San Clemente, CA - A must stop at this Starbucks in town to take a caffeine break for the rest of the trip home (another 2 hrs!). A nice little store in this beach town, busy, staff was alert at greeting each and every guest that walks in the door. A good feeling to be acknowledged and given priority as excellent guest service delivery should be. Good job to this team as they got my yummy warmed up cookie and latte in no time.

The staff her seem to have favorites with dogs. They let certain dogs hang out inside while tell others that they aren’t allowed in. Very confusing would be nice if they just would do one or the other instead of kicking me out mid line while other dogs where inside and clearly not service animals either.

Waited 20 minutes for an iced tea when everyone behind me in line received their fancy coffee drinks in less than 10.

Really nice staff. Good coffee. And they open early. Good parking when you go early. The parking gets tricky after 8am or so.

I use To work at the Starbucks. Derek's been going to it since it open Nothing extra special and the Patio gets a nice sea breeze blowing in. My favorite is their grilled cheese and passion iced tea.

When I asked a staff person (barista) about the status of a mobile order, she looked at me like I was such an abomination for questioning her work pace. Mind you, I had been waiting 10 minutes and watched people come and go that arrived after me. I showed her my order time and submission on my phone and she walked over to the printer, to grab the printed sticker. She didn't even acknowledge that she missed it or just simply apologize for the minor oversight on her part, and additional waiting on mine. She just mildly rolled her eyes and proceeded to make the drink. I see this incident as proof that this 20-something year old generation: 1) can't ever be wrong or questioned; 2) customer service with a smile is dead. I wish they'd learn a simple acknowledgement goes a long way. Now I'm just annoyed and writing about it on Google and vow to never return to this location again- I'll go to Diedrich down the road, instead. I know, for a fact, their staff feel less entitled. They actually appreciate the business.

Fast friendly service. Clean bathrooms. No drive thru, though the app says there is.

The lady making the drinks was rude just because I asked for a pup cup even though the whip cream was in her hand. I was told next time I needed to order it at the register. I had ordered online which doesn’t give the option to order a pup cup. It’s just sad that she had to be rude about something that took her less then 10 seconds to do. I came down to get my Birthday coffee! Happy Birthday to me I guess!!! This is not the first time that I have heard her be rude to a customer just because they dare say something to her. Before my drink was ready she rolled her eyes at the customer before me because she asked for a sleeve for her hot drink!!! Some people aren’t meant for customer service!!!!

Great Starbucks, but, I had by accident ordered an iced chai instead of hot. I asked the barista if I could get a new one willing to pay and she replied with an attitude saying, “um I just finished making it”. As a previous employee, I try my hardest to remake a drink if someone doesn’t want it anymore or changes their mind last minute, stuff happens. After the rest of my drinks came she asked if, “ am I still making it?” And I told her no. A good employee would’ve just made it nonetheless.

Starbucks always has and always will be the best place to go to get any kind of coffee or any other beverage you want and they have pretty reasonable prices I go here as much as I can and I love it especially getting the extra shots really helps you when you need that extra boost without making you all shaky like a lot of other things

I came here all the time on my break from work, around 4 pm. I could tell the girls couldn't handle the rush. But now they've adjusted their yours so they close at 2pm?? Forget this place. What kind of starbucks closes at 2pm?

Best Starbucks in south county. The manager and all the employees are amazing. Super friendly and fast service, and they always get the order right no matter how busy they are. The place is always clean. I love starting my day at this store because I know the rest of my day will be that much better

Great location to stop and have a coffee with lots of outside seating with the ocean breeze. Expect a little wait because this place is busy and mostly a lot of online orders. Service is super friendly and as always the coffee is good.

The one downside to this Starbucks is no designated parking lot. There is a lot across the alley but it’s now labeled for private use. However, there’s always street parking close by. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and seemed to genuinely care about their work environments and be passionate about the company. The inside is quaint with four two-top tables along the window wall opposite the cash wrap and an extra two in the back corner. It’s pretty consistent with other Starbucks locations in terms of menu, items, merchandise, drink quality etc.

My wife and I were on our way to L.A. to visit my father when she wanted a Starbucks. Since we were in San Clemente We found one on Google. 300 S.El Camino Real. When we went to order our Coffee drinks the person taking our order Chad to have it repeated 3 different times. Finally, after placing our order, we were waiting for our order when my wife noticed one of the help cleaning a fresh made drink with a dirty cloth they picked up out of the sink. She then asked did I see what he just did. I said no. But, just as I looked I saw him clean the top of the lid with his apron. Then after that our order finally came after 25 minutmes. But, they got my wife's order wrong. Not once, not twice but three times. When we left we decided to wrote a review and let anybody who frequents this particular establishment. Watch your drink. It may have been cleaned the same way. As for us we WILL NOT be back.

I love this Starbucks and everyone who works here!!! Exceptional customer service!! Julia is amazing and puts a smile on my face every time I come in!
