This is not the first time I come here, and by my arrival, after the rain, all the tables and benches were dry, and the food is tastier and tastier every time! This incredible healthy breakfast, which was put together for me according to my special preference, captured all my attention; and the taste buds just went crazy with this taste! At the same time, I know for sure that if I want natural food - I come here! I also want to add about the girl who prepared this breakfast for me, who felt with all her heart the importance of how I want to taste exactly what will bring me truly heavenly pleasure! And she managed to do it, moreover, in the process of preparing breakfast - she went outside and a couple of details that she clarified - made my breakfast even more delicious!

Located a couple blocks from Miramar Rd, on a quiet side street filled with small businesses, Thyme for Lunch offers hearty, flavorful meals with generous portions and fast, friendly service, with indoor and outdoor seating. Only feedback would be to have the kitchen take it easy on the salt.

Stopped for lunch for myself and crew. All fresh and Made to order. Place was filled with happy customers and the food all looked amazing. We ordered various salads and sandwiches. I had a Gorgonzola Grilled chicken salad. Mixed greens, caramelized walnuts, cheese, dried cranberries and balsamic dressing. Darn near perfect.

Thyme for Lunch Cafe is famous for many different kinds of sandwiches. When you order sandwiches🥪 , you can get salad 🥗 or pasta. I enjoyed "BLTA"(bacon 🥓 , lettuce , tomato🍅 and avocado🥑) It was tasty. During lunch time, many people are in and out.

Off the beaten path, little unexpected find in an setting but both the trip. Sandwiches and lunch fare and a good breakfast menu as well. Heartfelt recommendation (Try the BLT-A)

Friendly staff, fresh tasting sandwiches, good portions and good prices! I lost my sense of taste again :''( but it's slowly coming back so the review on taste is my husband's feedback. He really liked his Italian sandwich and felt satisfied after his meal, which is rare at this price point. As for my tuna melt, his response was "I liked mine better". Couldn't elaborate past that lol but I'm sure it was good because he said we could return another day

What a find!!! Tucked away in a business district they have interesting sandwiches and fun salads. The people are so patient and kind and offer suggestions. The patio outside is so nice since it’s off to the side and not in the parking lot. I only wish they were open later and on the weekends since the food is sooo good!! Nice people and an interesting fun menu is a winning place in my book!

☕️🥓🍳🥔🥑 Thyme is simply exceptional! Their hot breakfast (eggs, perfect bacon and potatoes) keeps me coming back week after week. The quality and flavors remind me of home cooking, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is amazing and overly accommodating. Plus, they serve Caffe Calbria espresso/coffee, accompanied by a relaxing atmosphere with nice music. There's no better way to start my day. Top it all off with… with orange slices🍊 and a home-made salsa 💃🏻 that leaves you unable to eat food without it. 😂 Maybe Thyme for a few more locations?

It's my favorite lunch spot. They have something for every craving I have. They are quick and provide great customer service. The food is always delicious.

The place was recommended by a coworker. I had some dental work and couldn't eat and they have a great selection of smoothies. When I'm able to eat again, I am definitely coming back because their selection of sandwiches, paninis and burritos looks amazing. This is their Tropical Blend with mango, banana and strawberry. Yum!

Very solid breakfast and coffee place! Much better price and quality than those fancy brunch place at tourist attractions.

This place always reminds me of an East Coast diner. Everything is great value and the environment is always relaxed. Only downside is that they are closed on weekends.

Such nice people on staff, really good sandwiches and salads - and a surprisingly good beer selection, esp. local brews. Also the nicest pasta salad (as a side to a sandwich) I've had in ages. Nice places to sit both indoors and out. Recommend highly!

Let me start off with, I moved out of San Diego about a year ago. This Cafe is the best I have ever been to! I’ve been searching for something similar but, honestly nothing compares! This will be my first winter without their delicious Dark Chocolate Hot Chocolate! Their Habanero Salsa from Taco Tuesdays is good on everything!!! Yes please! I will be stopping in on Business trips and holidays! Everything is so good!!!

Perfect place for lunch lots of diversity in the kinds of food everything from vegans / vegetarian through heavy meat. Right next to all your favorite breweries.

Ordered a Cheese Omelet to-go. Left out the potatoes, but added some bacon, spinach and jalapeños! Soooooo good! Staff were very kind and the atmosphere was delightful.

Little pricy for what it is but very nice staff and great food.

This place was like a beehive it was so busy with the lunch crowd. We still found an inside table to eat at. My pasta and soup were very good, but the caffé latte was nothing special.

This place is awesome! The burger is delicious! It comes with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and a garlic aoli. It also comes with some delicious cilantro pasta salad, so good! Everything I've had here has been very good! The breakfast burritos are great as well, staff are super friendly too! highly recommend this place!

Looooove their coffeee!!! Food's good too! I had Tree Hugger without the mozzarella. I just hope they have more vegan/vegetarian options.

I ordered the Greek Salad, the description of the salad on their website states it has Kalamata olives. It comes with canned diced black olives. While they're both olives, black and Kalamata olives are completely different. I just thought they should know they should take "kalamata olives" off their description and instead put diced black olives. That's not my only complaint, however. This salad tastes like they took a bag of garden salad, frozen grilled chicken like the kind you get at the grocery store, a can of black olives, and mixed it up and called it a greek salad. I do not believe this chicken was fresh or grilled in house, and the vegetables are not fresh or cut in house. Straight out of bags and cans. If you want a fresh delicious salad with fresh grilled chicken, go somewhere else.

Food was delicious.. Had the egg breakfast sandwich.. Very cute inside and it was the perfect weather to sit outside and watch the planes as they take off from near by miramar air base..

Is it possible to review them 100 stars? I cannot express my gratitude for Kendra and the team over at Thyme for Lunch. Here at the office, they have saved the day, multiple times, on short notice! Today for example, after another restaurant decided to cancel my catering order without proper notice, it wasn't until i called them that i found out about the cancellation ONE HOUR before the delivery! I immediately thought of Thyme for Lunch and they delivered in less than two hours, catering for 80 hungry people! if you are in need of excellent, quality food, and reliable staff for catering, contact them!

I got a local kombucha, vegan veggie packed green goddess smoothie, and an incredible shrimp taco. It tasted fresh and delicious. This is a great place for a good food- healthy or indulgent. Also I need to add the staff was so kind.
