Love this park for it's well kept greenery, picnic spots and lake. Towards the end of the lake, a beautiful snow mountain awaits those who find their way towards the sailing spot. There lots of wildlife and ducks here too. It's serenity takes away any stress. Hv a family picnic here and cuddle up for a nap on the green grassy lawn or bbq as well. Any day is a fabulous day at this park.

I meet friends there for mountain biking. We usually ride about 10 miles on dirt roads & single track. Its a beautiful park. Besides hiking & biking there's boating, kayaking, fishing, a beautiful RV park & in summer a swim beach and huge picnic areas.

I wish I could give this place a 6 stars! Amazing trails that wrap around the entire .dam... ups and downs, challenging to easy and back to challenging. I made it into a 8 miles run... but there is easily over 15 miles of trails that are at times endless. Parking as at parks or on streets that allow you to park... so explore and you'll have a great time...beyond my imagination, the best run iI wish I could give this place a 6 stars! This is a wonderful park, beautiful hills and mountains in view. Clean bathrooms, too! The cost is $12 per vehicle, but if you enter after 5P, it's free! My man-friend and I had a wonderful time here.

Beautiful lake. We took out paddle boat with us. It's $25 parking for a boat, and you must have a life jacket per passenger upon entry. Staff is directed to inspect the watercraft and vest. There are different areas of the lake designated for different uses, do make sure to talk to the staff to direct you where to go. There is also areas for larger watercraft, and recreational swimming, with plenty of lifeguards.

The lawn is very large and broad, a lot of stone tables and chairs, some have a roof, convenient for everyone to eat together, trash cans are also a lot, toilets are also a lot, very convenient. There is a big lake in it and it feels good.

I have not been fishing in quite a few years and so I decided that this park was the place to go and practice casting. I had a lot of fun and got my arm in shape for the real fishing trip I plan on going on next month in July. I was very surprised at all the ducks and geese that wander about in the park by the water. It was great fun watching them especially after they had their young and they took them out for their outings. They were quite a sight.

Great park in the area. Open grass areas, hiking trails, playgrounds, fishing. It’s the perfect place for me to run my dog and burn his energy. I take my dog around the dam towards the water park, rarely any people and few cars

Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park is an amazing place to visit. The park has a beautiful lake surrounded by stunning scenery. It's a perfect spot to relax and escape the busy city life. I also had a picnic, which was great. I also came here for a few birthday parties, and it all went great and smooth. If you love nature and want a memorable outdoor experience, make sure to check out this park! You definitely won't regret it.

Been coming to Bonelli since I was six. Many moons ago. Anyways this review is specifically towards July 16, 2023. It was a very hot day and the lake was closed. To add to that, the water fountains were shut off. I think we collectively ran to the local Vons like 3 times to purchase more drinking water. What more is there to say?

We love this park my son and I take two mile walks around the park and the lake Mon - Fri. We love it. We feed the ducks and geese cut up vegis and rice, there are about 5 or more different types of playgrounds around the park. There is a great all rock playground and great workout ground. Great for parties, or walks, hiking, feeding the geese, fishing, you can bring your boats , and a section beach for swimming. The park is very well maintained contanstantly. It has bathrooms every half mile or less they are everywhere which is great. It is $12 for admission and yearly passes are about $150. Its free after 5pm.

Love our Guyanese picnic every year. The restrooms is NASTY and smell of urine. The park itself is beautiful and that is why I go every year.

Best city park I've ever visited. I love that they charge an entry fee; it keeps out all the bums and druggies and other criminals. Huge park with beautiful, well kept playgrounds and lake access, walking and running trails. All parks should charge entry fees to keep our people who abuse them.

It is an awesome park with many playgrounds for kids to enjoy. It is a perfect place where you can enjoy peaceful atmosphere and clear your mind. It had been my favorite park during my stay nearby for almost two years. I really miss this place. It has different spots with different views and themes. You can stay by the lake and have barbecue.

It was a really nice park before, to enjoy family picnics. The park needs some TLC, especially in the restroom area, the barbq grills. People have just destroyed them over time and it's hard to cook your food properly. The lake is drying up as well slowly with this drought. Overall it's still a great place. Bring your own grill.

Hidden quiet parks with a huge lake within the busiest part of Los Angeles and highways. Overviewing breaktaking mountains scenes from every angle of the park. Easy trekking routes within the hills and lot of places for picnics and families gathering. Pet friendly park. Parking is on the high side $12/per entry. The rest is excellent for a day retreat.

This is a great place to get outside... big lake, plenty of trails paved and unpaved, long cycle trail going around the periphery of the whole park, there is a really cool RV park there if that's your thing. Tons of bird wildlife. Easy to get to of the freeway. Well worth a visit. Great for familes

I love this place, perfect for hikes, bike rides, exercise, picnics and barbeques. You can rent bikes, boats and a bunch more and the prices are actually affordable. You could camp, or just do day use. Tons of life with ducks, frogs, skunks, geese, swans, and fish. There are life guards, police on site and police boating in the lake so it felt safe. I'd say if you're planning a party come early to find a good picnic area and shaded spot. I'm not sure what the finishing and boating is like but there are also those options and I saw a ton of people enjoying themselves.

Really nice gem in this area. Park is well kept considering there's a lot of parties, people, dogs all around. The water area is nice although was crowded when I passed by on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of open shaded bbq areas. And paddle boats are readily available to rent. Recommend for couples, and families. Please keep this park clean by cleaning up after yourselves. :)

This was my first time at this park and I loved it. I saw a racoon, beautiful birds, and met a very kind older gentleman that worked here for almost 20 years. The trails were great to hike with pets and small children. Will definitely be coming back here.
