It’s was a Saturday morning, I was picking up a rental car from Hertz. I was a bit early and was just sitting around waiting for them to open. I looked over and saw the sign Aux Delices Bakery and Cafe. Hmmmmm, so what do we have here? Yep I was hungry. Hadn’t had my coffee yet that morning. I thought maybe I should check out this tucked out of the way little Bakery. I walked in and found a very clean, quaint little artisan bakery. I met Anna who was creating some delicacies. Very warm and hospitable woman. The assortment of pastries was quite large. Everything looked amazing. Well crafted and presented. Like little sculpted pieces of edible art. I decided to try the Quiche Florentine with a cup of coffee. My wife ordered a few pastries for us to try. We had the fruit tart and a blueberry pastry. The quiche was very good! Right amount of spinach and cheese. The crust was excellent! I don’t like dry crust. I believe it ruins a baked food. Not this crust, flaky and firm. I have to say the pastries were just as excellent! The blueberry pastry was a favorite for me. The fruit tart was very good, my wife absolutely loved it. The fruit was fresh and the tart had a pleasing flavor with the perfect texture. This is a place to try! It made my wait so well worth it! It’s small little local gems like Aux Delices that makes exploring our hometown so enjoyable! Thanks again Anna for such a nice delicious morning!

Being French I barely give a 1 star, this place offers very few items, food quality is low and unimpressive. The most disappointing was how rude the owner is, the cashier tho was very sweet. I do not recommend anyone to go there as they will be disappointed

Food, and pastries were delectable. The interior could use some sprucing up though, it looks old and dated. Will stop by again for the pastries!

While at the Sanibel Island Sunday farmer's market, I made note of their address. Visited their store, was worth a visit. Is a real boulangerie patisserie! Can recommend any fruit tart. They also make deli sandwiches for lunch.

Had a lot of fun chatting with the pastry chef (possibly owner) about south France baked goods (such as what he makes) and some of the things you see out of northern france. Almond tarts, chocolate filled eclairs, french baguettes, hot ham and swiss croissants were all quite good, as are the cappuccinos. We will definitely be returning and recommend you to stop in for a delicious breakfast or a sweet treat.

Authentic French Bakery all baked fresh from scratch daily using recipes passed down for generations. The cold desserts are as beautiful as are they delicious and meticulously prepared.

This place is amazing! I love to get my breakfast and deserts from there because they made everything from scratch (it’s an artisan French bakery) the taste and flavors from this food are not gonna be founded anywhere else!. It’s an exclusive place located in Fort Myers FL they should open an LLC in more places because this place have to be everywhere in the country <3

It was my first time visiting this little pastry shop. The staff member was so kind and welcoming. There are many choices to chose from such as croissants and pastries. Chocolate croissant and almond croissant were very good. The fruit tart so delicious ! Definitely recommend!

This is without a doubt the best restaurant/bakery in the entirety of southeast Florida. From the top tier customer service we got to the delicious food. This bakery cafe is a most for anyone in the southeast area. You will absolutely enjoy every single bite, and just like me. You will fall in love with this place. If you come, I suggest to try the raspberry tart and/or Croque Monsieur. Highly recommend!

Absolutely 💯 %. I had to buy the ciabatta bread before it was gone. My bacon, egg, and cheese on a lightly toasted ciabatta was fantastic. I would travel high and low for a fantastic bakery like this. It took me 45 minutes to get here, and I'm planning more trips and bringing friends with me, and thank you for your warm hospitality. I felt so welcome! My breakfast sandwich was done in such a short time and so delicious I wish you were in Port Charlotte also! Until we meet again, yours truly, Celia Ann Kropp

OMG! is my first reaction to the experience I've had. Firstly, Thank you Anna for such great food. I rate this place 10/10. I came into Aux Delices Tuesday afternoon desperately trying to find a place who specializes in European dish's for a luncheon I was hosting for work. Anna greeted me with a warm smile and suggested that we tried the ham and swiss croissant as one of the main entrées. I purchased 10 ham and cheese croissants and 10 chicken salad croissants. We also ordered 20 of her items on display (Sweet tarts, eclairs, cannoli's, Coconut macaroons, cookies, and we had a side salad as well. Anna promised to have everything ready by Thursday and as promised, our order was ready by the preferred time. Everyone LOVED the food. They even asked where it was located. LOL. We from Therapy Treatment Team truly appreciate her services. Thank you again. We will be back for sure!

When we travel we try to search for owner operator Businesses. We look for scrath made ,hands on Bakery shops. AUX Delices met our expectations. Fresh bread and pastries in the display cases and still sitting on the work tables gave us the confidence that this is one of those hidden gems

I really wanted to like this place. The lady that helped was helpful but only 1 item out of 4 sweets that I ordered was good. Which was the chocolate almond croissant. The macrons , chocolate and strawberry cake all tasted like fridge. I don’t know if it was old or if it was the fridge but they had a funky taste.

I just saw this place yesterday and it's right next door so figured I'd give it a shot. I read other reviews and there was a lady that made special trips just for the white chocolate brioche so I got that , a chocolate croissant and a coffee. The coffee=5 stars , the brioche= 5 stars and the chocolate croissant 4 stars. It was excellent! The coffee is way better than Starbucks!

My "Go To" spot for the freshest croissants in Lee County. Delectable tarts, quiches and cookies. I can't resist their cheese danish with a cup of dark roast coffee.
