You should be impressed by the range of shopping options available here. If you think they are missing something, just submit a written request. Written requests work best because they leave what's called a paper trail. When you follow the paper trail, it can sometimes lead to places you never expected. I think if it leads somewhere super cool, that would be a great short story that could be expanded into a novel or mini series, depending on how interesting the characters are and what kinds of funny situations you can get them in. What if the main character worked for an international recycling conglomerate and all his friends were made of aluminum. I mean, think of the possibilities. Or maybe writing isn't your forté after all. No worries, there's always customer service.

This Walmart has made some significant changes and it was pleasant to walk through. Didn't have what I wanted but cool nonetheless.

I don't know about everybody else but I hate having to track down an employee just to get something because they decide to lock every single thing up. yeah I understand there is theft and that is a method of loss prevention but it is really inconvenient for the customer. some people want to just be able to walk in the store grab what they need and go to the checkout without having to deal with anybody.

This is a shopping 🛍 mall I've been coming to since I was a kid. The light up girl twirling a button is a landmark. There's lots of parking . A large Walmart. Sam's Club . Chunky Cheese 🧀 etc. Very close to the freeway located atop a hill . Also close enough to a variety of other close stores and stretch malls. A good San Diego location.

High paced , long lines but it's closest to my home. I like this place cause of the people who work there . They go out of their way to show me where an item is and their no hassle returns are just what a unsatisfied customer needs as a remedy . Great work guys !!!

Walmart, the monopoly store, they have almost anything you can think of 🤔,But they are not any more cheaper prices like 10 years ago, Walmart was famous for the cheap price. But no more. You have to select items because there are a lot of low quality items. And not so great prices anymore. 😕

Are used to go to sams club when I’m there sometimes target. The parking lot is always pack. It’s hard to find parking. There’s tons of people with lots of good deal especially at sams club Target this kind of high price over there but I love sams club but I’ve been a member for years I get all of my meat there and all of my alcohol.

The Grove is a good place to shop, but if you are not a fan of large, wearhouse stores, there are two of them here. Parking can be challenging. But the Chase bank at the north-east corner of the Grove, has a great parking lot, and plenty of parking.

I LOVE the curbside pickup! I HATE when in store shoppers park in the pick up spots! There's only 8 spots! R u people so LAZY that you can't find a spot in the HUGE parking lot?

It's definitely the same but different than Neighborhood Markets in other states. You pay 10 cents a bag and a 10 cent fee for items that are plastic or aluminum. Otherwise, prices were pretty comparable, which was shocking for me. I heard stories about items costing more, but that was simply not the case.

Nice large Walmart to shop at. MNy other shopping choices, good food court and our favorite Regal Theater.

Very unsafe, saw people shoplifting during the day at Target - poor security guards tried to stop them but couldn't do much, they just saw them leave the store. I do praise them for staying calm and not putting the customers at risk by arguing with the robbers.

The marketplace itself is cool has almost anything you might need Wal Mart target kohls Ross chase mission fed Rubio's Sam and ash music store sam's club Sally's beauty supply super cuts Starbucks plus a few other stores Walmart is horrible especially this one I can't believe how much harassment and liability issues as well as defective products and very cramped this store is laid out wrong.... I wish I didn't have to shop at Walmart but I can't too expensive and far from home .

It's a little smaller than the other Wal-Marts ,they do have a large selection of groceries, some misalaniouse items, and a pharmacy. The prices on most items are below most competitors in the area. There is plenty of parking for disabled and general public.

Went to get prescription sunglasses and they were very efficient and very helpful. The process was quick and easy. My prescription sunglasses came in within the time frame they stated.

It was a very nice place 👌, but it could be better, because the service is a little bit slow.

Great spot, Sam's Club and Walmart are right next to eachother. The Walmart is huge and has a wide range of deli (butcher), toys, and food. Great area, go here all the time with family!

It's very congested with traffic and pedestrians out in front of Wal-Mart. You have people parking/stopping to unload/load passengers in traffic lanes. Hard to go around them. They should not be doing it there. It's the only Wal-Mart I know of that needs an armed security guard standing out front of the store during business hours! I remember when Walker Scott store and Orange Julius 🍊 were there, and you parked under the stores. Kind of like underground parking. 1960-1970s. It was called College Grove shopping center. Another reviewer here mentioned the light up sign of a girl with baton. That used to be at the entrance of the College Drive-In Theater up on El Cajon Blvd. and College Avenue. It's a cheerleader neon sign that the public voted it to be saved as an iconic history piece when the drive-in was torn down. It was decided to be placed at this shopping mall rather than destroyed. Probably made in late 1950 to early 60s.

I absolutely love College Grove center it's a one stop shop with a Walmart supercenter where you can get everything you need from Medication to all food items to your under garments. Although it's always packed it's definitely worth it . Good job college Grove looveee it!

Walmart Target Kohl’s Ross Sam’s Club all in one shopping center. Great place to go if you need to go to multiple places. The Walmart has a McDonald’s inside. It is a large Walmart with almost everything. If you can’t find it there you can go to Kohl’s Ross Target or Sam’s Club. There’s also a Chucky Cheese.

I love this store. It seems to be one of the better Walmarts! Nice selection on everything and pretty well stocked. Clean but at times very crowded.

I believe this is one of the biggest Walmart store in SD! Some of the others don’t even have veggie/fruit section! However, I struggle sometimes to find things in stuck. So I suggest going in the morning.

Close and this mall has it all!! It's East County's version of Fashion or Mission Valley. Easy access from the I-8 and plenty of parking.

Quick checkout and they had Lipton iced tea mix in stock and having a McDonald's inside is pretty convenient.

Not as bad as I thought. My Mother disagrees. However, we made sure we could get our items out and head for the exit. Staff were nothing less than accommodating and respectful. Also, I recommend Fingerprint cookies.

My favorite Walmart. Customer Service is outstanding. Plus the groceries are always fresh. I have never had a problem with this location, and I prefer this one over any San Diego location. The only downside can be parking.

  • 3/5 Mad H. 1 year ago on Google
This location is okay. For the area of it, is not the greatest and I worked down the block from it not too far away. They had a lot of out-of-stocks which was disappointing. In my opinion it would be a better shopping experience if they had more staff that was trained properly...

Went to Target, found what I was searching for. 1 cashier seemed a bit cranky. I needed help carrying a ladder, he wanted me to switch lines. When I asked him to grab the ladder, he looked really upset, and DID NOT even gesture to help. He just directed me to an empty line.

Every Walmart brings the ghetto and the wise customer service. This place is no different. Employees are difficult to show courtesy and pride in their jobs. I can't blame them as I don't see supervisors show example of professional and real customer service. You get what you pay for when you come here. True to every penny saved. I wish all employees the best and hope they find a better career that they could find pride in. Good luck

  • 5/5 Kathleen E. 1 year ago on Google
Quick stop. But the employees don't help just stare at you like you're stealing something, even in the self checkout lines. What happened to customer service. No wonder machines are taking over jobs.

Great shopping center. Lots of good shops. Target, Sam's Club, Ross, Kohl's, Walmart, Starbucks, Chase Bank, etc... Parking is always challenging, especially during the holidays but that's life.

  • 2/5 Bunly Y. 1 year ago on Google
Everytime I go to this Walmart I feel like I'm being followed by an employee. It doesn't matter where in the store I am I hear can I help you with something or can I help you find something. I mean it's freaking ridiculous and frustrating. I tell them you guys all always around when I don't need you and when I need you I can't find one Walmart associate.

  • 5/5 Teresa M. 1 year ago on Google
Frequently go to Kohls, Target, and Mission Fed. Always ample parking and have never had a problem. However, because I live in the are, I know to go during the day and keep on the lookout for safety.

  • 5/5 Wilma L. 2 years ago on Google
They are changing stuff around which is good it makes you go on a hunt for the items or ask them but me I like going and look around to find what I'm looking for.
