the Myan piece on the back wall! Lovely!

This place is so good. They have been around forever. I love the fish tacos and fajitas here. Honestly I have never had a bad meal or experience here. They are a bit pricey, but the food is worth it.

Wow, if you like Mexican food. This is the most authentic food and the buffet has so many choices!! The sunday brunch is nothing but fantastic!

So me and my mom came to grab some good old Mexican food from my fav place..well it was til we got placed with a waitress named "Marisa A." She wasn't nice at all. We felt so rushed to place our order with her. We both ordered margaritas. And they both were VERY sour! I had no tajin and sugar around my rim. And when my mom sent hers back to be made over the rocks it taste just the same. Yeah it may have been busy at around 4:30ish but forgetting to check your tables or ask if we needed anything she did Not. And she forgot to bring out my niece beans and rice. She made sure to check on her other tables but kept by passing us. I really feel like she's a racist. I'm so tired of the discrimination at these places. Like you want our money and a tip but don't treat us as human beings she was the worst I ever had to deal with. I'll never return here. And no we didn't leave her a tip. But here's a tip, "Treat customers with the most respect doesn't matter if we're black"!

Their Doordash ordering is awful. I've contacted the manager on 3 different occasions regarding the packaging of the food. I get the deluxe burrito. It's has sauce on it. The back of house does not completely push down the edges of the aluminum packing so the sauce spilled out in the bag no sauce on the burrito twice this happened. Called the manager both times. So after my complaints I figured I'd give them a 3rd chance. This time there was no sauce in the bag but also no sauce in the container maybe a tablespoon at most and it still was not packaged correctly. But this time there was no need because there was no sauce to spill out. 3 times of bad food, complaints and being told I'm so sorry we'll fix it next time you come in we'll make it right. Well I don't go in I order from Doordash so needless to say I've not been compensated for the worst food. This is the last time I'm ordering from this awful place and I won't be going inside to eat there either.

The food was great and plentiful. The service is 6 stars, and so is the atmosphere. We were visiting family, and this is one of their favorite restaurants. I can see why. I definitely recommend that you try this restaurant if it isn't already one of your favorites.

Nice place with good people working there. I’ve eaten here since it opened that’s a lot of years. I love the fact that over all the years the Quality and flavors of the food has stayed the same!

Be careful when ordering margaritas from this place. The waiter told me flavored margaritas were half price during happy hour. I ordered a mango margarita (Normally $17) and it didn’t taste like it had alcohol in it. When I received my check I discovered the $8.49 drink was non-alcoholic. No where on the menu does it state those are non-alcoholic. I’ll never go back after that.

Probably the first Mexican food I ever ate (long ago). Everything is quality. Treat yourself to a margarita. Hang on the patio for happy hour. Forgot how great the tamales are - tender and with a great sauce!

I've been here a few times over the years it's a hit and miss sometimes when I went this time I didn't like my food at all I had the fish tacos there was no flavor , chips tasted stale wasn't feeling it . I took it home to go the waiter was nice , the hosts when I was coming in were very dismissive and not very friendly . However, this is my mom's favorite spot . For me, it was okay . Parking was packed. They have outdoor seating .

The kids loved their cheeseburgers and our tacos and mimosas were the best! It was great service even with a reserved bridal party ! Thanks to the hostess that was kind enough to take photos and let the staff know it was my birthday! She deserves a raise

I hadn't eaten here in years and today's visit was a refreshing update. I tried a 2-item combo. The Chile relleno was delicious, though, could've used more sauce. The pork tamale was tender with chunks of pork. The rice was fluffy, the refried beans delicious. After a break, later I enjoyed a brownie sundae. I can never find good restaurant carnitas, but I might try them here next time. The service was attentive. *On a side note, I appreciated the cleaning. Tables were cleared right away and wiped down and the floors were swept of debris, a task most restaurants can improve on.

Love this place...just lately food takes a bit longer to come out due to being under staffed.. just have to be patient. Good food, good people..I recently ordered out my fav chicken and rice soup and it was a bit disappointing. It was more like a whole chicken breast, whole piece not shredded with a little broth. Just shred the chicken. Other than that, usually on point.

This place is alright.. I had to take my family out to lunch. There's girls sitting next behind me talking damn loud. I barely have a hard time listening to my family, just two of us are hearing impaired and 2 hearing. Getting our service as a little bit behind and I can understand the service is very extremely busy dealing with others customers. I ordered a chicken mole that's very strange taste with peanut butter. I suggested not to use a peanut butter.

Really good food! Really nice being outside. Horrible service. The waitress seemed really annoyed or bothered. Only 2 tables at the time. Wasn’t busy enough to be stressed. Tried saying hi how are you? No personality what so ever! Will not be returning.

The restaurant when you walk in is so beautiful. The staff are so nice and friendly. Rosa was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful. The reason for only 3 stars is because the food was not as good as the rest of this place. It was mediocre food. Carne asada and shrimp fajitas was ok but the chunks of veggies were to big and the carne asada was not tender, tamale was dry, chips were like bagged Tostitos and the salsa tasted like just tomatoes. The cheese enchilada, the chicken enchiladas, the rice and beans were bomb. I would have given this place a 1 star if it wasn’t for the amazing waitress Rosa, she is the only reason I would go back. You don’t find service like that ever and she was worth coming back for. I really thought this place would have the most amazing Mexican food but it was so far from what I thought. Service is a 10 though.

They changed the way the chicken and rice soup taste...it's salty. I remember the essence of cumin and finding delicious slices of well cooked garlic when I was younger. In order to achieve that taste, somewhat, I had to dump all of the salsa in my bowl. Then it was finally suitable. Nearly all the tables were I was seated were dirty and there was rice all over the floor. That being said, they still have Great portion sizes for the price!

We ordered drinks from the bar, and were seated quickly. We arrived during Happy Hour, I had the mango Margarita which was delicious. I ordered the Spinach enchiladas. They were bland and the Spinach was bitter and slimy. My friend had the Albondigas soup, he said it wasn't very good. Neither of us were able to finish our meal. I would return again for drinks, but not for the food

Holy moly! This place is fantastic! I've only gone here for holiday Christmas parties but each time it was amazing. The food is amazing and tastes great, the drinks are crafted deliciously. Although the "fishbowl" is expensive it tastes amazing as it's like 64 ounces plus you can keep the glass. Waitstaff are extremely attentive and the atmosphere is beautiful.

There were too many flies/insects in the dine in bar area. You need a door blower. The food is for people who like fake Mexican restaurants. No flavor and not great. My server was trying her best and not that attentive. I went to the bar area to get my own drink. He was awesome(the bartender), and I gave her (the server) a 4 for effort. It's hard to be successful in the environment provided. Womens bathroom falling apart, sink dripping into buckets. This place needs a whole remodel. Two of us got sick after eating. Ps: If the owner reads this, I hope you take a loan and reinvest into your establishment because you know it needs to be done. Rediscover your flavors and drinks. I wish you the best! I wrote this a week later since from when I actually went.

The Chile Rellenos are Excellent, the beans and rice Great. The Menudo is Delicious.

Great tasting authentic Mexican cuisine. Our server was delightful. The beer was not stale The margaritas were good. Music would be the only thing to turn this into five stars all around.

The star missing is because while they’re completely have an enough staff you still have to waive your hands for the waiter service. I don’t like to blame all the staff but this happened twice to me. Everything else is good, I mean the good margaritas and the good meats here.

It's been some time since we last visited. It wasn't the same. Food wasn't that great, as l remember. We decided to give it another try. I'm glad we did. The food was delicious service, which was a little slow. Still, the food made up for that. I have always enjoyed coming here since my father-in-law introduced us back in the 80s. He has passed now, but he's always with us in spirit when coming here. Thank you, Mexico Cafe, for the memories ❤️.

This place is very good. When we got there, it wasn't very busy but the woman seating us was taking a while to seat us and she kept leaving and going to other rooms. Nonetheless, we sat down and they brought us chips and salsa, which was very good. The waitress was quick to our table to take our order and drinks. She was very generous and kept refilling our chips, salsa, and water. It didn't take long for the waitress to bring out our food and my gosh the food portions were enormous. When I order the carnitas plate (which was very cheap) I did not think that it would be much food, but it was huge. They give you a large plate of carnitas, a bunch of guacamole, a bunch of rice, lettuce, and tomato salsa, only for $19. All the food portions were massive and not very expensive. It was not the best food but it was still good. In conclusion, the prices were very good, the food was good, and the employees were nice.

Went for lunch today. Staff was very friendly. Chips and salsa were great. Got the Deluxe Chili Verde Burrito and it was delicious. Been going here for years. Never had bad service and all of the food has been great. Margaritas are bomb. Try the Mia Tia - pretty tasty. Dessert are good. Definitely recommend this place. Top 5 for me.

Never got our servers name, but she was great. Buffet was really good, service was amazing, had a fun time with her. Menudo and pozole were some of the best I've had! Brunch is a great deal with a good amount of options at the buffet including a taco bar, omlette bar, all the soups, waffles, enchiladas, chilaquiles, esquites, Chile Verde, and more! And mimosas included. 100%bworth it for $31, if I recall. We spent a good amount because we stayed forever and drank a lot more outside of the mimosas.

I love their Mexican food. Great Sunday brunch. Their prices are reasonable and the margaritas are the best. Good for family size events. Only thing is it gets packed. Popular and police supported.

Food was delicious as expected. The atmosphere inside is very inviting and the decorations just add to the experience. I also had a strawberry margarita which was just as satisfying. House chips and salsa were offered as we sat down. Two dinner entrees, three alcoholic beverages came to around 80$

Everything is freshly made and tastes delicious. Service is good but it does take a lot time for the food to come.

We hadn't been there since the pandemic so it was really nice to be able to sit in the patio and enjoy dinner and have a good margarita😁. It was also nice to see and be remembered by Sally. She is a sweetheart. Our waitress was really great. A really nice dinner.

We actually ate here twice in one weekend. We had an anniversary meal and 2 days later our daughter wanted to meet us for lunch here. No problem because the food is amazing! Dont forget to try a dessert at the end of the meal!

Mexico Cafe has always been a family favorite. I've gone with a party as small as 2, and as large as 26, and still the service is amazing. Very fast serving, friendly and lively staff, delicious food, and plenty of chips and salsa. I would highly recommend their Taco Salads, with rice added inside. They are good without, but this makes them all the more filling. I have been told their Margaritas are pretty on par as well.👌🏻 A good place for a reasonable and enjoyable, sit-down meal, for a party of any size.
