My
stay
at
Casa
Gaia
was
not
really
pleasant.
Good
things
first,
it's
really
well
located,
has
a
well
equipped
kitchen
and
a
pool/ping
pong
table.
However
there's
no
hostel
vibe
at
all.
The
majority
of
people
are
long-term
residents
or
volunteers
who
behave
as
if
they
own
the
place.
It's
a
nice
community
for
them,
but
I
didn't
feel
welcomed
at
all.
They
barely
greet
you
and
the
only
communication
happens
when
you
play
music
they
don't
like.
During
our
stay
they
told
other
guests
what
to
do
and
what
not
to
do
and
complained
about
other
guests.
Even
in
the
kitchen
you
felt
very
unwanted,
because
they
were
occupying
it
almost
all
day,
leaving
very
little
space
for
other
guests.
Not
the
owners
fault
but
the
techno
club
next
door
was
playing
at
max
volume
starting
Friday
at
3pm
and
Saturday
at
8am
continuing
all
day.
I
can
definitely
not
recommend
it,
though
it
could
be
really
nice
if
it
wasn't
for
all
the
above.
