    Go on line and get the exact size of Levi's then just wait for the email. A week later, I drove to JCPENNEY, parked and a young lady brought out my order. Magnificent experience

    Today’s visit was quite long as we allowed our two young daughters to shop for themselves. Once we were ready to check out we head to the cash register and was warmly greeted by cashier name CLELO He was very welcoming and very patient!!! My kids and I were making decisions on who was going to pay for what and if they want to put anything back she stood there patiently and even gave her opinion and advice to help them make a decision. I have to truly say clelo is an amazing individual and she definitely made our day a whole lot brighter Thank you for being an awesome cashier we need more people like you

    Jeez this store was big. Not to many cashier's on duty. Found everything I was needing or looking for. We went at the right time and got some pretty good sale deals.

    Classic JCPenney store, big, many options, great personal service, good prices and great discounts. I will totally recommend, you can find from very affordable to classic stuff.

    Today I went jewelry shopping in the first time in forevers. The sales rep I had (younger lady with maroon/red hair) was very laid back and made the shopping experience great! I also foolishly left my wallet and she chased me down with it. I'm very happy with my purchase and the overall shopping experience in the fine jewelry department.

    Went shopping for black boots with chunky heel. Found the same pair I bought last year however boots were priced at $100.00: last year priced at 65.00. I didn't buy the boots.

    I have tried several times to get help about a warranty for my pots and pans. The lady at the return desk said she’d have her supervisor contact me and she would call me to let me know if the supervisor is in the day after, but i haven’t heard from either. I also tried calling the store days later and was transferred to the home manager who I was told is there, but was on hold for about 15 minutes and now the store is closed. I am just trying to figure out how to do a warranty but nobody seems to want to help.

    I love to shop at this place but I took my daughter for a Newborn photo shoot. And the blonde lady that was taking the pictures sctrached her when she was swaddling her my baby let out a horrible scream. THEY NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL AND CUT THEIR NAILS if they're handling newborns.

    I don’t know where to begin. Maryam is professional, so caring and so kind, and overall has such a lovable personality that you feel comfortable and confident not only in her skills to do an amazing job on your hair but also giving you the friendly experience you’ve always dreamed of having with a stylist. Us meeting came by way of an unfortunately terrible experience with another stylist at JCPenny’s. It was physically painful and emotionally damaging what happened to me and I hope others take my word into consideration. Like many other women, our hair is a part of our identity and how we style it is like an expression, so when things go wrong it’s as if your being stripped of that… luckily, I had Maryam to help me bounce back from what seemed to be irreparable. Maryam is like the Wonder Woman of hair- she saved me from another minute of feeling helpless and insecure about what would come of my ruined hair. She assured both my husband (who came for moral support) and I that she would be able to fix it. So she did! The results are magic- she really fairy godmother’d my hair! I really felt like a Princess walking out of there. It took more than just a flip of a wand though- she really took the time and put in a lot of care to make it happen. My hair looks amazing! It’s so important to me that she thoroughly explained everything to me- her thoughts and opinions but also making sure she included me in on the final decision to do any specific thing- communication at all points not just at the beginning is like key to a successful relationship with your stylist. With that said, if you ever feel like the stylist hears you BUT doesn’t listen/understand you, if you feel uncomfortable (physically or emotionally) at any point, or if you ask a question and the answer is not straightforward; if it’s vague or ambiguous- PLEASE stand up for yourself. Do not feel like your being impolite or disrespectful. Tell yourself it’s a fair expectation for your stylist to be clear- don’t settle for anything less. Circling back to Maryam- I highly recommend her- I can’t say enough about her. I’m sure JCPenny’s knows she’s simply the best but this woman deserves even more recognition and much respect because she takes on the job with a positive attitude even in situations like this, where she’s having to remedy an unfamiliar and upset client and a hair tragedy. I think being called a Master Stylist is a nice title for Maryam but it’s an understatement- give her business cards that say something like “Wicked Badass Master Stylist”. Also, let it be known this is one of many times she has corrected the work of another stylist. So, get it right the first time and go to Maryam.

    Could not find online order pickup anywhere, had to ask 3 employees...which I think were the ONLY 3 employees in the entire store since not only was I searching for the pickup area I was searching for employees to point me in the right direction. For the size of the store the lack of staff was significantly noticeable.

    Tried to exchange a pair of jeans that were defective (just wanted a replacement), had worn twice, less than two months since purchase. Didn't have receipt. MOD at the return desk refused to entertain any exchange. Asked for my receipt, I asked if she could look it up (using the credit card I bought with) and that's when she notes that the tags had been removed, so nothing she could do...absolutely NO exchange could happen without them. But I removed the tags because I wore them. Some defects aren't noticeable until a wear (or two). Then she mentions the lack of receipt...but we could look that up? When I ask her to pull up the receipt, it's back to the tags, and and reiterating that NO exchanges of Levi's can be made without the tags anyway. Not even with a receipt. Not even for defects. Then why ask about the receipt at all? It seemed like she was basically determined from the start to deny the exchange. She never even asked what the defect was. Buyer beware. They'll sell you clothes that fall apart in days, and refuse to stand behind them. I paid $120 for two pairs of jeans, and got one. At that price I could get something nicer, from a store that will stand behind their products. Shop elsewhere. EDIT: I see that their response bot replied to my review, suggesting I call their customer service line (the 1189 number). I actually did that, and hilariously their customer service rep's solution to my "I cannot use this item and they won't exchange it" was literally "well you can always donate it to charity." Seriously, what an absolute trash brand JCP has become. This is what happens when somebody swoops in after bankruptcy to try and wring every last drop of value out of a legacy company. JCP will be gone in five years.

    I hadn't been here in about 5 or 6 years. It still looks the same, prices are a little more expensive but I brought me a long sleeve blouse. Brought backs lots of nice memories.

    Ugh. Signs all over about BOGO deals or percentage discounts... but actual prices on merchandise are rare. I'm not super price conscious, but I rarely take a crystal ball to predict pricing when I go shopping.

    This place feels like it’s on life support. Just pull the plug and get it over with. Huge amounts of customer friction just to get a price adjustment on a promo of which the salty cashier makes you jump through all these hoops to download the coupon with a barcode. Don’t even get me started on the call center who didn’t even understand how a price adjustment works, or the chat associate who just terminated the chat while I was writing a response. Pull the plug!!

    This store needs to open more fitting rooms. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The prices are great--most things are on sale, plus there are extra discounts if you use a JC Penney credit card.

    I walked in looking for a pair of Levi’s in a specific style and color l.. It was easy to locate the the style and size that I wanted… I has very little to no wait time waiting in line to check out. The only negative was the Arizona brand mens’s jeans assortment even before Black Friday was extremely lite and picked through. The assortment was still the same today. The BOGO on Arizona brand jeans was impossible to take advantage of with no assortment… Q: What happened to your men’s buyers? It’s apparent there was no auto replenishment!!

    JcPenny's beauty shop is the best! I love my esthetician, Jehan. She is a true professional. You cannot go wrong with a visit to her. She will take care of you and does such a great job that you that you will be back for all your waxing needs. And don't forget a facial. It is an experience you won't forget!     Have not shopped at J.C. Penny's in in over a decade. Had a job interview the next day, finding someone to help me was next to impossible, one sales associate spoke very little English and couldn't help me. Returning items took forever. Only one person working. Found a few outfits, chose this one. And got the job. Yay! For me.

    Customer Service Representatives need more training. I got nothing on my visit to the Fashion Valley store but angry when checking out. The CS Rep gave out no smiles and they didn't say welcome or thank you. I got the "next" vibe from her and that is not good in the retail business. Infact, the only thing she did well was to tell me that they are sorry. Not sure how I feel about this.

    Zero stars: JC PENNY SPA customer service turns off their phones when they are busy. I called to reschedule my hair appointment to find out a busy signal for over an hour. Short staff and very unprofessional RECEPTIONISTS. I would not get my hair colored for free. Staff are incredibly rude and always blame the customers. Called even the main store and the manager was rude. It’s horrible, the place ks a zoo. No customer service and overpriced clothing. Hard to breathe in there. In the spa, some employees take off their mask. Lack of compliance with the CDC mandated policy.

    This iconic location has been my "go to" store since I was a kid growing up in early 70's. I can always find what I needed from school clothes into my adult years to holiday gifts. Building still has the original design and structure since 1969. I was already shopping here before the whole remodel of FV in the 1990's. Had my 8th birthday party at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor in 1976 just NW across the parking lot in that little strip mall by Firestone. Call me sentimental but the nostalgia brings back old school childhood memories 😌 ❤

    There was only 1 checkout area with 4 cashier's but one was on the phone and there were at least 20 people in line. This was in San Diego at the Fashion Valley mall.

    I go to the salon in JCPenney and I see my hair stylist, Laura Lopez. She's the best there is. I take my daughter to see her as well. The salon is nice, clean and spacious. Laura has her own private room where I don't have to be sitting in a chair next to a bunch of people. I like that. My daughter recently got her really long very curly hair cut. It looks so adorable. I don't trust just anybody cutting my daughter's hair. 🥰

    Pros - great deals, vast selection, quick checkout Cons - mens fitting room was tightly regulated (8 item cap, cannot try on belt in privacy). The customer service rep monitoring the fitting area 28MAR2022 around 3pm was annoying and rude. I will defer to store management/corporate to reconsider this policy. 8 items is not a magic number, if someone wishes to engage in theft, they will regardless of an item limit. Treat me like an adult and I'll give you the respect you deserve in return; treat me like a child or prisoner and don't expect me to return.

    Had a picture appointment @5:45, they asked to move it to 5:30. Then photographer rushed us thru our session. Disappointed in their customer care/service. After my membership expires, I will not renew. Picture People is much better, in customer service, time taken for session, props & capturing original photos per individual. Penny does same pose/props for every session & end after 15 minutes regardless if the customer is satisfied.

    I had not been to a mall in years and it was a pleasant surprise that Penny's was still open! a it seemed big and did not have as much choice as I would have liked but they did have something. We were looking for clothes for my adult son who is on the large side. They did have a big and tall section and we also found some things in the men's department. There was a line at checkout of about 6 people and the dressing room was a little hard to find. There was no one to ask for help while we were looking. But overall it was fine.
