Very exciting and interesting exposition and museum. Nice practical shop with jerbal products. We liked the place! You just need to use translator for some texts in Spanish.

Grass Roots effort to preserve culture and knowledge. Could be something more in the future. In 2018 it still has a ways to go as far as an informative museum.

I guess there must be a lot of useful information and material to enrich the museum expositions. However, it looks like an abandoned place. So sad, as the mayan medicine is at the hearth of the ethnic cultures in Chiapas and Yucatán

Amazing community-led effort to spread understanding of traditional practices here. Learned so much and really enjoyed the video and the displays! Don’t miss this — it is absolutely worth the donation of 25 pesos, aka barely more than one US dollar. Consider buying some herbal remedies for things like headaches, fever, & menstrual cramps, or a pamphlet to further support their efforts.

It's a strange place in my opinion. I think that much more info could be provided about the healing plants and maybe provide English captions in the rooms rather than a rather tired book. Unfortunately didn't work for me, though I appreciate their support of indigenous communities and their customs.

An important organization to support and it has interesting information in many languages. If you're looking for a fancy museum experience, this isn't it. But it is beautiful and informative and important.

Horrible!!! Don’t go there! The museum consists of one dark room without any interesting information. We paid 25$ per person for absolutely nothing!

Not much to it...video at the beginning was the most interesting but there's many more interesting places to go

Nice museum. The way there is also worth it e.g. little pigs in the market and food places for locals. Inside knowledge of Spanish is useful but you'll get some explanations in French, German, Italian.

Not too big but very informative and highly interesting museum on mayan culture and medical practices. Highly recommend to use the paper guides (available at the entrance in different languages) which brings lots of useful info. It is very cheap and worth it! Also recommend to take a cab from the center to reach it as the museum is not in the best part of the city.

Been here before and it's great. But right now, Sunday afternoon it's closed

The place is very unique and informative, especially for those interested in ancient healing practices. Please not that there are posts online that the museum was closed permanently but they are open again for the public. You can also support by buying herbal remedies made there.
