This location just opened. Fries came out before the chicken, but at least everything was hot that way. Fries were very good. Chicken breading was crispy and the sauce tasted great. Some pieces of chicken were more tender than others, if they were all tender it would have been perfect. But still a very good meal!

So happy that the Carmel Valley area now has a really good outlet for getting Korean fried chicken. If you haven’t tried it, I definitely recommend it.

If you never had to Korean fried chicken you’re definitely missing out. At Bonchon they hand batter each piece in flour and potato starch then double fry to crispy goodness. 🍗 Fried Chicken: super crunchy and juicy, love their soy garlic sauce 🍲 Bibibap: chicken, white rice, quinoa, veggies all served in a stone pot 🍝 Tteokbokki: rice cakes simmered in a spicy broth with fish cakes 🍝 Japchae: glass noodles, veggies in a soy garlic sesame sauce 🌮 Bulgogi tacos: loaded with tender marinated ribeye The newest location in Carmel Valley is very spacious and has plenty of parking too. Definitely a great spot to get your fried chicken fix in!!!

My kids always beg me to get Bonchon chicken. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the chicken is fresh and delicious. They love their chicken and fries. Last time we tried the spicy noodle dish tteokbokki which are rice noodles in spicy sauce covered with melted cheese. We did not like the flavor and it was too spicy. So we would not recommend that dish in particular. However the chicken is great.

Highly recommend the Soy Garlic wings (not pictured)! The bibimbap was a bit flavorless. My friend and I ordered the bulgogi and fried tofu bibimbap, but we felt like it was a bit bland.

Modern ambiance, attentive service. I ordered spicy chicken Bibimbap, and it's good but not impressed.

Food is really good! The pork buns and fried chicken, especially. Definitely try once. Service was OK. If fries are going to take half an hour to come out of the kitchen, warn your patrons.

I absolutely despise when owners understaff restaurants for profits. Saturday night full restaurant has taken 20 min for them to take our order and another 15 to get a requested fork. again not the staff fault, but the owners. I won’t be supporting them with my money again.

Good fried chicken and flavors. If you take out and have toasted them in you oven. It tastes even more better and crispy.

My family loves Bonchon, but the clairmont location is so packed. This location is bigger, with more parking, less people, and quicker service. 10/10! Always get the japche!

Great food delicious and clean environment and customer service and friendly.. He was Asian guy he was super nice and hard working..and good customer service!! Thank you I am lucky to know this place. I will come back again!!

Everything was a home run here. They handled my rambunctious little one's toddler shenanigans very gracefully and served me and my family delicious chicken and noodles. I wouldn't serve KFC to a dog these days! It's terrible. Bonchon is excellent and very glad to have one so nearby.

One of the best chicken places around. My only issue is that ,they had this rug at the front door 🚪 that I tripped on ,but I caught myself. For some reason they had a chair blocking the other door.
