a review from amom2kidsandapark.com A beautiful park in a quiet neighborhood of San Carlos! This place feels so secretive. The entrance is barely noticeable from the road and the two back ways in are tucked in a neighborhood or behind a business’ parking lot. Along with the two gated playgrounds, Laureola Park has open grassy space, a ball field, a basketball court, a handball wall, picnic areas, a community center with a lovely mural on it’s double doors and a splash pad. The taller of the two playgrounds has a two-story structure with steps, ladders, two slides (a long sidewinder and a short bumpy), an angled climbing wall, and activities. The taller slide is only accessible via ladder. There is a small picnic bench inside the gate and very close to the structure. This gated area also has a swing set with standard and chair swings. The flooring was super squishy and I loved the little silhouettes of woodland creatures and acorns found throughout. The other gated playground is adjacent to the first and there is an entryway from the first. The second is geared more towards smaller kids, but the different balancing and climbing elements makes it fun for all! There is a small boudler with an attached slide, a hut, a balance beam, and a play structure. The play structure has a double slide, arch ladder, angled rock wall, a disc ladder, and activities. The style balance beam at this playground is so unique! I’ve never seen another like it. It's called a Ripple and when you walk on it it feels like you’re walking on ripples of water! There is a swing set with bucket-only swings and a picnic bench. Exiting via the big playground or through a separate gate will get you to the picnic area with bbq. There is a restroom with a water bottle fill station! Easy street parking on Bayport Ct or Bayport Ave. In the parking lot off of Old Country Rd behind Heating Supply Company. If you come hungry there's a Mexican spot nearby called El Maguey and although we didn't eat there it smelled so good and looked pretty busy!

Really great little park with tons of options for kids. Multiple playgrounds and a water pad. Baseball for the older kids. Public restrooms that are the cleanest I've seen in a long time.

Great neighborhood park right by the San Carlos Caltrain station. Picnic tables, clean bathrooms, toddler playground, and a large softball (?) field. Great spot to have a picnic lunch, and/or to hangout with kids.

Great park for peace and quiet. It's a little hidden so u mostly get the people who live in the area or the workers that know about it nearby having their lunch. It includes a park for young and older children, swings for children with disabilities, a splash pad, baseball diamond and handball/basketball courts.

Much smaller than Burton park, but I like that because there's also 1/20th of the people.theres a big kid park and a little kid park. Only qualm that I have is that it seems to be frequented by homeless, although they stay to themselves near the benches.

Unusual, large log house-like play structure and large slide. Smaller child play ground with varied, natural rock feel. Small playground separated from large playground by locking fences. Large grass, ball diamond area. Short but full court basketball(only shootaround allowed during pandemic). One tennis wall. All arranged to have easy view of children wherever they are.

It's a smaller park with a large grassy area for soccer and baseball, basketball court, a water feature area that turns on in the summer, picnic tables, restrooms, and two gated play areas each with swings: one for small kids (4 or younger as the structures are quite small) and another for older kids (more ideal for 5+ since the structure is two stories tall). There's some tree shade in the mornings and afternoons over the playground so it's not too hot. Sufficient dedicated parking and the restrooms are usually pretty clean!

It is a small park but big enough to have a family barbecue. We do not have any idea why the field was to muddy cause we haven't had any rain recently at all, but we hat a lot of fun playing football soccer and softball. You have to bring extra clothes cause you will get really dirty😁

Noisy park next to the Caltrain station and an office strip mall. Weird location but the green is large enough to let people and dogs run around.

This hard to find park is a San Carlos gem. Great playgrounds for big and little kids. Big field with a baseball diamond. Water features in the summer. Reservable picnic area with several tables and a grill. I hold birthday parties here. It works nicely. We often have to deal with sports practices during our party set up, but they are becoming more courteous over time.
