Dr. Bernard has been taking care of some of my family in SW Florida for quite some time now. They are ecstatic with the care they have received at Gulf Coast Direct Primary Care- it is timely, effective, compassionate and cost-effective. The direct primary care model works for many different types of patients! For a low monthly fee in addition to insurance premiums, insured patients finally have primary care that is available and accessible when they most need it. This means no waiting two or three weeks for an appointment when you are sick today. In this regard, there will hardly be a need for urgent care on the weekends or after hours. Uninsured patients who are members of this model can at least put themselves in a position to have the majority of their health care managed by their primary care office, by a doctor who knows them. This is in stark contrast to what most uninsured patients are forced to do- bounce back and forth from urgent care centers, to different doctors who are not familiar with their case! Dr. Bernard and her staff provide excellent care. You are never rushed during your visit and they do a great job making sure all your questions are answered. The monthly cost is well worth it and you will often find the Medication discounts will provide enough savings to cover that cost. I highly recommend them.

I have a huge phobia of needles and Dr. Bernard made me feel at ease about a needle and blood tests for the first time in 10 years! Short wait, and easy appointment!
