First thought … How is this place open? Restaurant had to be at 5% capacity, but service was slow. Had to ask for server, after waiting to place drink order for more than five minutes. Placed order, food came out quick. Presentation was nice. Food… ugh. Not. I had the lobster and shrimp bite appetizer. Shrimp cooked ok. There was more shrimp than lobster. No surprise. But, the lobster were dry pieces of thin claw meat. I may have had one decent lobster bite in the whole bunch. The breading on the lobster was about super thick and doughy compared to the shrimp. The fries were not up to temp. It was not enjoyable. The fish tacos, the reason I came, looked great. The taste… just blah. The cabbage had a bad bitter after taste that was just really unbalanced. The fish portion was so modest. I guess that’s why they put it on top. Overall, I will not spend my money here again. The only thing I enjoyed were the chips and salsa and it was complimentary. Update: Server had manager refund the lobster & shrimp bites. So, I appreciate that… but, seriously quality issues.

Had a blast here. Similar to Joe's Crab Shack. I do recommend.

Lobster tacos, my new favorite! Great service for a crowded convention lunch schedule. They seated us and brought food out without a long wait. We had a great time!

We got there early on a Tuesday, 4P ish, and sat inside at the open windows to avoid the blaring music on their patio seating. The place was mostly empty, and I had to go find a service person. Once we got that out of the way, the service was good. Ordered some Cadillac Rita's that were on special, they included bits of fresh fruit and were tasty. Had cups of Lobster "bisque" that were full of bits of Lobster and vegetables like corn and celery. Recommended for flavor. Stuck with tacos to keep it a light dinner, Tres Amigos were amazing, and with a creamy sauce, Chingones were just ok. Be aware of the 5% surcharge on your bill.

Cool little spot in Gaslamp. Had a pretty decent atmosphere with an interesting menu. I got the Fish and Chips bucket which was in my opinion, just ok. The fish itself was fine but the breading was kind of just there or spongy. The wife got the fish tacos which were great.

So here’s my honest thoughts about this place.. I was visiting San Diego.. and my friend chose this place for dinner.. and I will say it did not disappoint. Must be one of the best tasting seafood tacos I have had. They make their own sauce. We ordered the Tequila Lime Shrimp, the Baja lobster style 1 cocktail 1 mocktail and the chips and salsa were complimentary. And dont forget to try the fried ice-cream… this was the first time I had ever tried fried ice cream.. so I have 50-50 views on it.. I If you are visiting this area or are already from this area and havent visited.. must give it a try,..

WE STRAIGHT DEMOLISHED our food! Two of us shared the Baja Bucket and a Caddie Rita in a fishbowl. It was more than enough and completely satisfying! We are gonna have to go do a few laps around PetCo Park to work off these extra calories! Well worth the $100 bucks. Highly recommend….

This is my go-to place every year I come to SDCC. Got the three amigos tacos (shrimp, steak, and lobster) Service is always fantastic. Only thing I sorely miss was the self-service chip and salsa bar. I always look forward to their mango salsa. I understand it's probably because of Covid precautions and supply issues, still I miss it. Hopefully next year it will return

Food was very and so was the service. My favorite is the shrimp and lobster bites Appetizer , I don't even eat lobster usually but this was sooo good. I had the blackened fish tacos that was good too. I had the Mango tango drink that was good. Our Server Amber was very nice and efficient .

The food was delicious. They have a decent Happy Hour selection of drinks and quick bites. The buckets are a great deal. Highly recommend if you're downtown San Diego. Service was excellent but a bit slow to approach the table in the beginning.

Great food! I did go for the simple three tacos combo and you get a bowl of nachos free with every meal. They have a big salsa bar insight at which you can choose from a variety of salsas ranging from sweet over sour to spicy. Loved the place and the atmosphere!

Great for a quick, more fast-food meal. The food is good, not great. Recommend if you need a quick bite to eat. Don’t miss out on the Jalapeño Bacon Wrapped Shrimp!

Excellent location in the gaslamp district with delicious food and nice chill atmosphere. There are tables in different locations, so you can sit outside and people watch, sit inside and meet with your friends or sit downstairs in a more quiet area. The food was tasty and I was full. I took one star because it was not busy at all when we went (there were at most four tables occupied) and yet it took a long time for staff to come to us and take our order. It took so long that we almost left. And then it took quite a while for even the drinks to show up. I can only imagine how long it would take when it is busy!

Located in the heart of the Gaslamp District this is a good place to grab a bite to eat. Be warned though it is VERY loud inside. At times it was hard to hear our server and table mates. Also some of the tables are very small. They sat 4 of us at a 4-top but our drinks with dinner plates barely fit on the table. It was very crowded. They have many televisions around the dining areas and during our visit, sports were playing. The server Ruby was friendly and attentive. She checked on us often and kept our drinks refilled. They serve chips and salsa with the beverages. We ordered the poppers and they were enjoyed by everyone. They weren't too hot. The dinner entrees were flavorful and portions were hearty. Some options like the Epic Burrito is enough for two light eaters to share. The fajitas were seasoned well and you get a lot of tortillas, beans, rice, and guacamole with it. The lime rice was delicious! The taco platter ordered was a variety with a lobster, beef, and shrimp taco. The taco shells were filled and the meal was filling. The enchilada and taco were served with soup, beans and rice. The food was good, the service outstanding, but not sure we would return due to the extremely loud atmosphere. If you like that type of a place and aren't looking to converse with your tablemates, this place would be a great option for you!

I went here for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing. We shared the original baja bucket. It's worth the $69 for two. Came with 16 shrimp, 4 4 oz. lobster tails, 1/2 steak, 1/2 chicken, 2 grilled corn, and all you can eat rice, beans, and tortillas.

Came for an early dinner and had a good experience. I had the Lobster Lover which I enjoyed, but the flavors of all the elements sort of merged into one. Helpings was very generous though. Although I didn't get to experience it first hand, the place felt like it would really come alive for the evening and night crowd.

We had a group of 8 people and they seated us within 20 minutes during dinner rush. I always get one of their fish owl margaritas and they never disappoint. We got the Big Baja Bucket and it was well worth the value. Tons of good food, we left feeling absolutely stuffed. I don't think there was a single thing in the bucket that we thought wasn't good.

Absolutely delicious! Four of us shared the Golden Sombrero Bucket which included 2 full lobsters, king crab legs, shrimp, steak cooked to your preference, chicken breast, Mexican style corn on the cob, refried beans, cilantro lime rice and tortillas!!! We also ordered a pitcher of the spicy mango margarita. Everything was tasty and service was efficient. Will definitely go back!

Food was good but rice is a little bit under cook. The don't have picks or shears to use for the crab legs. Crackers for the lobster claws don't really work. Asked for a serving spoon for the beans but I got plastic spoon. They ran out of silver ware. For a restaurant whose price is about $$-$$$, not a good excuse.

I have been here twice and the service is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable. The drinks are flavorful. When I come down to San Diego I will definitely stop again.
