It’s been a year since I first reviewed this business and I’ve noticed a lot of views on it so I would like to provide an update on my experience, as a lot has changed. I no longer come to this practice because no one answers the phone or returns my call when I leave a voicemail. I typically sit on hold until the voicemail picks up, after being redirected by an answering machine. It doesn’t really matter what time of day I try calling, as I have experimented with many different times of day from open to close. I don’t waste time contacting this office any more and typically go to an urgent care or a specialist when I need to be seen. The doctor and NP’s are still very nice, but the desk staff are not on top of things, which has deterred me from wanting to, or even be able to, schedule. Original review: Everyone in Dr. Hamidi’s office is very friendly and quick to assist. My visits are always stress-free, as I’m in and out fairly quickly, which is not the case with most doctor’s offices. I typically see the NP on staff, but have also met with Dr. Hamidi—both are very nice and take the time to speak with you about your questions/concerns. I do not have any complaints and would highly recommend these providers for anyone looking for a PCP in San Diego!

BEWARE SCAM: This woman has a Groupon available and over the last 2 weeks I’ve called and the phone is disconnected or the office is closed anytime you call. They never send a text as they say they will and when I tried to schedule online I get a notification my appointment is cancelled for no reason… no one calls to reschedule or anything.. Very scammy and shady business practice. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor before. Dr. Hamidi is great. The staff are all really kind. Have been going for years. I feel cared for and understood. Awesome job guys

I have been with this office for 4 years. They used to be awesome, now not so much. They no longer have a doctors office style blood pressure machine, they only have one of the ones you can buy at Walgreens. The staff are nice enough, but not exemplary. They never answer their phones. The care doesn’t feel personable. Last visit couple visits I waited an hour past my appointment time. They recently denied my medication refill with no explanation and I can’t get them to answer their phone to save my life. I will 100% be finding a different provider.

Dr Hamidi is great. She is easy going and takes her time. My kids feel comfortable with her.

The best doctor in my entire lifetime. She was very caring and understanding but firm with her recommendations. She was willing to refer me to specialists if needed and her office helped me make sure my insurance covered it. The office was well managed with little wait time. I'm writing this since moving from San Diego and I wish she could have moved with me because finding another physician like her is hard!

Thank you Dr for your prompt response to setup appointment and then follow up with county right away. I am extremely happy tohave the prescription to start the mediation.

Dr.Hamidi is a good and caring doctor. She always listens to my concerns and help me with it. Office staff are very nice and friendly. I am very happy to have them.

Could you respond to the calls made to your office on the numbers given on the Groupon App or even the number given on Google? It's ringing and nobody is picking it up. I have called like 20 times in the last two days on 5 different times during each day. Why would you put up deals and ask to call in for an appointment when you don't want to receive calls? Sorry had to use this platform to reach out to you! Or else mention an email which could respond in time.

Love Dr Aileen I see her maybe 2-3x a year and she always remembers me and asks about my wife and son. Never late, always has the answers for me. She’s an amazing person and clearly loves caring for people.

I appreciate the professionalism and experience of Dr. Hamidi.I have confidence in her approach and options she presents. The office staff and medical assistants are friendly and seem competent and well trained The FollowMyHealth patient portal for communication and records is adequate and the staff is responsive and updates my info in a timely way.

Dr Hamidi takes time with me at my appointments. She’s a good listener & provides me with good healthcare.

Yes thou my reasoning was not apparent in my blood work for my visit Dr. Hamidi check something else that may be affected and help me with other issues. It is my goal to bond a closer medical relationship with Dr. Hamidi. As right now my cardiologist only knows what’s going on. Thank you for going the extra step.

I brought my grandson in for a required physical exam prior to his departure for boarding school. Our appointment with Dr. Hamidi was on time, thorough and professional.

Professional and helpful MD and NP. However, we interact with the MAs more frequently than Dr Hamidi. Unfortunately, the MAs are not responsive and lack attention to detail. I’d include screen captures of the back and forth rhetorical and dismissive messages from one of the MAs but will keep their names private. The newer staff members seem to be more on top of things though. Nevertheless, I would not recommend this office despite the highly professional doctor and NP. We spent an unnecessarily excessive amount time following up with the MAs due to their lack of attention to detail and dismissive attitude.

Dr. Hamidi has been my family doctor for about 20 years. She's done outstanding keeping me healthy over the years and I feel I'm in good hands with her as my doctor.

She is an amazing Dr I'm a new patient but she has made me feel very comfortable with her.. especially since I am a trans person who still has female related things she is super sweet about everything

I love Dr. Hamidi. She is knowledgeable, kind, very professional and warm, and when needed, offers immediate appointments on short notice. I had a fall resulting in abrasions and a foot wound, recently and she had me come in within the hour, getting me a tetanus shot within the recommended 24 hour limit, and referring me for further care. Her staff are friendly and professional too.
