Nestled next to a private resort, most people think it's off limits to the public which makes North Cove Public Beach a less crowded option in Mission Bay. Complete with picnic tables and charcoal grills.

Great low-key beach that usually isn’t that crowded and has a free parking lot nearby.

Why is there sand on this beach? And why is the ocean moving???? This was the worst experience and the government needs to remove the sand!

Beautiful! Collected shells, watched people boating and windsurfing. Took about an hour and a half to walk around the entire island. Birds of Paradise in the landscaping all over the west/southwest section of the island, fyi. There’s also a model boat pond in the south-west section of the island.

A nice beach with public fire pits for bonfires. The water seems nice even though we did not go in for a swim. During the time we were there, there were lots of noisy people around but I don’t know if that’s the usual atmosphere or if it just happened to be that day. If you need supplies for a bonfire, you can purchase from the gift shop in the Paradise resort. Enjoy!

The beach is nice but during the day if your trying to cool of don't put a chair up to the water and put your feet in, there are small harmless water bugs that bite and it hurts. These are harmless so don't worry about it their just just inconvenience so just use water shoes and the problems is solved, and I'm not sure if their season as I have only been here 3 times. Besides that enjoy the beach!

Used to be great, almost unknown. But now the riffraff has found it, from the homeless to the van dwellers to the gangs who grafitti the bathrooms, not really safe, esp after dark. Still the coolest spot around Mission Bay on a hot day...

I really enjoyed it and love the walks in the morning and evening on the shore line

This place has shade, parking and cool breeze all year round

They have bonfire rings. But there is a large broken cement pipe that drains storm drain runoff into the bay and it runs the atmosphere and makes the water unsafe to swim in.

Less crowded than mission bay and ski beach.
