As someone who was overweight, completely inactive, and wrote off going to a gym for several years due to the environment, I absolutely love Teqneeq. I spend several hours a day here because there's no where else I'd rather be. The staff AND members are incredibly helpful, welcoming, and friendly. I love the rules implemented because they were all issues I had with gyms in the past: everyone cleans their station after use, and everyone is incredibly respectful of the gym and of one another. People aside, the equipment are all top notch, clean, and there's never been issues with out-of-order stations. Overall, its a zen facility with a great atmosphere, and thanks to Teqneeq I actually look forward to working out.

Teqneeq is an excellent gym. VERY clean with high equipment. The atmosphere is just different and different in the best way possible.The staff are always helpful and friendly. I joined this gym a little over a year ago. To say that it was _instrumental_ to my mental/physical fitness recovery would be an understatement. I've been conflicted about writing a review for this gym because I didn't want it to be inundated (it is THAT good). This gym has the most mindful and intentional owner/leadership I have seen in a private business. It's immaculate. It's deliberate. It takes its mission seriously and expects the same of its clientele. My favorite aspect of this gym is how it expects from its customers what it expects from itself. It's serious about being serious. If you want a place to workout without the clamor; the phones; the crowds; and the fluff -- well, this is the place.

I’ve been in to fitness & lifting weights for over 35 years. I’ve done everything from bodybuilding, to Power Lifting, CrossFit, Spin Class and Olympic Weightlifting. In my honest opinion Teqneeq is a great gym for any of those exercise modalities. It’s super clean, and all the equipment is extremely well maintained. The owner, Dom and his staff are very responsive to the needs of the members. Dom is always looking to upgrade the facility and bringing in the best & newest equipment to provide the most epic training environment in all of San Diego. If you’re serious about training, or just a recreational lifter who wants a great gym; you’d be hard-pressed to find a better facility anywhere. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend you take a tour and decide for yourself.

As private as a commercial gym can be. The concept of self check in and premium facility is far superior to the big chains. Pricing is reasonable given the availability of an entire facility and access to equipment. Ive been able to try different circuit workouts and haven't had to conflict with anyone else. If tired of fighting for equipment or wanting to join gym and value your personal space without high school kids everywhere, this is the one.

I've been to a lot of gyms over the years, and this bar far is my favorite. The ability to go when I want, 24 hours a day & 7 days a week, is priceless. It has the perfect mix of equipment between: cardio, free weights, and isolated strength machines, a room for boxing and cycling, one for stretching, one for classes, etc... The facility is always well kept and organized. The staff does great at keeping it that way, and so do the members. Everyone here seems to really care about their home gym, and everyone I've talked to and met there has been extremely nice and welcoming. You definitely have to try it for yourself.

I scheduled a tour last minute and email response from the team was super quick! I met with a trainer/staff member named Dawson! He was super courteous despite me being 5 minutes late to our scheduled time for the tour. And as he showed me the facility he remained patient with my questions. I also really appreciated how much effort he put to make me feel at ease, at no point did I feel like I was being sold a product. I signed up for the gym membership precisely because of how respected and heard I felt. I look forward to meeting the rest of the team as I use the facility!

I have been with Teqneeq for one month now, so I figure it's a great time to leave a review! (Before going to Teqneeq, I was a long haul member of your local big box gym. I did not enjoy going there, I just felt uncomfortable and out of place. I went maybe 10 times in 5 years) Once I started with Teqneeq, I have put a workout in every day that I can spare some time. It's a breath of fresh air, I never get nervous working out here. Every piece of equipment is meticulously laid out, and not to mention... intuitive for the beginner! The gym is clean and temperate. Fantastic place to work out. It's well equipped with a great variety of cardio and weight equipment. I love the 24/7 access with the key FOB. I have been with teqneeq for now a month, Switching from a commercial gym to teqneeq might have been the most beneficial choice for my fitness career. I used to go to a commercial gym and it was always so busy, dirty and a complete waste of time since everyone loves being on their phones. I have been a member since May and I have not regret it one bit. I love training at Teqneeq Health Training Center. Not only is the gym open 24/7 their equipment is TOP notch. I love the private fitness rooms stocked with everything you may need, boxing equipment, wind bikes, rock climbing, to the indoor and outdoor turf. Finally a true Functional Training gym. This place has THE BEST equipment and tons of it so never wait again for a machine. Also, tons of cardio equipment ( again , never a wait) Locker rooms cleaner and nicer than any gym I’ve been too. The staff is professional and helpful. This place gave me the motivation to really work on my fitness. Oh and it’s open 24 hours which is great for me. I am rare to review but this place well deserving.

I truly appreciate that Teqneeq has opened up because there is nothing else like it and it's everything I could want to see real results. After sifting through other facilities in San Diego, I finally found a place where I feel happy, comfortable, and energized. I've only ever met mature and friendly members. You don't feel rushed with your workout because of crowds or limited hours. There's so much equipment, I'm doing something different all the time. It's much more intuitive and enjoyable.

You are paying for a quality gym membership, not a commercial gym experience that you’d get at 24 Hour Fitness or LA Fitness. I’ve been a member at different gyms for 16+ years and have never found a gym like this anywhere else in the country. Personal trainers that work here are independent and are able to charge their own rates, which is better for the trainer and client. This is a gym for everyone that wants to go to a gym to get a great workout.

I've been going to Teqneeq for about 5 months now, and I LOVE IT! Here are the top 5 reasons why. (there are way more) 1. It is a very large gym and it is never busy, I have never waited for any equipment or space ever. 2. It is always spotless, everything is organized and all the equipment is maintained and regularly serviced. 3. The members are all courteous, they put away the equipment they are using, and they clean it too! No loud music or people videoing for social media, no one on the phone. 4. They have SO MUCH equipment and space. I cannot think on one piece of equipment they don't have. From heavy Olympic weights, sleds, cable machines, free weights, isolated weight machines, battle ropes, medicine balls, kettle bells, pull up bars, TRX, dip bars, rowers, ski erg... Plus they have a large boxing area with a variety of punching bags, areas for yoga, jumping rope, turf for lunges or other ground exercises. 5. No vanity, just people who want to work out. It is just a few dollars more per months than LA Fitness but 1000 times better. LA Fitness was probably good in 1995. LOL!!

I was very eager to try this gym since several friends had done so already. Personally im a very busy and blessed person who had a hard time getting there within staff hours since i work from 7am- 8pm at times However DAWSON WAS SUPER HELPFUL with getting me a day pass , walk me through the gym, letting me know their prices and what could work best for me. Tried the gym out and DAWSON EVEN stayed some minutes after his work hours to get me signed up in no time. ALSO BECKY was very attentive and helpful over the phone with like 5 questions i had.. Both their attitudes were down to earth and pressure free !!! GYM IS BEST I BEEN TO !!! -side note- ITS FREAKING COLD HERE ! Teqneeq is the best gym in San Diego. Members are welcoming and willing to help push you towards unidentified goals. The staff treats you as if you were family. Teqneeq’s trainers are educated individuals with unique and beautiful personalities. The weight room equipment and atmosphere is second to none. They have plenty of free weights, squat racks, machines of all types, turf, remarkable bathrooms, etc. You can have a much more pleasant experience because members are not texting, taking pictures, flexing, endlessly talking, etc. They have everything you would want in a gym and more.

Currently in America, we are inundated with corporate gyms that possess little to no appealing characteristics. Each are carbon copies of one another (Golds, LA, Planet Fitness, EOS, etc) and treat their members solely as a statistic. Having the experience of working out in each of the aforementioned gyms for approximately 20 years, I can assure you that Teqneeq is the polar opposite of the “big box” gymnasiums, and a breath of fresh air. From the first day I walked into Teqneeq, I was greeted by the owner/operator. I was welcomed and treated like a human being and not another commissioned based sale. From my perspective, I could tell that he cared what my purpose was in seeking membership. He gave my wife and I a tour and explained to us the multitude of fitness opportunities and state of the art equipment the gym offered. The support staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and aware of the logistics that sustain continual successful day to day operations. Another significant improvement in Teqneeq’s operations versus other gyms is their commandments. These guidelines ensure safe practices for gym members and keep everyone accountable while working out in the facility. I would strongly recommend Teqneeq to anyone who is interested in becoming a member and pursuing their fitness aspirations and accomplishing their goals.

I went to this gym with my brother and his son. At first sight I was in awe, this was the most amazing complete gym I’ve ever bin in. I’ve never seen so many types of workout equipment. With 4 separate rooms with 2 up stars. It’s fantastic I would personally recommend this gym, you got to see it for yourself.the staff are super friendly it’s just simply the best !!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been going to this gym now for almost 6 months. My honest opinion is that it is one of the best traditional gyms that I've ever been to. If you want a gym that's 24hrs, has great equipment, a lot of space and where you can do your own thing it really is the best. One of the things that stands out is the culture that the amazing staff and owner have built here. They have a set of golden rules that their members follow and it's what sets this gym apart from the others. Seriously, no creepers. Everyone is super respectful and nice. Members will clean up and wipe off the equipment after they have used them. The staff is very welcoming, helpful & attentive. Overall this place has a really great vibe to it and I would recommend it to all my family and friends.

Absolutely love this place! Private gym with amazing equipment (no other gym will have a reverse hyper!) you can tell the owner has a passion and knowledge about fitness. There’s at least 2 of everything so you never have to wait for equipment you want. The people that come here make it feel like home, they are all so friendly and welcoming especially the front desk staff! If you’re looking for an amazing gym, that is actually affordable this is the place! 10/10 recommend.

Can't say enough good things! I love Teqneeq! Great ownership, friendly staff and awesome community of people serious about health and fitness. There is a wide variety of equipment for all different styles of working out. There is a huge turf with sleds and tires, as well as tons of dumbbells, barbells, bumpers, plates, ropes, and of course a bunch of machines, both plate loaded and weight stacks. The best part is there are so many racks to lift on that you never have to wait your turn to squat/bench/deadlift, even on a Monday at 5 pm! I've met alot of great friends here. Also 24/7 access is a huge plus!!

I am an avid lifter, been lifting for 15+ years, and have belonged to 9 different gyms. This gym is without question the best I have belonged to. They have truly perfected the way a gym should be operated. There are a few things that separate this gym from the rest. 1. They are open 24/7, 365. With my schedule I often have to workout at times most gyms are closed, they solve this problem. I have even worked out on Christmas morning too. 2. It is never crowded and I never have to wait for a bench or machine. They limit the amount of members to insure the place is never crowded. 3. They stay out of your business. If you are certified to personal train this gym provides you a place to work without taking an overhead. It’s a great community of people, I have made numerous friends that I will have for a lifetime. Everyone here understands the gym and that it’s a way of life, not a trend. The value of this gym greatly exceeds the cost, and because of this I will never leave. Like I stated earlier, they perfected how a gym is operated.

Great gym! I was at my last gym for 30+ years but had enough of going to a busy gym and EVERYONE is sitting on equipment texting, facebooking, instagramming, playing candy crush, etc… Teqneeq has everything you need without having to put up with all of the idiots who’s idea of going to the gym is spending 98% of their time on their phone. The staff is great! The place is spotless and has plenty of equipment so that you never have to wait and can get your workout done at whatever pace you go at.

I only have positive things to say about these gym! The facility is very clean, spacious and there’s a large variety of equipment available. The staff are very diligent and helpful with whatever I need assistance with. Would highly recommend.
