It was nice. Although I didn't swim, the suites were comfortable to stay in. The rooms were clean, as well as the bathrooms. The place also feels pretty secure and well-guarded.

We went here for my cousin's wedding. Awesome place! Lots of amenities. They have two pools, restaurant, playground, function halls, and a bar. There's also a spa and a convenience store, but they weren't open when we were there (was probably on maintenance). The restaurant had a decent range of food, albeit pricey. If you're getting breakfast meals, get the porkchop! It's superb! Pools are quite spacious and has a lot of things on it like a cold jacuzzi among other things. It's not that deep, though. 5 feet at most. Rooms are nice and clean. It's got a TV with cable, AC, showers with heaters, water heaters for coffee, and spare bed cushions. Although the power outlets are few in our room, so you might want ti bring a spare outlet extension or powerbank. The parking in the area is a first come, first serve basis, so it can get crowded sometimes. Overall a nice and fun experience! Can recommend!

This rating is supposed to be 4.5 Stars. Kabaleyan Cove Resort, Inc. seems to be primarily designed as a multiple-pool resort that offers a number of pools accessible to guests. They also have function rooms with different sizes that can be used for various functions. Their function rooms are much better when compared with the function rooms of similar nearby resorts. We have stayed overnight several times and have primarily availed of their room service and spa services. Room - We have used the Deluxe Room (2 pax) & the Junior Suite Room (4 pax) on different occasions for an overnight stay. They offer complimentary breakfast. - All the rooms we used were clean, & provided with clean bedding & towels. The "no smoking" policy helps to keep the room clean & fresh. - They have shampoo & liquid bath soap dispensers in the shower, & a water heater for the shower. They provide complimentary bottled drinking water. The shower heads in the rooms we used seem to be broken; only fine spray/mist of high-pressure water comes out. - The rooms have a closet, dresser/vanity mirror with chair, small dining table with chairs, a bedside desk with a lamp. They also have cable TV, telephone, & free Wi-Fi. - The Deluxe Room we used on the 2nd floor is smaller than the one on the ground floor, but the 2nd floor rooms have balconies. Given the glass doors that open to the balcony, it is quite tricky to completely close the blinds to make sure the people outside would not be able to see inside the room through the gaps between the blinds. - We just find it unfortunate that too often, the air-con units in the rooms we've stayed in, do not work properly (e.g., one did not cool enough, one did not oscillate the fins). They use inverter window type air-con, so they take hours to cool down the room. Parking - So far, there is enough parking when we go during off peak season. Not sure how parking is during the peak season. - For the Junior Suite Rooms, we could park close to our units (off peak season). - For the Deluxe Rooms, parking is farther. Service - Reservation was quite easy via email or mobile phone. It takes them a day or two to reply to email & text messages. And, to confirm reservation, a 50% down payment is requested. The down payment can be deposited in their bank account. - The personnel we interacted with from Reservation, Reception, Room Service, & Check-out were professional & polite. - We are glad that their spa personnel are also professional & polite; no "hanky panky", just real & professional spa service. Ambience - The layout, design, & colors used give the resort a clean look that is pleasant to the eyes & gives the resort an upscale feel without the expensive rates. The resort seems well maintained; even the driveways are clean, free from trash. - During our visits (June & September), given the inland location & relatively flat landscape, the place could get too warm. It would be great if they could plant more trees on the property; trees that are big, with strong branches & thick foliage to offer shade. - When pools are filled with people, the noise can be heard even on the 2nd floor rooms. On the ground floor rooms, people talking while walking outside can be heard. The battery-powered vehicle of the resort can be heard inside the ground floor rooms as they pass by. Said noises are manageable. - In one of our visits, after we entered their main gate, there is an area on the left (near the gate) where stagnant water accumulated. On subsequent visits, said area was dry. Hopefully, whatever was causing the accumulation of stagnant water was addressed. Food - So far, the dishes we've had are OK. Like the Chopseuy, Beef and Mushrooms, Daing Boneless Bangus, Beef Tapa, and Beef Papaitan (although the Beef Papaitan is quite salty for our taste). Given the size of the servings, their prices are reasonable. We will definitely continue to stay at Kabaleyan Cove Resort, Inc. whenever we need a place to stay in the area.

The environment itself is very relaxing. Clean surroundings, friendly and accommodating personnel. Safe place, there are roving guards. More parking space. Spacious and clean room. Has balcony. Safe and secured, it had doubled lock. Fully air-conditioned room. Has a private pool for exclusive for check-in clients. Loved their breakfast menu.

This is my 7th visit to the resort since 2019, and the place hasn't changed, but a new building is being built for more convenience to add more family fun. The resort is still as good, if not better than I last visited. May I suggest getting next to the private area pool. It's a little extra charge, but it's worth it. We will visit again. Thank you

We love it here. Everything is perfect except the WiFi. It keeps on disconnected. 😭 My husband was annoyed because he was doing some work. Free breakfast is delicious and beef tapa is very taste homemade and soft. We definitely go back here for sure.

The resort's compound is clean and location is close to restaurants, church, public market, and shopping malls. Reception staff is very friendly and courteous. Servers in resort's restaurant are ver accommodating. However, rooms need some TLC. We prefer to stay here during vacation in San Carlos city.

We did a Sunday swimming outing on April 2, 2023, from 1030 to 1600hrs. The main staff made us feel welcome when coming in and going through the pool gates. The pool was clean, and the chlorine was not too strong. Our main concern is that the lifeguards / staff should enforce the rules ... there were instances of teenagers diving into the main pool, splashing other people without permission, and using hard basketballs to throw around. This could have been dangerous to the many children around. The pool area and the children's pool need a re-paint, and the rough edges should be sanded down, especially on the water slides. The area is starting to show its age, but with some TLC it will be back in form. The restaurant staff who took our order, and their delivery to our poolside table was particularly good, and the chicken tenders and BBQ meal were okay. We did enjoy our visit and we would be happy to come back.

I visited the area as my wife is a native of Pangasinan, and we stayed in our house just minutes away. Being from a quiet English village, after 9 days, I got fed up of the dogs barking, cockralls, and traffic noise at night, and decided to find a hotel. There's some very dodgy looking ones near by, so I settled on the Kabaleyan Cove Resort. The good: We used the public pool facilities, which are great for adults and kids, and had music playing. The entry price was very cheap. I stayed in the deluxe room for five nights, and it was clean, with fresh sheets and towels daily. Breakfast was served promptly via room service, and the food quality was very good. The massage facility was very pleasant, cheap and included Swedish, Thai, and Shiatsu massage. The service provided here was excellent and my wife and I returned twice. The private pool, available to hotel guests was a particular highlight, and my wife and I enjoyed a couple of hours to ourselves. The facility is very safe and secure and is monitored by security, who stop cars passing in and out to perform checks. The not so good: Laying down flat, I scrapped the skin off both elbows coming down the yellow and green water slides, causing blisters for the remainder of my holiday. I highly recommend avoiding these, as there's inadequate water flowing, and the steps leading up are worryingly rusty. There was no attendent monitoring at the top, no warning sign. Although not intolerable, the air conditioning unit in the room was a little noisy. The bedside lamp didn't work. The cable TV had very little English speaking channels, and the signal was poor anyway and dropped out frequently. The first night was shared with a lizard, and after that had departed, it was replaced by several locust type bugs. I guess this is kinda to be expected in a tropical country. Saturday night was spent next door to a group of eight guests who were up until 2 am partying, shouting outside my door, and slamming their door frequency. I complained twice to reception, once at 1am and again at 2am, as the hotel rules state that guests should keep noise to a minimum after midnight. To their credit, security resolved the issue on the second occasion, and thankfully, the other four nights were quiet as the noisy party only stayed one night. All in all, I was impressed with this facility and would stay again. It's clear a considerable investment has been made by the Filipino owners, and expansion and improvements appear to be ongoing. I hope that my negative comments are seen as constructive, as the owners are doing a fantastic job in providing much needed jobs to the local community, and increasing tourism in the area.

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-day, one-night stay at the hotel. The receptionists were adept at handling customers, and language wasn't an issue since they were proficient in English. Our room, as I mentioned, met our expectations given its price. There were numerous room options available, all at reasonable prices. The pool catered well to children and families, although it might not be suitable for those seeking a deep swimming experience. The hotel offered a variety of activities that guests could try out. On a less positive note, there were instances of rudeness from some of the staff. For instance, during breakfast when we were not finished yetβ€” I was still enjoying my coffeeβ€”the waitress cleared our plates. This made me wonder if I should also hasten to finish my coffee, or if they could have waited for us to leave before cleaning up. Despite these instances, overall, we found our time there quite enjoyable.

As far as swimming goes, the teens really enjoyed both the public and private pools. But as for the adults, i rated the night life experience as PG ( parental guidance ), because we were sent back to our rooms for the pools and restaurants closed by 9 pm. The older type aircons made it hard to sleep due to their noise factor, or perhaps i was not drunk enough. Oh well, only daytime visits there now.

Good value for money - clean resort, affordable spa, with free breakfast at the restaurant, 3 large pools - 2 public and 1 private. They have ample parking spaces, a separate admin office and a tram to take guests around. I requested for massage room service for my PWD mother, and they initiated to take her BP first to ensure it is suitable for her. Currently, they are having an ongoing expansion!

Because of confusion with hotel and Agoda we were forced to pay the full Rack rate rather than the agreed Agoda lower price. Then we were accused of trying to defraud the resort with fictious agoda details (for 290 pesos!!). Then Duty Manager at first confirmed the accusation before eventually offering a discount but her authority only ran to 100 pesos. The owner over the phone held that we had walked in and had to pay the walk in rate despite having a copy of the email with the lower price. Breakfast was poor and the treatment of guests terrible.

I rarely write a review but we just spent a lot of money here for a wedding event. First night all kinds of issues with room. Then we asked to be transferred to phase two which is the better area. The room was fine. We rented a family room for family for wedding and wanted to use it for people getting ready. The wedding was 4 pm. They didn’t want them to get in room till 2 pm. How would that work with a wedding at 4 pm? They wanted to charge for a 1.5 hour early check in when a room is not occupied. I told them after my first disastrous night in room 18. No way will I pay extra the money I have spent here . The wedding was nice. The red running carpet was nasty needs cleaned or replaced because dresses get dirty. The food at the wedding was very good. They have a convenient store was never opened. The eating establishment was so so. Pool closed to early . They keep adding on to the resort in phases. It is clearly a money game all the way. Staff was nice but the events coordinator was simply awesome. Check it out and you decide for yourself !
