The restaurant has a good view of the marina. It serves all American dishes. We have to season our food to taste. The calamari is okay. The onion rings are a bit oily though. Staff are very friendly.

A good local and tourist place. The water views during the day are great. Food was tasty and good portion sizes. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was tasty. One of the best dishes I had was the calamari. It was cooked correctly with a great flavor profile. The only dishes as the table that left our group wanting was the tacos. Lack or flavor and the Tortilla was dry. Everything else was tasty and the staff was very friendly. Well worth a visit when in the area.

It was wonderful! Great location. Beautiful views. The food is delicious. Ordered multiple dishes to share and all we're fantastic! Cowboy Burger - yum! Onion rings - yum! Cobb salad - yum! Short ribs - YUM! Finish up dinner with delicious desserts. Truly recommend this place!

Service was good, good menu selection. My Nashville hot chicken was cold. They offered to remake. Should never have made it to the table so I passed.

Beautiful location and amazing food. The fish and chips is absolutely delicious. The coleslaw wasn't very good unfortunately. The Cobb salad with shrimp added on was also very good and would only recommend they use chilled plates. Otherwise the food was wonderful. The biggest downside is the inattentive service. Drinks not being refilled and just non existent waitress and hostess slowness. Otherwise if this place got their food and service on the same level it will be wonderful.

Jimmies NEVER disappoints!! Got stranded here for a month and visited this and a few others here in the Point Loma Marina. Today we had the Albacore Tuna Burger with a side of Parmesan Garlic Fries.. Absolutely delicious and not my first time having it! We also had the crispy Brussel Sprouts also delicious!! Ease come here if you are staying in any of the hotels from Nimitz to Rosecrans... You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful service, and delicious food! Our waiter said she has been working there for 7 years, that only says it's a great place. Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing!!! The burgers are some of the best I’ve ever ate and they have a great selection of beers at the bar. It was close to the hotel so I stopped by to catch the games and drink some beers. The bartenders, Gary and Izzy, were phenomenal!!! The GM stopped by to check on me and he was fantastic, had a great conversation with him. If you’re nearby stop in and see them. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! Also, this is the best view of the harbor!!!!

Place was OK, plenty of seating & clean. Bartender was friendly & attentive. The food menu seemed limited & over priced for basic food (hamburgers, apps & etc) and I did not receive what I ordered.

The food was delicious and the set up was beautiful. I spent about $65 for everything I ordered. A little pricey but its worth it for a nice meal and fancy environment.

This restaurant was amazing. I loved all the food, but my favorite of the night was the pimento cheese (in the duo dips) and the charred Brussel sprouts, which are both appetizers. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and it was great too. The jalapeño scalloped potatoes were phenomenal. Overall, the staff, location, and food were perfect!

Great food and beers right next to the boats. I had a "hangover" burger which was basically the best breakfast burger I've ever had. My brother had the fish of the day and loved it. Would recommend.

Very very impressed!!! We came 30 minutes to close (which we wouldn’t normally ever do) and they were so kind to us and sat us. Impeccable service! Everyone was friendly and very attentive and helpful with our questions. The food was amazing! And I've tried a couple of different items. I ordered hot Nashville chicken sandwich and FIRE 🔥. We also got Calamari and my friend the famous French dip. I love food and the portions are PLENTIFUL! Oh and they had delicious Mocktails- do die for!!! And the ambiance is amazing is great! We were just completely impressed. Jimmy's, thank you for a great experience! Definitely highly recommend!!!

the food was amazing and service was very nice. cocktails are only $10 and they are strong. we came on taco Tuesday for the salmon tacos. with the view of the marina it felt so serene. I loved the albacore tuna melt. toasted with Parmesan just chefs kiss. the house made chips were a little salty but pairs well with the drinks. Also the filet mignon was divine but they could have done better with the potatoes. definitely need to come back for the French dip.

This restaurant have a such a good view. Food is good I had a tuna melt and it was perfect! Their Bloody Mary is also really yummy. Love that they are dog friendly. There’s also bottomless mimosas for $20- sounds totally worth it! (Will def go back for that haha)

Every time we go to JFAT, we wonder why we stayed away so long. Brunch, lunch, dinner, we have almost always been happy. They over stuff their deviled eggs which is our favorite way to start the meal. The burgers seem to be overlooked on top lists of burgers in San Diego but whenever we get reminded of how good they are, we wonder why.

Awesome place for lunch or dinner. You have to pay for parking, which isn’t ideal, but it’s not the restaurant’s fault. Seating is great inside and outside. Outside seating has a great view of the water. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you like fried chicken and mashed potatoes then I highly recommend the “free range buttermilk fried chicken” plate. Also their fried calamari is good to go.

Great spot on the water in San Diego! Simple menu with great selections. Had the Sesame Crusted Albacore Burger and it was good! Did not eat most of the bun as the Brussel Sprouts starter took up space lol Fries were crunchy and tasty.

Dined at this restaurant with a prime view of the marina. The menu boasts a selection of classic American dishes. The atmosphere felt a bit touristy, but the outdoor deck with a view overlooking the marina is a highlight. We tried the burger and fish & chips – both were decent, nothing to rave about. The beer.amd cocktail selection, on the other hand, was quite good. A solid choice if you're looking for a casual evening with a nice atmosphere.

Very friendly and prompt service. Food is fresh and well prepared. Ask for a seat out on the covered patio if you plan to watch the sunset.

Great customer service, as I was unhappy with my selection they quickly corrected the situation and wanted to ensure that I was happy. Also didn't just run away from the table after addressing the situation, the manager stayed and discussed our traveling experiences with us. We sat outside and had a great view of the boats in the water.

Our server Kris was amazing! She recommended some great drinks, even double checked if we still wanted a drink after she discovered it had a higher than usual price. The food was amazing, you can tell they use quality ingredients. The manager Danielle even checked with us as we were paying, she was very polite, and we had a great interaction with all of the staff. We will definitely be returning and making this a regular stop for us!

Probably perfect service; greeted at the door, always attentive, fountain drinks never touch the bottom, MIMOSAS on bottomless mimosa days didn't drop below 1/4 glass, on Mother's day greeted with a sunflower, on Valentines day greeted with a rose. Each employee there that we came in contact with had something wonderful to compliment or share with us. And last but not least, the ambiance is amazing whether stopping by for happy hour, watching a game and eating amazing food, holidays, and/or date night. Jimmy's, you all are doing it right!!! Thank You Oh yeah, the prices are very fair!

Jimmy's Famous is hands down INCREDIBLE! The service is unmatched, from making a reservation to the hostess at the front we are always met with such great service! The service is so good I would sit and have lunch with the staff! They are so friendly and personable. Special shout-out to Robert who brought out a rose to all the ladies for Valentine's Day! And Chantel who was an excellent staff member and provide great service. We were well taken care of. And the food is always made to order and perfect!! We love coming and bringing out of town guests. Can't best the atmosphere, the view, food and staff! 5 stars all around!

Love this place! Calamari was excellent. Battered perfectly. And they even had the legs in there. Michelada was good. Fried chicken and mash potatoes were great. Love that they left the skin in there. Came here for breakfast as well lol. Service was nice and friendly. Thank you staff 🤙🏽

Awesome location right on the boardwalk along San Diego Bay in Point Loma. Delicious food and great Happy Hour deals...the burger in particular was top-notch. Plenty of TVs to watch the games as well. Love the patriotic decorations too. Bring the family or group of friends and hang out on the patio outside, and take in the sights and sounds. A must try!

Food is great. We went on Christmas eve and the service was quick and attentive, and the staff was friendly. It is right on the marina so you can see the boats on the way in or out.

Jimmy’s is located right on the pier in San Diego. Jimmy’s has a large outdoor deck and comfortable seating. They also provide heaters for a chilly March evening by the water. Covid regulations for California were in practice. ( not many masks on patrons) I had the tuna steak burger served singed and coated in sesame seeds it came with two lovely sauces. I also had Garlic fries and my usual Arnold Palmer. Everything was perfect. My travel buddy had the signature burger with avocado and truffle fries. Also perfect.

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. It was little breezy outside and there was nothing available indoor, yet our waiter went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable. He got us a table inside before the food arrived. Great service!

My brother and I went to Jimmy's famous American Tavern, the price seams high, but the taste of the food was excellent. Yes worth every penny. My brother had a tuna melt and I had a prime rib French dip sandwich. I'll go back!

Great food and great service. Came here with my two younger boys and had some great food and great service!! Kids cheese burger was great quality and price and my fried chicken was on point!!! I can only imagine how good the chicken and waffles are 🤤🤤🤤. Will definitely come back when in San Diego again!
