This place has ZERO restrooms and it’s so inconvenient! With the place being as big as it is it should have like 5 sets of bathrooms. Not to mention this entire place has been under construction for years and zero progress has been made so basically every walk way is blocked off with boards. ALSO, every single set of escalators is out of order. For a “luxury mall” it doesn’t feel very luxurious.

I hope I got the lovation right. This mall was absolutely beautiful. You are outside and walk store to store. We went in October of 2019 and I fell in love. You must ho at sunset to see the beauty it holds. The only downfall is if you eat in the food court, there are tons of annoying birds trying to eat too. Still so worth it!

Had a couple of shops and some good eating. Skaters around so watching out for them but for most part it was decent and people are not pleasant. Restaurant we ate at was seafood and they were very delicious.

Fashion Valley Mall is one of my favorite malls because it has lots of nice brands and restaurants. Recently, there's been a lot of construction, which I don't like, but I think it's for the better. I believe the mall will become even more beautiful.

Nice mall. Hadn't been to mall in a decade. Crazy styles out there, like something between Eddie Murphy in coming to America and the Grizwalds in European vacation, but for triple the price. It was entertaining.

Man did this place get a decent makeover. They added lots of places to sit and enjoy people watching or a cup of coffee. I like what they did to the place to modernize it. This mall is a high end designer mall with the average retail clothing and shoe stores combined.

Bergners at this shopping mall is closing down around end of August (2018). Great deals now & more to come. Many other great stores including a nice food court; all at this mall!

Huge, upscale shopping mall with shops from leading brands. If you are a shopaholic, it’s a paradise for you. There are many good eating spots as well including a food court and Cheesecake Factory. I visited during the Christmas holiday season, so it was crowded. It’s an open mall, so airy and nice. However, that day it was raining! 🙄 There are many upscale stores including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Apple, Rolex, Gucci, Luis Vuitton, coach, Etc. There are economic and ordinary stores as well such as JCP, macy’s, forever 21, hnm, Legoland, Mac, Victoria secret, etc. there are some mobile repairing small kiosks too. It’s a good place for shopping and also to hang out.

All the luxury you want at prices below European and greater selection than anything at duty free. Also great places to eat. Its better to get here before noon as parking fills up really fast. Cali sales tax at 7% sucks.

A great place to shop! This large beautiful store had everything we needed. The store was very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Very efficient setup and the parking spaces are very spacious. What more can I ask more? It was highly recommendable to everyone here in our place! I love to go there again and again!

It is a nice place to stroll around and check out some stores. It has several benches and some couches to rest. The interior design of the food court resembles colonial houses. It is quiet and it has a cute children playground. Also, the Forever21 there is the first that I have seen organized. The bus stop is visible and it has a screen to check the buses approaching to the stop.

I had not been home In over 18 years and was extremely excited that my cousin went out of her way to ensure that I got to go to San Diego, CA. Since this visit is going to be one of many in the future I will just be sure that we visit during regular business hours. This is still a great place to see and lots of cool things to buy. I recommend that you bring your walking shoes as this is what you will be doing a lot of.

Great mall. Outdoor common areas very 90s reminiscent of malls in locales with mostly warm weather. Excellent array of shops open. Great food court, movie theatre and plenty of parking. If no car, it's right on the trolley and bus line as well. Accessible and available for everyone. Love it

Love the outdoor mall-feel and how a good majority of the stores are easily accessible. The only downside is that it is easy to get lost from the lower level to the upper level if you don't know which stores you're trying to find. Using maps on your phone or at the mall should help, but still something to keep in mind, especially if it is your first time visiting.

Escalators really need repaired! Otherwise lovely mall. Has a good food court and Build a Bear and I always see employees cleaning so that’s really nice. I just wish the second floor was easier to get to and more accessible.

I was not interested in the stores or shopping. The food area (market) was awesome! Cool spot with lots of different food options. The food we had was amazing. Also a great spot for celebrity sightings.

  • 5/5 Jason Bia J. 3 years ago on Google
I had a great experience here. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of their job. I liked the outdoor patio. It was very soothing to my soul. I definitely would visit this place again.

  • 4/5 TheLivingFreakshow 3 years ago on Google
I like this mall but I must admit it's mostly a mall for clothes shopping. There's a few tech spots here and there, like the Apple store. The food options are very nice in my opinion.

  • 5/5 Loki B. 3 years ago on Google
You can find all sorts here and I have to say the quality is not too bad!. But my favorite is the jewelry section for the reason that I was looking for a necklace at that time for my younger sister. When I gave it to her, she felt so lucky as she said because the necklace was so beautiful and glimmering. Thank you so much for the saleswoman who helped me to find the best one for my sister.

This has become my favorite mall in San Diego. Fashion Valley has great stores and food that I like: Footlocker (I'm a sneakerhead), the Disney Store (I'm a Disneyhead too), Forever 21, Vans (I love their shoes), Sephora (makeup for my love), Morphe (more makeup for my love), Rubio's (the burritos and fish tacos are everything), Starbucks, Haagen-Dazs, Panda Express & Sbarro. You can make a day of shopping here with all the amazing stores, be outdoors as this is an outdoor mall and get some food or something to drink to recharge to shop some more. There is also a movie theater here as well that has the newest releases too. Fashion Valley is a family friendly mall too so you can being the kids, come alone, with friends or with that special someone and enjoy a day of shopping together.

  • 5/5 O B. 3 years ago on Google
Wonderful shopping experience every time my wife and I shop here. We use to come here during college and going to the movie theater was always a joy for use. It’s safe and clean!

Love this outside mall. Parking garage available and there is plenty of space. They are compliant to social distancing most stores are limiting shoppers and doing temperature check before allowing them to enter. This shopping center inhabits all the upscale shops such as Gucci, LV, YSL, Cartier, etc... Love this place.

  • 1/5 Mark M. 3 years ago on Google
I think this is such a beautiful mall. Very large and lavish with lots of hidden alcoves that hold some really elite stores. There is one huge problem that gets me every trip and it's one bathroom and one halfway working water fountain. I don't know what they try to gain like that but it ruins my experience every single time.

  • 5/5 steven h. 3 years ago on Google
For over a year now, I have come across these two gift cards to Macy's. One day they are in my toolbox, then I'll see them in the kitchen drawer, then the bathroom. It's been freaking me out. So yesterday I got on line, took those gift cards, and bought me two pairs of shoes...k-swiss and Fila high tops. Macy's was great, curb service, ordering on line was smooth, and they were ready for pick up in about two hours. Only con, the website, the following email, and the link to the pick up place, never mentions where to actually go to pick up. It says parking A2, and that's it. We got there, parked, filled out the we're here form, and waited for 15 minutes or more. No curbside. I called the number on the "if you have problems" area of the website, and was informed I needed to park in a designated area, that was not designated to us. Once we got there, called and let them know we were at the proper place, a very nice Macy's employee came up and, since we had masks on, handed me my shoes. Happy ending! Lastly, the shoes fit great, and Fila high tops look just like the shoes MJF wore throughout the movie. Cool!

I love this area of San Diego but there is a lot of construction going on here and in the area that makes traffic and visiting not as pleasant. High end shops and plenty of places to eat. Weather is fantastic most of the time.

Such a great mall! Excellent selection of stores for all price ranges. I appreciate that they didn't just have stores for the super wealthy (Prada?... Normal humans don't shop there!). Lots of fun places to visit and shop with ordinary human income. 😉

Very nice shopping mall with a multitude of stores.

The most beautiful and breathtaking shopping mall in San Diego. It is enclosed but open air and full of energy which is helped by the upbeat unique music they play throughout the mall. A great selection of fashion from high end to moderately priced and a variety of sit down and fast food restaurants and also quick snacks and sweets. Also both a Starbucks and a Better Buzz for you coffee lovers. If you're a shopper you need to check out Fashion Valley Mall. It has its own trolley station where several buses also connect.

Multiple shops are present in this mall including a spacious food court. Mall is very spacious. This shopping area has high end shops too. A good place for shopping. Area is very clean and well maintained. There is a transit station at walkable distance from the mall.

It's a really nice place to shop and have a little fun. The shops, stores and restaurants are great. I do feel like the mall is a bit small and could add more things to make it more attractive. Between this mall and UTC I do prefer UTC mall because it has more to offer.

  • 4/5 Crimson B. 2 years ago on Google
A lot of great variety in stores. Good amount of parking is provided including handicapped. They do need more information stands due to the enormous size of the mall. Expensive mall with expensive stores! But you will probably find what you need here.

Very nice mall but the reviews I read said it was an indoor mall and it fact is an outdoor mall. Since it was summer and hot, we were looking for things to do indoors. Otherwise the place was very clean. It was a challenge getting from the ground level to the upper level, some of the elevators were not working and it's not like they are close together. I don't think I'll ever go back, but if you're into shoppng, they had a lot of stores that's for sure.

  • 4/5 jorge h. 2 years ago on Google
It is a open-air outlet mall, two stories, large parking structure, and parking around shops such as Bloomington and JCPenney's. Most things are overpriced, of course. But if you take your time you can find a lot of good deals. There seems to be a lack of security, and security cameras, so be aware of where you choose to park.

Fashion Valley is ever-changing with new construction going on not sure what's going up but, I'm sure it will be good. There are a lot of new high-end stores. If you don't want to eat in the food court there are several restaurants around where you can eat and then, of course there's always Nordstrom's Cafe. If you're just looking for coffee Better Buzz there along with Starbucks and Nordstrom's Market Bar.

Jam packed with people and cars. Lots of stores to choose from. Great place to get lost. 😉 my biggest complaint is finding parking. Especially by the holidays.

  • 5/5 valedia l. 2 years ago on Google
We visited here at least 3-times during our stay and it was plenty to do. So many different vendors selling one of a kind items. Great food plenty of shaded outdoor dining.

  • 5/5 Delite K. 2 years ago on Google
Considered a high end mall. They are doing some renovations which can be a inconvenience. Some stores have moved and directories have not been updated. They are ready for Santa.

  • 5/5 Hali C. 2 years ago on Google
This is a high end shopping mall. It is outdoors meaning that there is not a central cover hall. (Which wouldn't be great during extreme weather) it's beautiful maintained and easy to loose track of time when with friends. Plenty of places to eat and lots of parking parking. Valet parking is also an option here.

  • 4/5 Dave T. 2 years ago on Google
Great place to shop for high end stuff. Parking is non existent. But I believe the "upfront parking" next to the cheesecake factory is free during the holiday season.

Fashion Valley is a great mall...if you can manage to find parking. I went on a Wednesday at 1PM and the lots were packed/full with dozens of cars roaming and hunting for spots. I circled for 30 minutes, gave up, and went home without having bought anything. I don't shop much at all (maybe hit the mall 1-2 times a year) but I can't imagine what it's like for the average San Diegan who tries to come here regularly.

  • 5/5 Brady K. 2 years ago on Google
This mall has a great mix of high-end stores and also regular stores that you would expect to find at any mall. They also have a lot of great food options here as well, ranging from fast food to high end dining experiences. The atmosphere here is always amazing and there is a ton of parking so that you never have to park too far from any of the stores you intend to visit. This is my go-to mall in San Diego County and I plan to keep coming here for years to come.

Place full of mall with every brands and stores. Best place to roam around And do shopping as your own choice with foods and drinks available in the restaurant from the mall.

Luxurious outdoor mall! Has plenty of stores, clean clean CLEAN atmosphere, and nice restaurants. If you’re looking for a good cardio walk workout, as well as to tone your arms, I ensure you will find that here because I walked a TON, and with all my shopping bags I was hulling around, my arms feel worked the heck out. Very nice place to visit for sure!

Very nice upscale mall with all the top name brand stores. Nordstrom has 3 floors and I bought the latest Channel tennis ($1225). Had to splurge for once! Excellent location away from hustle and bustle (traffic). Great places to dine like Cheesecake Factory etc. Definitely recommend visiting if you love to shop and in San Diego. Huge outdoor shopping mall. Parking is confusing and a pain with different levels and lots. So avoid meeting someone there and finding each other. Very clean and family friendly.

  • 4/5 Larry W. 1 year ago on Google
It's convenient, well laid-out, and has a good selection of stores. Food stands look & smell good, too. The transit center (trolley, bus) is very convenient. If you drive: on busy days, the entrances on the west end are usually the least congested. It does bother me that almost all the stores are wasting huge amounts of energy keeping their doors wide open and pumping hot air into the night.

If you show up here not dressed to the nines you’ll probably stick out. If you’re also not rich you probably can’t afford to actually shop here. That being said, it’s very nice and aesthetic and a nice walk to do window shopping. I will return when I have the riches of a thousand Gods.

This mall is just absolutely great. It has so many of my favorite stores. They have done a lot to this month throughout the years and they're always improving. I guess they have to compete with UTC. There's always new additions to the mall which makes it fun. I really enjoyed the Apple store here because it's nice and large and feels very roomy. The food selection here has also improved a lot throughout the years. There's so many different restaurants to try here and something new is also coming along every so often. They have the classic cheesecake factory and PF Chang's so it's hard to complain. I recently went to the Tommy Bahama bar and I thought that was a cool experience. I was impressed how they pulled off a bar inside a clothing store. My boyfriend and I come here every so often just to get out of the house and take a walk around the mall and get something to eat.
