This bar is a staple on Adam's Ave. I used to love this place but recently had a bad experience. I won't be going back.

The staff is always so nice genuine and easy going. We always feel welcome walking in. The menu is perfect for a small pub. The Double Royale is the Best cheese burger to me its not to big but perfect sized with 2 patties cheese and the fixings. The beef and cheddar melt is also soooo good with a side of their garlic parm fries which one side is more than enough to share.

Rosie O'Grady's is a long standing corner pub and has all the feel of an Irish Cheers.

My parents (65 and 70 years old) came here last night to grab a quick drink. Upon walking in, an employee shouted across the bar at them that they needed to show their IDs, despite the fact that they are very clearly not under 21. When my dad went to show him his ID, the employee demanded that he take it completely out of his wallet to be seen and did so very rudely. My father is 70. Because of his poor treatment of them, my mom told my dad they needed to leave because they did not deserve to be yelled out by an employee at a bar. As they walked out, the employee then came outside and shouted at them, "I GUESS YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR IDs THEN." This service and treatment is rude and inappropriate, and it is absolutely infuriating that any employee anywhere would treat my parents or anyone else this way. Our family will never return to this business and will tell everyone we know that this is not a place to go if you want to be treated with dignity and respect.

Met the owner who is a great person. My parents had their name on the wall of the old wine bar and he went out of his way to find it pull it off and give it to me. Also it's a nice place for hot afternoon drink in San Diego, good music, service, ac, and atmosphere.

The service here on a Friday night was terrible. One of the bartenders was high or drunk or both and kept taking orders and not following through. I gave it 3 stars because, as a native Chicagoan, the Chicago dog was shockingly close to a genuine Chicago dog. If you are a midwesterner missing your fav hot dog, this is a great option!

Great neighborhood bar! Friendly regulars and very friendly staff! Couldn't recommend this place more. And, the only Irish Pub I know of with a disco ball!! Don't miss the pop-up grub!

Don't tell anyone that this is a great bar. They will ruin it. It's a locals place and we are friendly but please be cool and be NICE to your bartenders. They are badass and make the spot a killer hangout. Plus they do live music.

I saw a 7 foot tall man named Jon eat 10 baseball-sized fried cheese balls here. Good music, too.

I came in here with my Service Animal, I was refused entry. I notified the bartendar my retriever was a Service Animal and offered to show credentials and still refused. Just thought I should share this feedback. Giving this place a 1star.

Great bar to start your night off. Has a “local” bar feel and the interior is very intimate. Offers relatively great prices on alcohol for bar prices.

My first visit since they rolled out the new food menu. The hot and spicy crispy chicken sandwich was excellent and a great sized sandwich for lunch. The Bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and created a welcoming environment.

It can get crowded when it's busy, but it's one of the best bars in Normal. Great staff, great drinks.

Not Irish in any sense of the word. Bizarro bouncer outside asking ID's from people who had 4 kids already. Oddball place with a weird vibe.

Very busy little bar with what felt like a neighborhood hang out. The music provided by Israel Maldonado and his group was top-notch. Can't wait to see them there again.

This is a a great place to grab a drink and be entertained by live bands or DJ on some nights. Always smiles and loud laughter all around. It is a mixed crowd of locals, regulars and sporty people. The drinks are priced at a typical bar price. The energy and ambience is eclectic and electric. You can always spark up a conversation as everyone is welcoming and friendly. The crew is awesome and attentive and jive well with each other and customers. I guess you can say I'm a fan of this place and feel like it's my home bar kinda like the show "Cheers" only more hipster.

The new (2019) owner is a great person. I mentioned my parents had a mini plaque wall in the old wine bar, he went back and removed it me without me asking. Its also great for a hot afternoon in San Diego, good music, drinks, ac, and atmosphere.

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this great place. happy to tell that we passed a outstanding evening and the restaurant was clearly one of the reasons for the happy evening. The stuff helped in a graceful way, the cooking was very good and my buddies were extremely overjoyed. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

We love this bar, it's a local spot with friendly faces and the bartenders are always nice. They do get super busy on the live music nights as well as Sunday football. This is a Bears bar for sure. Great energy and even on mellow nights it's an easy spot to have great priced drinks and hang out with your friends. Don't forget to order food if the kitchen is open, super tasty, hang over cure or if you just have the munchies. The loaded tots and burgers are awesome. Thanks for always being such a great neighborhood bar!!

Great locals pub that attracts visitors from around San Diego with live music, extensive beer collection and menu. Famous Monday night Jazz Jam brings in some of San Diego's top talent.

Absolutely lame bartender service, not worth the cost. Better choices on Adams
