Casual sit down place. Good hot dogs for a decent price. They have a cool pumpkin carving station as well right now!

Good hot dogs are such a rarity in San Diego in comparison to other foods. I was really surprised at the quality of the ingredients used. Totally unexpected hot dog spot and totally worth the trip and every penny. Highly recommend the Surf and Turf dog, Piña Colada and Cucumber Mint Lemonade.

The food was amazing. The TJ hot dog was spot on. They could use more tables and/or a larger dining area. The service at the counter was mediocre at best. The girl who brought the food was friendly. $36 for 2 TJ hotdogs, a fry and 2 coronas, so yeah, the prices are very inflated. It was a nice memory but not someone I can afford to frequent.

Not really a fan of hotdogs unless they are like this. Bread was soft, hot dogs were flavorful and juicy and the toppings took me back to a certain time in Mexico I had. All I can say is damn they were good.

This was my first time visiting this place. WoW the food was fantastic only a couple of blocks from Petco Park so jump over before or after a game. Prices were very good.

Great place for a Michelada! Had the pleasure of ordering the first as they just started selling that same day, very flaverfull and affordable. Menu looks fantastic, cant wait for summer..

The cheesy garlic fries didn't have garlic, salt, or I think even cheese! The orange colored sauce didn't have a flavor at all. There aren't many seats and it's only outdoor seating with no shade. I was covered with flies the whole time. The street corn cup was very small but at least it tasted good.

You had me at bacon wrapped…had a bacon wrapped hot dog at the Oceanside Sunset Market on Thursday’s. We like to walk around first before we decide what food to try and as soon as I saw Doggos I knew we’d be back! And I’m glad we did. These hot dogs are amazing! And the buns were so fresh and soft not to overpowering so the protein was the star (as it should be). The jalapeños we only had on half cuz I’m a lightweight when it comes to spice (don’t judge). My hubby said they def had a bite! Anywho, you have to try these bacon wrapped hotdogs!!

Not a lot of cheese on the garlic cheese fries. No garlic flavor at all. Veggie dog was Egh. Food looks good. But flavor is lacking

Came to the Church by the Lost Abbey and discovered this wonderful place! We all loved the food we got, and it came out really quickly. It's all outdoor seating technically, but the Lost Abbey has QR codes to order inside, so you can eat next door as well. Super dog friendly. Looking forward to coming back here.

Doggos Gus is an outdoor patio area in East Village that serves specialty Mexican flavored Bacon Wrapped hot dogs along with some other side items. There is picnic table seating available outside and you can also eat inside at the neighboring bar. To order you go up to a device rather than order from a live person. While I can appreciate that it cuts down on overhead expenses to make people order on devices rather than a live person, to me it was a little bit off putting and made the experience less personal. After placing the order they will text you when it is ready and you go to the pickup window. The dogs themselves were really tasty even if they were somewhat expensive given that its a hot dog, specialty or not. We ordered an Ayyyy Weyyy and a California. The California comes with fries on the hot dog itself. Hot dogs are served in a basket with a side of ketchup. It took about seven minutes to receive the text that they were ready. There is no parking lot here given it’s in East Village so you either have to look for street parking (limited). I would recommend taking a ride share, trolley or walking here if you’d like to go. I took a star off due to the impersonal service.

I wasn’t impressed. I had the TJ jumbo dog with fries. It was decent, but didn’t taste all that good, just decent enough to withstand. The street hotdogs they sell at Mission Beach are much better! The service was subpar, not bad but wasn’t good either. Don’t think I would come back.

The hotdogs are very good, not much settings and standing outside is windy. The beach is across the street. There is also alot of take out traffic. I will return!!

Love me a darn good gourmet Mexican hot dog. My favorite is the TJ doggo. I top it off with a side of their garlic cheese fries before taking a walk down the beach. The staff is always very nice and accommodating.

Just popped in for some dessert. But the churros were great. Quick serve. Friendly workers. Rest of menu looked very tasty.

Finally stopped and I don't know why it's taken this long! We wanted to try everything, but we settled on the burger, a few dogs, fries, and churros. All said and done, its a fun experience and the staff is really friendly. The TJ dog hit the spot, the fries are great, and the Churros are dangerously delicious.

My first visit to Doggos Gus. I got a bacon wrapped dog and have to say that it was really delicious. The fries were really good to that come with the meal. The bread that this place uses is not a cheap type either. This place is top notch dogs and food. Super nice staff. Im glad I stopped by and do recommend to anyone.

Quick and tasty stop for burgers, dogs, and drinks. Service is fast, food is good, and prices are remarkably reasonable for the area. Small seating bar-type area in front, good spot to people watch and grab a view of the sunset.

Good dogs. Crispy bacon. The dogs have the crispy texture of char grilling but are done on a flattop. Because of the season the street corn was niblets in a cup with the usual garnish. A friend had the veggie burger and pronounced it tasty.
