Kabaleyan
Cove
Resort,
Inc.
seems
to
be
primarily
designed
as
a
multiple-pool
resort
that
offers
a
number
of
pools
accessible
to
guests.
They
also
have
function
rooms
with
different
sizes
that
can
be
used
for
various
functions.
Their
function
rooms
are
much
better
when
compared
with
the
function
rooms
of
similar
nearby
resorts.
We
have
stayed
overnight
several
times
and
have
primarily
availed
of
their
room
service
and
spa
services.
Room
-
We
have
used
the
Deluxe
Room
(2
pax)
&
the
Junior
Suite
Room
(4
pax)
on
different
occasions
for
an
overnight
stay.
They
offer
complimentary
breakfast.
-
All
the
rooms
we
used
were
clean,
&
provided
with
clean
bedding
&
towels.
The
"no
smoking"
policy
helps
to
keep
the
room
clean
&
fresh.
-
They
have
shampoo
&
liquid
bath
soap
dispensers
in
the
shower,
&
a
water
heater
for
the
shower.
They
provide
complimentary
bottled
drinking
water.
The
shower
heads
in
the
rooms
we
used
seem
to
be
broken;
only
fine
spray/mist
of
high-pressure
water
comes
out.
-
The
rooms
have
a
closet,
dresser/vanity
mirror
with
chair,
small
dining
table
with
chairs,
a
bedside
desk
with
a
lamp.
They
also
have
cable
TV,
telephone,
&
free
Wi-Fi.
-
The
Deluxe
Room
we
used
on
the
2nd
floor
is
smaller
than
the
one
on
the
ground
floor,
but
the
2nd
floor
rooms
have
balconies.
Given
the
glass
doors
that
open
to
the
balcony,
it
is
quite
tricky
to
completely
close
the
blinds
to
make
sure
the
people
outside
would
not
be
able
to
see
inside
the
room
through
the
gaps
between
the
blinds.
-
We
just
find
it
unfortunate
that
too
often,
the
air-con
units
in
the
rooms
we've
stayed
in,
do
not
work
properly
(e.g.,
one
did
not
cool
enough,
one
did
not
oscillate
the
fins).
They
use
inverter
window
type
air-con,
so
they
take
hours
to
cool
down
the
room.
Parking
-
So
far,
there
is
enough
parking
when
we
go
during
off
peak
season.
Not
sure
how
parking
is
during
the
peak
season.
-
For
the
Junior
Suite
Rooms,
we
could
park
close
to
our
units
(off
peak
season).
-
For
the
Deluxe
Rooms,
parking
is
farther.
Service
-
Reservation
was
quite
easy
via
email
or
mobile
phone.
It
takes
them
a
day
or
two
to
reply
to
email
&
text
messages.
And,
to
confirm
reservation,
a
50%
down
payment
is
requested.
The
down
payment
can
be
deposited
in
their
bank
account.
-
The
personnel
we
interacted
with
from
Reservation,
Reception,
Room
Service,
&
Check-out
were
professional
&
polite.
-
We
are
glad
that
their
spa
personnel
are
also
professional
&
polite;
no
"hanky
panky",
just
real
&
professional
spa
service.
Ambience
-
The
layout,
design,
&
colors
used
give
the
resort
a
clean
look
that
is
pleasant
to
the
eyes
&
gives
the
resort
an
upscale
feel
without
the
expensive
rates.
The
resort
seems
well
maintained;
even
the
driveways
are
clean,
free
from
trash.
-
During
our
visits
(June
&
September),
given
the
inland
location
&
relatively
flat
landscape,
the
place
could
get
too
warm.
It
would
be
great
if
they
could
plant
more
trees
on
the
property;
trees
that
are
big,
with
strong
branches
&
thick
foliage
to
offer
shade.
-
When
pools
are
filled
with
people,
the
noise
can
be
heard
even
on
the
2nd
floor
rooms.
On
the
ground
floor
rooms,
people
talking
while
walking
outside
can
be
heard.
The
battery-powered
vehicle
of
the
resort
can
be
heard
inside
the
ground
floor
rooms
as
they
pass
by.
Said
noises
are
manageable.
-
In
one
of
our
visits,
after
we
entered
their
main
gate,
there
is
an
area
on
the
left
(near
the
gate)
where
stagnant
water
accumulated.
On
subsequent
visits,
said
area
was
dry.
Hopefully,
whatever
was
causing
the
accumulation
of
stagnant
water
was
addressed.
Food
-
So
far,
the
dishes
we've
had
are
OK.
Like
the
Chopseuy,
Beef
and
Mushrooms,
Daing
Boneless
Bangus,
Beef
Tapa,
and
Beef
Papaitan
(although
the
Beef
Papaitan
is
quite
salty
for
our
taste).
Given
the
size
of
the
servings,
their
prices
are
reasonable.
We
will
definitely
continue
to
stay
at
Kabaleyan
Cove
Resort,
Inc.
whenever
we
need
a
place
to
stay
in
the
area.
