Came here early in the morning, there were so many people A place like Guozhen Holiday is really scary Just take out your reserved tickets and enter the park as usual As soon as you enter, take the bus tour first. Remember to be on the right side of the bus! Plants on the left and animals on the right After going around for a while, I went to the giraffe to catch the kangaroo bus. When I got there, I found that there was a feeding event during the holidays. Although it cost an extra 15 dollars, the real giraffe was right on your head and drooled on your hat. Oh my god, remember to come and feed it next time you come on holiday. We got on the bus and took the cable car up there. We got off. I wonder if we were too heavy. The cable car was so shaky. Finally, I watched all my favorite animals As someone who has been to two San Diego Zoos Personally, I like this zoo more. There are many animals. Although their butts are facing me, I can see many animals. The other wildlife park is more open and the animals will be very happy in it. Both are handled by the same unit. The food inside also needs to be improved. If you really want to eat, just remember to order a burger. Summary: A zoo with more people than animals

I wouldn't support it if they didn't treat the animals with respect and ensure they live a happy and fulfilling life. Many animals even get time on Safari Park to roam around. This is a wonderful excuse to learn and experience the diverse animal kingdom. Located next to Balboa Park, you can go wrong with such a memorable experience.

One of the greatest zoos in our country. Too bad all the whiners complaining about high prices (food, etc) don't realize that the San Diego Zoological Society is a non-profit endeavor. It's not a for-profit like Six Flags or Disneyland.

I love this zoo! I grew up going there seeing the zoo even grow but I am so disappointed with how expensive the tickets got!!! Used to be $35 dollars for adults now $62 per adult and $52 for a 3 year old??? That’s so outrageous, not to mention the price for food and drinks are insane. I love the seeing all the animals but they way they gouge people for their money is insane

We had heard that the zoo was a good day trip and tackled it even with light rain most of the day. Good variety of animals and zoo is very clean and well maintain. We took the bus tour around allows you to get on and off any stop. So stay longer in area or just to the next buss. I have been to 6 different Zoo's this one rates at the top.

Some people don't realize that the San Diego Zoo Global is a non-profit that supports the SD Zoo, SD Safari park, projects all over the world, not to mention supporting the survival of many species that man's need for more space is wiping out. The folks at both parks are dedicated to supporting the survival of these species and educating people with having these amazing places for the animals and to help people understand. Some use the animals for their viewing pleasure, some for highly needed education, some for both. The hope is that it is both. Also, many people don't realize that the Sd Zoo Global has not one, but two, "frozen zoos" in place should a species be wiped out, they have created hope that they are not gone forever. So, when you complain that it is "overpriced", think about these things. They needs these funds to help species that are being wiped out (largely by us) around the world survive.

The good: It's by the beach. The exhibits are very open - we really loved the giraffes, the wolves, and the flamingos. Do the little train ride, I learned the most about the zoo this way (be a cool kid and sit near the front) and there was a peacock hanging out by the train. But the kids *loved* the park inside the zoo - 60% of our time was spent there. The bad: the carousel was broken (we like a good carousel), the pachyderm building didn't have elephants, and food was so ridiculously expensive. Five dollars for a soft drink from the vending machine...are you kidding me? $9 for a regular pretzel with cheese...please!

This zoo is so big!! I love how kid friendly it is we had kids of all ages 10,8,6,4months. We were only able to get half of it done but I still enjoyed it very much. Some of the nice staff too. We had lots of popcorn, icees , hot chocolate, dip in dots ice cream, reg ice cream.. Africa is where we spent most of our time.

Both the Safari Park and the Zoo are incredible. The zoo is quite extensive, with a great variety of species, shops, cable car, etc…

They just reopened. It wasn't packed, and there are plenty of sanitizing stations everywhere. They have people constantly cleaning the park, wiping down tables and surfaces. There are only a few exhibits closed, but everything else is open. We didn't wait in a single line, and enjoyed the day there.

My son and I didn't get to half the zoo before we had to leave. I'm from East St. Louis, IL so I'm more accustomed to the St. Louis Zoo. Both very nice. Keeper's Club should come in handy this year.
