Really positive experience. The entire team are super friendly and explained the procedure, costs, etc. Dr. Zimmerman is amazing, the procedure was painless and they were able to replace my crown the same day. I’m new to San Diego and didn’t have a regular dentist established yet, but definitely found my new dental provider and highly recommend.

Best Dentist EVER! No only are they up-to-date on cutting edge Dentistry they are kind and compassionate. I have been going to both Dr. Zimmerman and Rens for almost 10 years and now drive 2 hours to see them for dental care! Updated 9/7/23 - This post is old - it is still 100% accurate. I had a dental emergency and Dr. Zimmerman was there for me early and got the issue completely resolved by Noon!!! Can not speak loudly enough about how wonderful every one in her office is.

Dr. Rens was awesome. It was extremely apparent he had my best interest in mind - not making the most money on this visit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I am confident I have found my new permanent dentist!

Dr. Zimmerman & Dr. Rens are the best dentists ever! They truly care and provide a personal experience. You don’t feel like you’re on a dental office assembly line. They are so skilled, discuss their plan of care with you before treatment, give you options, and listen to your concerns about your teeth, pain, anxiety/fear and your budget. Huge plusses: Besides regular dental cleanings, fillings, etc. Dr. Zimmerman has made my crowns in ONE VISIT and Dr. Rens has done my root canals. Their work is of the highest quality and my smile and healthy teeth & gums are proof! Both practice with such skill and gentleness. They are honest and don’t overcharge or try to upsell with unnecessary treatments or products. I can’t say enough about their expertise. I’ve been seeing Dr. Zimmerman for over twenty years. She is a phenomenal dentist and I trust her completely with all my dental care. She is honest and caring with all her patients.

Have had this dentist since I was 18. Dr. Rens has always taken good care of me! Kind and knowledgeable. The staff are all very professional and the office is very inviting. There is street parking and a small parking garage under the office.

When I relocated to San Diego 25 years ago, a colleague referred me to Dr. Rens and I have been a patient since. At that time, I had various dental problems and Dr. Rens established a treatment plan that got me on the path to healthy teeth! Dr. Rens is thorough, gentle, and patiently explains procedures. Dr. Zimmerman has filled in when Dr. Rens is not available on the day needed, and she provides the same outstanding level of service. They maintain a very aesthetically pleasing, calm, and relaxing office environment. 12 years ago I relocated to North County, and changed physicians to local physicians; however, I did not ever consider changing dental practices. My experience with Drs. Rens and Zimmerman exceeds my expectations and I am very fortunate they are my dentists.
